“Manuel is the spy, I caught him while he was talking to Arturo over the phone” Andres said.
“Manuel?” Fernando glanced at Valerie.
“Yes Fernando, I have an evidence with me here” Andres brought out the phone and played the video.
“Here it is” he handed the phone to Fernando.
Valerie moved closer to him, she could feel Fernando body tensed beside her.
“Where’s Manuel?” Fernando asked slowly.
“I ki||ed him”
“What?”
“He was being stubborn so I had to ki|| him. He betrayed you Fernando, and he’s not meant to be alive” Andres said.
“Why did you do that? You could have allowed me to punish him myself” Fernando muttered.
“He wanted to run away, I couldn’t take such a risk, so I did the right thing I could think of”
“Right thing?” Fernando chuckled.
“So Arturo has the audacity to make one of my men a spy?” Fernando growled.
“So, what’s your next move now? You already know the spy and he’s dead, what are you going to do to Arturo?” Andres asked.
“And you think I’m going to tell you that?”
“What do you mean?” Andres asked
“I still need to think, you can go” Fernando dismissed him.
“I’ll be back” Andres said. He glanced at Valerie who wasn’t even staring at him, he cleared his throat before leaving.
“Ferdie, he’s not to be trusted. He could have made this up” Valerie said immediately Andres was out of the room
“I know, I ain’t a fool. He wanna play games with me, then let’s play along” Fernando said.
He looked at the phone and played the video again, he smiled when he finally got what he wanted.
“Manuel was in a bush, definitely Andres took him there against his will and then ki||ed him to avoid suspicions”
“Then do you mean…. Manuel’s body might still be outside?” Valerie asked.
Fernando nodded.
“Then his family… He mentioned something like his family were hold hostage, what are you going to do about them?” Valerie asked.
“Nothing” Fernando simply replied.
“Nothing?”
“Arturo would have ki||ed them. Andres is working for him, I shouldn’t expect less. I just need to find out if Manuel is still alive” Fernando said.
“Are you going to save him?” Valerie asked.
“He needs to avenge his family’s death” Fernando answered.
He took his phone and dialed Alex’s number.
“Meet me in my room now” He said immediately Alex picked the call.
In no time, Alex was already present in the room.
“Do you need something?” Alex asked.
“Call Javier and Camila with you and go outside the clan. Go to the nearest woods around and search for Manuel’s body. Let me know if he’s still alive” Fernando instructed.
“Manuel? Was he ki||ed by Arturo?” Alex asked
“Just do what I said”
“Of course I will. Will be right back” Alex bowed before leaving the room.
“What are you going to do about Andres? It’s obvious he isn’t who he claims to be”
“I wanna play along with him, let’s see who’s the fool here. Val, be careful around Andres, don’t ever go to his room alone”
Valerie smiled.
“You should know I’m more smart than you think” she winked.
“But I still need to worry, not when you’re two now”
“I want twins” Valerie pouted.
Fernando laughed.
“I can’t handle them, kids are trouble” Fernando shook his head.
“They are actually cute and lovely, I love kids” Valerie smiled.
“That’s because your childhood was filled of Rosy memories not like mine”
Valerie frowned.
“You’re actually wrong. I lost my mom at the age of eight, and then my dad remarried not long after that and then suddenly disappeared without leaving a word. I’ve not heard of him till now, I don’t even know if he’s alive or not”
She faced Fernando.
“My stepmom and sister made life a living hell for me in that house, thankfully I’m not gullible, I gave it to them back” she laughed.
Fernando smiled.
“Did they beat you up?” Fernando asked.
“No. Don’t,,, don’t try it. Don’t do anything to them, I know that look” she warned.
“Fine, I won’t. As long as they didn’t hurt you, then it’s fine by me”
“Ferdie, are you okay?” Valerie suddenly asked.
“Hmm, what do you mean?”
She moved closer to his and hugged him.
“Your best friend betrayed you by working with your worst enemy, it must hurts a lot” she mumbled.
“I would be lying if I say no but I’m never forgiving Andres. He already marked his death the day he betrayed me”
“Just be careful, Ferdie. I don’t wanna lose you” she muttered.
“You ain’t losing me, Val. Never” he assured.
Valerie smiled and hugged him tighter.

“Isn’t it weird? What will Manuel be doing in the woods?” Camila mumbled.
She, Alex and Javier are outside the clan, they’re looking for Manuel’s body in the woods.
“That’s also my thoughts” Javier said.
“Oh my gosh! What’s that?” Camila screamed, pointing at the floor.
Alex and Javier quickly looked at the direction she was pointing at and their eyes almost popped out of it’s socket.
Manuel was laying lifelessly on the floor, his head had a big hole in it with all the flesh popping out, flies are perching on it.
“My f-__-k, who could have done this?” Alex wondered.
“Why is all this suddenly happening to us? Are we in any kind of danger now?” Camila muttered.
“Luis is gone, Manuel is also gone. Don’t you think it’s our time to take action? This is already getting out of hand” Javier said.
“Exactly, I also thought of that. I’ll inform Boss about it, we can’t keep losing ourselves this way” Alex said.
“Firstly, we have to bury his body” Camila said and they all nodded in agreement.

HERNANDEZ’S RESIDENCE***
Della was sitting in the living room, a bowl of popcorn in her hands as she watched a movie. She was still focused on the movie when Sara passed by, dressed in a white top and jeann trouser
“Are you going somewhere honey?” Della asked Sara.
“Yea, won’t take long” Sara replied. She was about to take a move when Della stopped her.
“Are you sure you’re okay? I think you’ve lose a lot of weight this days” Della said.
Sara went stilled for a moment. She would be a fool if she says she hasn’t been noticing that. She’s been bleeding a lot lately even in her V@ģĭń@.
“I’m fine, mom. I’ve been taking a lot of exercises lately, I really wanna have a model body like Valerie” Sara muttered.
Della rolled her eyes.
“I told you not to talk that way, you’re way prettier than her. She’s just a ugly Ɓîtçh”
Sara smiled.
“Noted. I’ll be back, mom” she left.
“What’s wrong with her? She’s always proud of her body so why the sudden interest in losing weight?” Della muttered to herself.
