“Val, why the tears? Are you okay?” Camila asked as Valerie entered the room in tears.
“Did something happened with the Boss?” She asked again
“He never stop hurting me with his words, I h@ťě him” Valerie mumbled.
Camila sighed.
“Come here and tell me what happened” she dragged her to the bed.
“What did the Boss say? Did you both had a fight?” She asked
“No, we were fine just this morning till we entered his room. I saw one strange man and… I don’t wanna talk about it, it makes me more mad” Valerie said.
“Seriously, I think Boss needs someone to reset his brain, he’s always hurting you all the time” Camila said.
“But wait a minute, are you perhaps in love with the Boss?” She wiggled her brows.
“What? That’s absurd. I h@ťě him, remember?”
“Well, feelings do change. And, you wouldn’t be mad at him if you aren’t in love with him” Camila said.
“I don’t love him, Camy. Stop thinking rubbish” Valerie snapped.
“Fine, fine. You don’t have to get angry” Camila muttered.
“I wasn’t angry” Valerie mumbled
“Then you love him!” Camila giggles.
Valerie made a dramatic eye roll
“I don’t love him, he’s a jerk, a devil” she said.
“That’s his pet name, right? I think that’ll very cute, handsome devil. Whoa! That’s so cute!” Camila laughed
Valerie facepalm herself.
“I think moving in with Jade will be a great idea” she mumbled.
“Then I’m coming along. Should I start packing our clothes?” Camila asked.
Valerie groaned loudly before picking a pillow and threw it at her.
“Piss off!” She shouted and Camila stuck her tongue at her.

FERNANDO’S ROOM***
“Valerie has done nothing wrong, why will you want to ki|| her?” Fernando asked.
“Because she’s slowly turning you into something else Nando, and I’m never allowing that”
“She’s just an innocent girl who knows nothing. I’m at fault, I brought her here against her will, I’m the one to blame… Don’t just hurt her”
“She’s going to be used as a bait against you, Nando. I’m sure Arturo must be aware of her existence in this clan now. Think wise and don’t make a foolish mistake!” Don yelled.
“Just leave this to me, I’ll handle it. Don’t do anything, just leave everything to me” Fernando said.
“This is not just about you, Nando. I also have a score to settle with Arturo” Don said.
“And that is?”
“You’ll find that out with time. Make sure you do the right thing, I’ll be watching you. The girl must not still be here in three days” Don said before leaving the room
Fernando went to the drawer and brought out the letter, his gaze hardened as he read the contents over and over again.
FLASHBACK***
“Can you do me a favour?” Fernando asked Andres. They’re both in his room.
“And that is?” Andres asked.
“Can you write a letter to Don? He sent me a letter this morning and I have to give him a feedback” Fernando said.
“Sure, but I’ll have to read the letter first before knowing what to write”
“Okay” Fernando gave him the letter.
After a while, Andres was done with writing the letter, he handed it to Fernando.
“I know my handwriting isn’t good, you don’t have to mock me” Andres rolled his eyes.
Fernando laughed dryly.
“This should do. Find a messenger to send it to Don” he said
Andres nodded.
END OF FLASHBACK***
“Andres” Fernando whispered, gripping the letter so tight.
“Why??” He punched the wall very hard, blood oozing out from his hand but he cared less.
His mind was troubled, he found out his brother was a spy, a betrayal. Then, Don wants to Valerie. Would he even allow him to try it??

“I sent a picture of Fernando and Valerie to Don, he’s in the clan now” Andres said to Arturo over the phone. He’s in his room to avoid any one eavesdropping on him.
“Good. I’m sure they’ll have a great misunderstanding. This is the best time to attack, be careful, Andres. We’ve come this far to be defeated” Arturo said.
“Of course, I’ll find a way to abduct Valerie. You’ll ki|| her so Fernando will have to think Don ki||ed her. That’ll cause a rift between them, that’ll be our chance to enter them”
Arturo laughed.
“That’s brilliant. You aren’t my son for nothing”
Andres laughed.
“Let’s talk later, Arturo. I don’t want to be caught” Andres said before ending the call.
“Fernando, your doom is near” he smirked.

HERNANDEZ’S RESIDENCE***
“Sara, are you okay? You haven’t been out of your room since. You didn’t even came down for dinner” Della said as she walked into Sara’s room
“I’m not feeling too well, Mom. I’ll just eat later” Sara mumbled.
“You know you can always tell me anything, what’s wrong with you?” Della asked, sitting on the bed.
“I don’t know, but I’ll be fine. I just need a little rest” Sara replied.
Della sighed.
“Don’t fall sick, okay?” She asked and Sara nodded.
“Mom, can I ask you a question?” Sara asked.
“Sure. What is it?” Della asked.
“What’ll become of us when he suddenly returns back? We don’t have anywhere else to go, this has been our house for years” Sara said
“Look here baby, don’t think any negative thoughts again, okay? Everything will be fine, besides I don’t think he’ll be coming back. If he is, he’d have done that long ago” Della said.
“I can’t help but to be worried, and Valerie is nowhere to be found. We can’t even save ourselves when he return” Sara said
“Stop saying all this, just lie down and have a rest. I’ll check on you later”Della said. She kissed her forehead before leaving the room.
Sara exhaled loudly and closed her eyes.
Della got outside the room and stares at Sara’s door
“Why is she suddenly talking that way?” She wondered.

ARTURO’S HIDEOUT***
Arturo entered a dark room with Diego behind him, he switched on the light and it revealed a woman sitting on the bed, staring into space.
“Do you prefer staying in the dark?” He asked but there was no response.
“Why haven’t you been eating?” He asked again.
There still wasn’t any response.
“Talk now!!” He growled.
The woman didn’t even glance at him, it was as though he was invisible.
“You know, I’m so close in catching your son. This time around, you’ll watch as I ki|| him right in your presence”
The woman turned to him, a dangerous glare on her face. If looks can ki||, he’d have been ten feet by now.
“Hey, don’t give me that look. A woman is going to be his downfall just as his dad” he laughed
He faced Diego.
“Serve her food and make sure she eats it, even if you have to shove it in her nose. Enjoy your day, Bella” he laughed before going out of the room, Diego went after him.
Bella folds her fist tightly, a single tear rolled down her cheek.
“Ferdie” she whispered.

RED’S CLAN***
“Are you okay?” Jade asked Alex as they take a stroll around.
“Yes, I guess so” Alex mumbled.
“Did you try to talk to her?”
Alex smiled sadly.
“I went to her house only to discovered that she already moved on. She has another guy with her and I caught them making out in her room” he said.
Jade looked at him with pity.
“I’m really sorry about that” she said.
“It’s fine, I just realized how much of a Ɓîtçh she is” he smiled.
“You’re actually cool, you don’t deserve this”
“I know, right?” He chuckled.
“I really wish to ki|| her right now for making me go through that $h|t, but I can’t do that. She’s lady after all”
“So, what about you? Any guy in the picture?” He asked.
“No, though I had a lot of exes” she laughed.
“Really?”
“Was just kidding”
“Oh c’mon” they both laughed.

CAMILA’S ROOM***
Valerie rolled to the other side of the bed for the umpteenth time, she sat up and roughed her hair in frustration.
“f-__-king get out of my head!!” She yelled.
“d@mn you, Ferdie!” She screamed.
“I h@ťě you… No, I don’t” she stood up and ran out of the room.
She got to his room and saw him coming out of the shower, a tower around his waist.
She gulped down nothing, her eyes on his chest, water dripping on it segzily.
“Why are you here, Val?” Fernando asked in a deep voice
‘Oh no, those segzy voice’ Valerie thought, unconsciously licking her lips.
“Val?” Fernando called.
She smiled and walked closer to him, she was almost close to him when Fernando poke her forehead with his finger.
That snapped her out of her reverie and she quickly looked away embarrassed.
“Are you done drooling?” He asked, a lazy smile on his lips.
“I wasn’t” she denied.
Fernando nodded, deciding not to take it further.
“So, why are you here?” He asked.
“Huh? I…” She cleared her throat, maintaining a serious face.
“I’m here for the letter… Yes, the letter” she said.
Fernando pointed at his drawer and she went to it, she opened it and took the paper.
“Okay then” she was walking to the door when he stopped her.
“Are you mad at me?” He asked.
“Mad? Why would I?” She turned to look at him and forced a smile.
“I know what you might be thinking, but just know everything I’m doing is for your own good. I wouldn’t want you to get hurt” Fernando said.
“I don’t understand you, if you’ll excuse me… Boss” she bowed and left the room.
Fernando sighed. He know she wouldn’t even believe him, he just didn’t want her to get hurt because of him and the only thing he could think of at that moment was….
Make her leave the clan. He would want her to go back to the way she was living her life before.
To forget she ever met him. To her, he’s just a dream, a dream that can never come true.
