HOURS LATER***
Valerie opened her eyes when she felt someone knocking the glass. She tilted her eyes and saw Alex staring at her worriedly.
She quickly sat up, she didn’t even knew she slept off.
She opened the car door and popped her head outside.
“Boss lady, I was so worried. I thought something bad happened” Alex said.
“I just slept off. Can I go out now?” She asked.
“Yea”
Valerie got down from the car and stretched her body.
“What’s the time?” She asked Alex.
“6pm” Alex replied and she gasped.
“Seriously? He just remembered me now after three hours??”
“It wasn’t his fault, he….”
Valerie glares at him and he stopped talking.
“He’s sure gonna get it from me” she muttered, attempting to walk away.
“Er… The Boss said you both aren’t going to share a room together anymore. He said you’ll be staying with Camila” Alex said.
“Huh? He said that?”
Alex nodded. He entered the car and carried the bags where the clothes are.
“Do you know why he said that?” Valerie asked.
“No, I don’t”
Valerie bit her lips. Firstly, he kept her in the car for hours and now he wants them to be in a separate room?
She should be happy, shouldn’t she?
“Wh@ťěver, I don’t care” she scoffed before walking away.
They got to Camila’s room, Alex dropped the clothes in a corner and left the room immediately.
“Firstly, come and have your seat, then you tell me what happen” Camila smiled.
“Those bags contains some clothes, he bought them for me” Valerie said
Camila screamed loudly.
“Wow! That’s so sweet! The Boss is surely romantic” She gushed, clasping her hands together.
Valerie rolled her eyes.
“Romantic my foot! Someone that kept me in the car for hours and then telling me I’m not longer staying in his room. Such a jerk”
“Wait, if I hear you right, you said you’ll be staying here?” Camila asked and she nodded.
“Awwn, I’m really gonna love that. Yea, I’m gonna be sharing a room with the Boss’s woman!!”
Valerie shook her head.
“Talking to you wasn’t a good idea after all. I better go to Jade” Valerie muttered.
“I’m coming right behind you!” Camila said
“Just ki|| me” Valerie facepalm herself.

ARTURO’S HIDEOUT***
Arturo faced the guy beside him as he’s taking a stroll.
“He said the Don is back” the guy said.
Arturo stopped walking.
“He’s back?” He chuckled.
“What’s the old man looking for? This is really becoming interesting. Don, Fernando and I” he laughed loudly.
“What’s the Don saying? Did he hear anything?”
“The Don is back for good. I think we need to be careful now”
“You don’t need to tell me, I’m Arturo and I’ll end up eliminating Don and Fernando” he brought his hand to his face and rubbed the ring.
“Don, I’m going to make sure you pay for what you did that day” he mumbled.

FERNANDO’S ROOM***
“The Don is back, what are you going to do?” Andres asked Fernando.
“What else? As long as this is not his clan, then everything will be fine. I really wonder why he came back so sudden without informing me” Fernando said.
“Maybe he wanted to make it a surprise. What about Valerie, how are you going to do it?” Andres asked.
“I’ll just have to make sure she wouldn’t be around whenever Don decides to visit here. And, I really need to distance myself from her. She’s….” Fernando stopped and sighs.
“She’s what?” Andres asked curiously
“Nothing. You should get going, I’ll try and visit Don tomorrow. I really need to know his plan now, we’re getting rid of Arturo together” Fernando said.
“Sure, let me know his decision when you’re back” Andres said.
Fernando nodded.
“Let’s talk later” Andres said and went out of the room.
Fernando looked around the room and sighed deeply. It suddenly feels empty without Valerie, his eyes went to the bathroom and he imagined Valerie coming out with his towel around her.
He shook his head, he really need to distance himself from her. Taking her to Camila wasn’t going to be a bad idea.

Camila, Valerie and Jade are busy taking a stroll, they’re so engrossed in their discussion that they failed to see Chloe approaching them.
“Why are you still here? You should have been dead by now” Chloe said.
Valerie smiled.
“And as you can see, I’m alive and healthy. Oh, you actually thought Ferdie was going to ki|| me? Sorry to say, instead you made it so much easier for us cos”
She moved closer to her ear and whispers,,,
“We had a hot steamy night together, he f-__-ks so well” she whispered.
Chloe’s eyes widened and she stared at her in anger.
“Keep doing that, I wouldn’t mind if it happened again” Valerie stood upright, staring at her.
“Bìtch” she mumbled before walking away.
“That’s my baby!” Camila shouted, she stuck out her tongue at Chloe before running after Valerie.
“I so much h@ťě her” Chloe screamed.
“That’s because you’re a Ɓîtçh just like she said” Jade rolled her eyes before going to meet Valerie and Camila.
“And who the hell is that wench?!” Chloe shouted.

“Seriously? You wouldn’t mind if it happened again?” Camila laughed.
“I just said that to make her mad, nothing else” Valerie mumbled.
“Are you sure about that? What if it’s the other way round?” Camila wiggled her brows.
“Now, I keep asking myself if you’re really one of this clan. I’m sure you don’t even know how to handle a gun” Valerie said.
“Really? Is that how low you think of me? What if I surprise you?” Camila asked.
“I bet you don’t know anything” Jade muttered.
“You guys have got to believe me, I’m a doctor. Have you forgotten I was the one who treated you?” Camila faced Jade.
“I’m so good at handling guns too” she uttered.
“Oh…. I believe you” Valerie said sarcastically.
“You don’t” Camila said.
Valerie and Jade exchanged glances before bursting out in laughter.
“See? You don’t” Camila whined, pointing at them.
Andres walked up to them, Valerie stopped laughing when she saw him.
“Valerie, can I see you for a bit?” He asked.
“No” Valerie replied bluntly.
“I know you’re mad but sincerely, I’m sorry” Andres muttered.
“It’s fine” Valerie said and tried to walk away.
“Can we see each other later? Or like, have dinner together tonight?” He asked.
“I’m sorry but I can’t. Let’s go, Jade” Valerie said before walking away.
“You shouldn’t have done that in the first place” Camila mumbled. She went after Valerie leaving Jade behind.
“What happened between you two?” Jade asked.
“It’s complicated” Andres mumbled.
“You really look cute when you’re sad” She said.
“You don’t h@ťě me?” Andres asked.
“Why would I? I’ve forgotten about everything, maybe this was my fate after all” Jade shrugged.
“I’m sorry for that” he mumbled.
“Oh c’mon, it’s fine, really. I’m just glad my brother is here with me” she smiled.
“I need to go, you don’t have to be sad. She’ll surely come around though I don’t know what happened between you two” Jade said and walked away.
“I really hope she will” Andres mumbled to himself.
