★ THE ARREST★
<< EVENING ~ ALEXANDER HOME >>
“Have you book your plane ticket? ” Alexander ask the moment Sebastian came down the stairs.
“I have but the issue here is that the only plane to Mexico will take off in two days. Just two days and I will be out of your way” Sebastian said and went into the kitchen.
Knowing his Godson was angry, Alexander followed him to the kitchen.
“How long will you keep on sulking? I told you that it’s just going to be for a while, until I get Pearl to forgive us both” Alexander said wanting him to see reason.
“I understand which is why am leaving, you don’t have to explain further ” Sebastian said and began to leave the kitchen but Alexander stood in his path.
“You are still sulking you know?” Alexander said and Sebastian had to force a smile on his face.
“Am not sulking. I mean it” He added and went upstairs.
Picking up his phone, he dialled a certain number.
“Have the body been found?” Sebastian asked.
“Yes boss? As am speaking to you right now, his corpse is being taken away”
“That’s good then” Sebastian said before ending the call.
His trip to Mexico will be held back till further notice, afterall he will have important things to do here from now on.

<< JEROME’S RESIDENCE >>
“Easy” Pearl said as she help him get to his room.
” Where are you going?” Jerome asked when Pearl turn to leave.
“Have to charge my phone,it’s dead. Yours have been stolen which means am the only way they can get to us and if my phone is dead, we will have no idea of what’s going on around us” Pearl said.
“Can’t it wait a bit longer, I want you to stay with me”
“What are you up to?” She asked noticing the devious look he kept giving her.
“Nothing, I just want my wife to stay with me some more” he added innocently.
“Sorry but this wife of yours has to do some other things”
“Like what?”
“To charge my phone, take a bathe and get some rest. Remember, we are going to work tomorrow” She said and turn to leave but impulsively, she gave him a kiss on the cheek before leaving his room.
Pearl still had a smile on her face when she got to her room.
She took her charger and was about plugging it into her phone when the door open revealing Jerome.
” Why are you here? I told you to get some rest” She said, setting the phone aside.
“Have had enough cold showers to last me a lifetime, I won’t be doing that tonight” he said and walk towards her.
Curving his arm around her waist, he deepen his head and gave her a kiss.
A kiss which got them panting and yearning for more.
“Jerome” Pearl whispered which made him stop kissing her.
“Don’t you think we are going too fast…I mean…we just found out that we love each other, we should at least give each other some time to get to know more about one another”
“We don’t need that” he said and lifted her onto the bedside cabinet.
“We have all the time in the world to do that” He said as he feathered kisses down her cheek, her throat and lips.
“What matter is that I love you as much as you love me” he said huskily into her and not being able to resist, he bit her gently on the neck.
Jerome pulled down her zipper, baring her bre@st to his gaze.
“You are beautiful” he said and began suckling it like his life depends on it.
He pulled down her dress leaving her in just her p@nties which he took off as well.
“Take your clothes off, I want to see you too” Pearl whispered and immediately, Jerome’s clothe was discarded.
He move back into her arms, claiming her lips while her hands went all over his body.
“You drive me crazy” he muttered and took one bre@st into his mouth to suckle again.
Pearl who enjoyed everything he did to her gasp out in shock when she felt him possessing her.
The first th-ru_st was painful at first but she adjusted to his huge size and slowly, he began to th-ru_st into her.
They were both Mõ@ɲing like crazy when Jerome lifted her off the cabinet.
She wrap her legs around him while he th-ru_st deeper into her.
And when the moment came, when they finally got to heaven and came back.
Pearl clung onto Jerome’s neck, feeling shy while Jerome couldn’t help but to think her as cute.
“Still wanna take a bathe?” He asked and she gave a nod.
Still carrying her in his arms, he took her into the bathroom.
“Do you intend to bathe with me?” Pearl asked slowly.
“What do you think?”
“But we…Is it right for us to bathe together?” Pearl asked like the novice she is and Jerome body shook in laughter.
“My dear virgin wife, you have a lot to learn and the sooner we begin, the better for us” he said and turn on the tap.

<< MORNING ~ HOTEL >>
Devon cat walk majestically down the hall and stopped, when she got to the particular room.
Before she could press on the door bell, the door open.
“You are finally here, come in” Sebastian offered and Devon went in.
“I thought that you guys have forgotten about me? Afterall I told you about the existence of Pearl and asked for help in exchange but nothing has happen” Devon said as she took a seat.
“You really think so?”
“I know so. Pearl and Jerome are still together” she replied steely.
“They are, I made that happen after all”
“What do you mean by that?” Asked Devon who is doing her best to hold in her anger.
“I didn’t ask you to come here just to talk about Pearl and Jerome. I asked you to come because I need to do something for me” Sebastian said and that made Devon mad.
“Wh@ťěver you have to do, I suggest you do it alone ” she said as she stood up
“What makes you think you can boss me around? You called me here so I can do your bidding, Who the hell do you think you are?”
“I was wrong about you, I thought we could work together but you are just as dumb as your name is ” Sebastian’s insult made Devon more angry.
She raised her hand, prepared to slap him but he easily caught her hand.
“You made the wrong choice, lady” he said and let her hand go before holding onto her neck.
At that moment, Devon noticed the Tv that has been turn on ever since she arrive and what she saw got her eyes widening.
★ A twenty six year old worker known as Max Dennis was found dead in the storage room of King cosmetics company ★
“Shocked?” Sebastian asked as he let go of Devon who began coughing hard.
“Max I…is…dead” she said, holding onto her neck.
“Poor Max” Sebastian said, a smile lingering on his lips.
“Don’t tell you…did that to him?”,
“What do you think?” Sebastian shrug, looking so proud.
Devon scramble to her feet and head to the door but what he said next stop her from leaving.
“Leave this room and you will end up just like Max”
“It would have been good if you had just listen to me earlier but you even went as far as to try to hit me. Where should I start from? Should I begin with your parent, your mother’s death might just be a sudden fall and your father might….”.
“I will do wh@ťěver you want, don’t hurt my family” Devon plead, kneeling on the floor while tears run down her cheek.
“Don’t worry, I won’t hurt them as long as you do everything I say” he said and walk towards her.
He knelt in front of her and begin the task of wiping her tears.
“Max caused his own demise, am sure you will be a good girl and won’t be a problem right?” He asked and Devon nodded quickly.
“Now, what I need you to do is very important and it has to do with Jerome, think you can do it?”
“A…s…long as I…don’t have to ki||” Devon stammered.
“I won’t let you get blood on your lovely hands. Your task is very simple, I only need you to help me get Jerome…..”

<< JEROME RESIDENCE >>
Pearl woke up due to the singing of the birds outside.
She turned to see Jerome sleeping soundly beside her.
A smile left her lips as she remember the things that happen between them last night.
Jerome had taught a lot of things last night, things that made her want more.
Stop your dirty thoughts…she caution and made to get up, but a vice grip on her hand got her falling back on the bed.
“Where are you going?” He asked and tightened his arms around her.
“I need to charge my phone, I didn’t get to do it last night”
“Leave it” he said and kiss her shoulder blade.
“But we…”
“Let’s take a break today. No work, no phones, no distraction. Just me and you against the world” He said and kept feathering kisses down her shoulder.
“But your work, you are the boss and….”
“Opal know what to do if am not around. She can handle it all and besides, it’s just for a day” He insist and finally, she gave in.
He pulled her on top of her and pulled her head down to give her a kiss.
“Ride me, baby” he ordered brusquely and she willingly comply.

<< KING COSMETICS COMPANY>>
For the tenth time that morning, Larry tried calling Pearl but her number won’t go through.
“Did she pick?” Larry asked Opal who shook her head in return.
“Why don’t we do this, you stay here and handle things while I go look for them at home” Larry said and got into the elevator which whisk him downstairs.
As soon as he got outside, he was swamp by reporters who needed answers as to why a dead body was found in their company.
The security men manage to get him out of their midst unharmed.
Larry was in the confine of his car when he saw Cassie arrive.
He watched her try to go into the company but she was pushed back by a reporter who thought her to be one of them trying to get in first.
“Stay in line lady! We came here first, you can’t just come late and try to sneak in” The man said as he push Cassie away once again.
Cassie who had fallen flat on the floor was about to pull off her heel to hit on the darn man face when she felt someone arms,lifting her up.
“Are you okay?” Larry asked and she gave a nod, wondering where he came from.
Suddenly, he lift her into his arms startling everyone around them.
“Do me a favour and get out of the way” Larry said to the man who had push Cassie earlier and immediately, he and the other reporters made way for them.
“Am okay, Larry. I can walk” Cassie said as most of the employees were looking at them but Larry wasn’t listening to her.
It wasn’t until they got to the cloak room that he set her down.
“I told you that am….”
“You are not! Your hand is bruised” Larry said and Cassie stared at the teeny weeny cut on her hand.
“This is nothing, it’s just something I have to dip into water to….” A gasp left her lips when Larry took hold of her hand to suck on the blood.
Strange feelings went through Cassie at that moment and immediately, she pulled her hand away.
“You shouldn’t do that, I told you that I will cleanse it” she said not daring to look at him.
“Then let me help you cleanse it” he said and that got her looking at him.
“Why are you worried about me and don’t you have something to do? The company is going through crises and all you can think of is my injury”
“You are right. The company is going through a lot now and all I can see is you” Larry said and pulled out his phone to call Opal.
“Something came up, go to Jerome and tell him everything going on” Larry said and ended the call.
“If you are less busy then am not. I need to get to my desk or I will be sanc….”
“Shut up and get over here” he said and claim her lips.

EVENING ~ PARK
“It’s so good to be out together like this” Jerome said as he and Pearl took a stroll around the park.
“Are you that happy to skip work?” Asked Pearl.
“As long as I am with you, I don’t mind” Jerome said and gave her a kiss which she returned fervently.
Just then two ladies walk by and they couldn’t help but to hear their conversation.
🗣️ “The dead body was found in King cosmetics company “
🗣️ “But how did he die there?”
🗣️ “Who knows but this is giving me chills, I don’t think am going to ever buy king product again”
Jerome and Pearl stared at each other questioningly before going after the ladies, who told them everything and also showed them the news.
“We need to go” Jerome said as they went back to his car.
He drove down to King Cosmetic company where he saw Larry waiting.
Luckily for them, the reporters have left since Larry thr_@ten to call the cops on them if they didn’t.
“Thank God you are finally here, have been trying to reach you but that doesn’t matter, hope you’ve heard about Max’s death and….”
“Mr Jerome King” a bald looking man accompanied by two young men called.
“Yes, what can I do for you?”
“You are under arrest for the death of Max Dennis” The bald man said as one of his men put a handcuff on Jerome…..
