Jane had a smile on her face as she talked to Joyce on the phone.
“I’m glad you listened to me, Joyce. I already forgave Rodolfo since he already asked for my forgiveness. You both are expecting a baby, so you should stick together”
“You’re right Jane, I have gone to back to him. What about Julianna? Any news about her?”
“Not yet, Grace and her colleagues are still on the lookout for her” Jane said.
Lucas entered the room and wrapped his hands around her from behind, and Jane let out a blushing smile.
“I hope she’s found soon, so that this whole chaos would end”
“I hope so too Joyce. Thanks for calling anyways, see you around” Jane said. She ended the call and wrapped her hands around Lucas’s neck.
“Where’s my handsome bestie and boyfriend going? You’re dressed up”
“I am going for a medical conference meeting. You wanna go with me?” He asked, caressing her face.
“Nah. I won’t understand anything being said, because it’s based on medical stuffs. I will be at home waiting for you, but don’t take long ok”
“Fine I won’t. I will come home on time, so I can prepare you a very nice meal”
“I like the sound of that” Jane said, bitting her lower lips and Lucas smiled.
“I will be home soon” He said, trying to leave but Jane held his hand.
“You’re going to leave just like that?” She asked making a cute face and Lucas laughed.
“I love you, Jane” He said and kissed her lips.
“Is this okay?” He asked, with a smile.
“Much better than nothing” Jane said and they both looked at each other and laughed.

≤ ADRIAN’S MANSION ≈ SAME DAY ≥
Adrian came downstairs and sees Debra sitting on the sofa, with her head buried on thighs.
“I thought you were at work?” He asked, and Debra stood up from the sofa.
“I just wanted to take a break from work”
“What about Isa?”
“She already went to school. Xiaomi and Kayla were here earlier, so they left together” Debra answered.
“Oh, I see” He muttered, looking at her.
“Do you have something to say to me?” She asked and Adrian cleared his throat.
“Well about the divorce stuff… ”
“You have really made up your mind to divorce me, haven’t you?” Debra asked in a low voice, wearing a sad face.
“Let me finish, Debra. About the divorce, I.. I won’t push through with it anymore”
“Really? Why?”
“What’s with the question? Should I go ahead with the divorce?”
“No! I was just curious to know why you no longer want to push through with the divorce” She said with a smile.
“I just want to give you a second chance to change. I don’t want you to turn into something you’re not. I’m going to try my best to love you like I used to” Adrian said, and Debra hugged him.
“Thank you Adrian. I promise I am going to change for the better, and I will apologize to Jane as well” She said, and Adrian smiled lightly before breaking the hug.
“I hope you do, Debra, and I’m sure she’s going to forgive you”
“I will Adrian. There’s something you have to know, Adrian”
“What could that be, Debra?”
“Your mom was the reason why you and Jane had to break up fifteen years ago. I won’t deny that I wasn’t part of it though, but she was the one who paid that lady to sedate Jane. She’s behind everything that has happened to Jane, including Jane’s company exploding”
“What!”
“I’m sorry I hid it from you. I was just mad at Jane, that’s why I didn’t tell you, but I never wanted that to happen”
“My mom is really evil”
“There’s more. I noticed your mom has been going back to Dashie countless times”
“Dashie? What for?” Adrian asked.

Beatrice came out from the house and sees Ethan standing by the door, shivering. He has spent the entire night outside Beatrice’s house.
“Beatrice” He muttered her name.
Beatrice hissed at him and was about closing the door, but Ethan held it. “Beatrice I’m sorry for what I did to you. If I can go back to the pass, I’d correct the mistake I made. Xavier and Xiaomi said they’d forgive me only if you forgive me. I know I have wronged you, but find a place in your heart to forgive me” He said shivering.
“I don’t want to talk to you, Ethan, so leave!” She said trying to closed the door, but Ethan keeps preventing her from doing so.
In anger, she left the door and walked out of the house. She hasn’t walked up to ten steps when the falling sound of someone stopped her from walking further.
She slowly turned behind her and sees Ethan on the ground and her heart flew out of her chest.
“Ethan!!!” She screamed his name rushing to where he was.

≤ HOSPITAL ≥
Ethan slowly opened his eyes and sees Beatrice sitting beside him. “Beatrice” He muttered her name, but Beatrice slapped him.
“Are you a coward? Or did you used your brain in exchange for money? Why on earth did you spend the night outside my house when it was raining!!!”
“I…I just wanted to talk to you and the kids” He muttered.
“Even so, Ethan! Do you know scared I was when you fainted earlier? I thought something bad will happen to you!!!” Beatrice yelled at him, crying.
“I’m sorry, Beatrice. I’m sorry for causing you so much pain. I understand that you and I won’t work because of what I did to you” He said, sniffling and Beatrice slapped him again.
“And who told you that?”
“You did” He answered, touching his cheek.
“I am mad at you for what you did to me, but that doesn’t mean I have stopped loving you. You should give me time to decide when to forgive you, and when I’m at it, don’t even think about getting sick or spending the night outside, understood”
“I do” Ethan said smiling and Beatrice slapped him for the third time.
“Stop smiling. I didn’t ask you to smile, so close that small set of teeth that you have” Beatrice ordered and Ethan closed his teeth immediately.

≤ SOME DAYS LATER ≈ DASHIE ≥
“Someone please help! She’s no longer breathing!” Stephanie said in a loud voice, shedding crocodile tears.
The four men who were in charge for watching them entered the room, dropping their guns. They were four in number.
“What happened here?” One of them asked.
“Ma. Roseline is no longer breathing. I think she’s dying” Stephanie said, crying.
“What about Julianna?”
“She escape through the bathroom little window” Stephanie said, and the four men rushed inside the bathroom.
They were still looking around the bathroom when Julianna used the plate they used in serving them earlier to hit one of the men’s head, and since she was good at taekwondo, it took just few minutes to bring them down.
“Wow, you weren’t joking when you said you’re good at fighting? How come you got kidnapped?” Stephanie asked, cleaning the tears she shed earlier.
“I was caught off guard, and you weren’t bad yourself” She said, and Stephanie flaunted her hair.
“That’s why I’m in a rising star in the world of acting”
“Your idea was a success, what’s next?” Roseline asked.
Julianna walked towards to the four men who were already laying unconscious on the floor and began to search their pockets, until she found the keys to the main gate.
“We can be able to leave this place” She said, showing them the key, and Stephanie smiled.

Grace is seen walking around the street of Dashie town, showing them a picture of Julianna and Stephanie.
“Have you seen these two ladies around here?” She asked.
“No I haven’t” This was the answers she has been receiving for the past two hours.
Grace sighed and took off her jacket, because she was feeling hot inside, and that’s why she saw Craig talking to a lady with a smile on his face.
She furrowed her eyebrows before walking up to them.
“Miss, I think you should focused more on selling your rice cakes instead of talking to a guy” She said, jealously and Craig looked at her.
“What’s your problem if I talk to him?” The rice cake seller said, and Grace scoffed in annoyance.
“How dare a little rat like you ask me such a question?” Grace said, trying to hit her, but Craig took her hand and walked away.
“Let go of me, Craig, before I flipped you off my shoulders” She said and Craig let go of her.
“Where you planning on hitting an innocent girl? I was just buying rice cakes from her”
“Really? And you were smiling like she accepted to be your girlfriend” Grace said, sarcastically.
“What’s so wrong in smiling at other girls?”
“Everything Craig! You’re trying to win my heart and yet you smile at other girls. Bravo Craig” She said clapping her hands.
“Is this a sign of jealousy?” He asked, smiling.
“Jealousy my foot! I’m not jealous okay, I just want you to focus on me rather than talking to other girls, or else I won’t allow you to court me anymore”
“Don’t feel insecure, Grace. Even if I smile at other girls, you’re the one my heart belong to”
“Who said I was insecure?” She muttered, smiling lightly and Craig caressed her hair, smiling.
She got a text message and her eyes widened after she read the message.
“Craig, take a look at this?” She said showing him the message on her phone screen.

≤ LOS ANGELES ≈ ADRIAN’S MANSION ≥
“You want to throw a party?” Rebecca asked.
“Yes Mom. Adrian said he won’t divorce me anymore, so I want to celebrate about it, and I will be inviting Jane too”
“Why?”
“For her to see that Adrian belongs to me” Debra said, smiling.
“She’s not going to come”
“I already sent her an invitation. She will be at the party. I want you to be at the party as well”
“Sure I be there” Rebecca said with a worried look on her face as she called her men in Dashie, but they weren’t answering the phone”
“Is everything okay, mom. You look worried?” Debra asked.
“Everything is ok” She said and Debra smiled at her.

≤ AUSPICIOUS DAY OF THE PARTY ≥
Jane sighed as she looked around the party hall. “You shouldn’t have pleasured me to come here, Lucas. I and Debra h@ťě each other”
“She invited you here, Jane. It’d be rude if you turned down her invitation” Lucas said and kissed her lightly.
“Jane you came” Debra said approaching her, with her hand on Adrian’s arm.
“You sent an invitation card, and I just wanted to return it to you”
“Don’t be mean Jane, are you sad that you couldn’t be with Adrian anymore?”
“Debra watch your tongue. I’m sorry, Jane” Adrian said.
“It’s fine Adrian. Listen Debra if you invited me here to show off Adrian to me, I’m going to tell you this. I’m not move by it, because I don’t love him anymore. I knew it was a mistake coming here” Jane said and walked away, but she bumped into Rebecca.
“Look who will have here, Jane Meyers. Are you sad that Adrian now belongs to Debra? Is that why you’re leaving in embarrassment?” Rebecca asked, laughing.
“You are the one who should be embarrassed, Rebecca, because you look like a monkey in your make up”
“How dare you call me a monkey?” Rebecca asked, raising her hand to slap her.
“Don’t even dare use that filthy hands of yours on my daughter” Roseline said, walking inside the hall with Stephanie and Julianna.
Jane’s eyes almost popped out from its socket when she saw her mom.
“M-mom?” She muttered still in shock.
“How did you three get out?” Rebecca asked, surprisedly.
“It was all a team work” Stephanie said.
“I already know your dark side, mom. Debra had to throw a party, so you can be here, and Lucas pressured Jane to be at this party as well” Adrian said.

≤ FIVE DAYS BEFORE THE PARTY ≈ DASHIE, NIGHT≥
Roseline, Julianna and Stephanie could be seen running on the streets of Dashie after escaping, when a moving car almost hit them and they screamed falling to the ground.
Adrian and Debra came out from the car and they were shocked to see the three of them, especially Roseline, whom everyone believed was dead.

“We came to Dashie because Debra said my mom has been coming here constantly. We were on our way to her warehouse, when we almost ran y’all over. The path you came out from leads to my mom’s warehouse, what were you three doing there?” Adrian asked.
“Your mom had us locked up” Julianna said.
“Locked up? Why?” Debra asked.
“To covered up her secrets. Your mom has done lots of evil things. Rebecca locked me up here, because I chose to protect my daughter. She also had your dad locked up as well” Roseline said.
“My dad? He is dead already”
“That’s what Rebecca made you believe. She locked him up because Jane is his daughter, and she didn’t want you to know that you were adopted” Roseline said.
“What the heck are you saying? I’m so confused” Adrian said, making a puzzle face.
“Ma. Roseline will explain everything to you once all of this is over, but we have to come up with a plan on how to stop Rebecca. She won’t back out from making Jane suffer for being the heiress to the McBroom’s fortune” Julianna said.
“I have an idea” Debra said, and they all looked at her.

≤ THREE DAYS BEFORE THE PARTY ≈ LOS ANGELES≥
“Are you joking right now?” Lucas asked Adrian, after he explained everything to him.
“I’m not joking, Lucas. This is the truth, and my mom needs to be stopped before she does something to Jane. If she’s capable of locking up my dad for years, doing something wicked to Jane will be so easy for her”
“Where’s your dad?” Lucas asked
“If truly he is alive, I might have an idea on where he might be. Debra will be throwing a party, and I need you to bring Jane to be the party. I also want you to send a message to Grace that we will be needing her and colleagues’ help” Adrian said.
“Leave Jane and Grace to me, Adrian”

≤ THE PARTY ≥
Rebecca clenched her fists as she looked at Debra in anger.
“How dare you betray me, Debra?”
“I didn’t betray you, mom. I just want to stop being bad” Debra said. As for Jane, she was just speechless and confused about what was going on around her
“Your time of reign is over mom. You’re going to pay for your sins in jail” Adrian said and Rebecca laughed like a witch.
“Never!!!” She said in a loud voice, trying to escape, but Grace and her colleagues entered the hall.
“Don’t try to escape, Rebecca, because you’re surrounded by my team and I” She said, and they all pointed their guns at her, at the same time.
