“Am pregnant”repeated Loveth.
Michael stared at Loveth with shock as he studied her face expression to be sure she wasn’t joking.
“Sir,your phone has been ringing unstoppably.”said a secretary tapping Michael while he jolted out of his thoughts.
He hadn’t even picked the call in the first place nor as he met with Loveth.He was lost in thoughts thinking about what discussion she wanted to have with him.
“Hello”he said as he picked the call and he was surprised to hear Brian’s voice at the other end instead of Loveth.
“Am at your company’s cafeteria,Let’s meet”Brian said at the other end and he rushed into the elevator heading to the cafeteria.
He got to the cafeteria and met Brian and Loveth sitting side by side.
“Hey,what’s going on?”Michael asked impatiently as he sat down ignoring Loveth.
Brian sipped his juice before facing Michael beaming happily suddenly his face expression turned sad.Michael became worried as he wondered what caused his change of expression.
“I have a news about your sister but am not sure whether it is a good news or a bad news.”Brian said and Michael sighed urging him to go on.
“I found your sister but she is a very dangerous assassin popularly known as the ki||ing angel. It seems like Sylvester has been using her for his evil deeds and her identity is still unknown since no one has seen her face.”said Brian and Michael sighed sadly.
He just wanted to see his sister regardless of how dangerous she was.He didn’t care about anything else,the fact that she was alive was enough for him.
“Do you have any idea of her current location?”Michael asked and Brian nodded affirmatively.
“She is currently on a mission but guess what her mission is?”Brian asked.
“Cut the crap,Brian and tell me where she is”Michael said impatiently.
“She is on a mission to eliminate Charles,your boss.Her location is surely somewhere close to your boss.”said Brian and Michael sighed.
“There are so many ladies around his boss but how do you expect me to know her amongst them?I told you I have never seen her before”Michael said in frustration.
“According to her methods,she is probably closest to your boss so it is up to you to find her”Brian said and Michael nodded.
“Thank you very much,Brian.O feel so indebted to you”said Michael and Brian smiled.
“You can pay me back”said Brian and Michael looked at him questioningly.
“My naughty sister,Loveth,wants to attend her ex’s wedding with her best friend tomorrow so she needs your help.”said Brian and Michael diverted his attention to Loveth.
“How?”asked Michael as he stared at her.
“I need you to act like my fiancee”Loveth said and Michael chuckled.
“And what makes you think I will agree to do that?Have you forgotten I am not your spec?”said Michael with raised eyebrows and Loveth huffed.
“I will leave you both to talk.I have to get back to work”said Brian as he left the table.
“Please,you are my best option”pleaded Loveth and Michael smiled.
“Why do you want me to act in the first place?You could just skip the wedding if you don’t want you.It is not mandatory you attend”said Michael and Loveth sighed.
“I want to show him that I moved on without him and I am happy with another man”said Loveth and Michael nodded thoughtfully.
“Why will you want me to pretend to be your fiancee when I can actually be your fiancee?”asked Michael and Loveth huffed.
“There’s no way am going to date you,Michael so forget about it.”said Loveth.
“Really?Well that’s the only condition,which I can follow you to the party”said Michael and Loveth sighed.
“Do you really have to go this far?I don’t have much time.”said Loveth and Michael’s eyes softened.
“You wouldn’t give me a chance,Loveth.This is the only chance I get to have you to myself.”Michael said staring at her.
“So I will give you time to think about my offer.The party is tomorrow remember.”said Michael as he stood up.
Loveth watched him and she didn’t know what to do.She likes him but she wasnt willing to date him at least not with the way they met.
Yes,she already remembered everything but she decided to keep it a secret from Michael. Though she explained everything to Brian.
She didn’t h@Ε₯Δ him for not coming to her on the day of her accident though she was a little mad at him but seeing the way he cared for her throughout her stay in the hospital.She knew he regretted his actions.
“Time is 4:00pm tomorrow.Pick me at home,don’t be late.”Loveth said as she stood up and Michael turned in amazement.
She just agreed but he also had a task at hand which was to find his sister.
