” Theo, do you know him. Have you guys met before?” Melissa asked breaking the silence.
” Of course, it’s all began when we were in college…..”
★ Flashback to years back★
Theodore and Ivan were together in their room, they were both playing video games when a girl came in.
” Hey babe.” Fiona ( the girl) said as she walk to Theodore.
They hugged and kissed before they disengaged.
” Oh God, oppression.” Ivan said and rolled his eyes.
” You should get your babe too.” Theodore said.
” No thanks.” Ivan said and they laughed.
” Babe, am really hungry right now.” Fiona said
” I will get you something, stay right here.” Theodore said and peck her lips before standing up.
As soon as Theo left the room, Fiona started coming closer to Ivan.
” Hey, what’s wrong?” Ivan said and shifted back.
” Don’t you like what you see huh.” Fiona said seductively and wink at him.
” Seriously? You are my friend’s girlfriend, do you think I will betray him that way?” Ivan said and scoff.
” Oh Common, I don’t like him. I like you more.” Fiona said shifting more closer.
That instance Theodore came in and Fiona shifted back immediately.
” And.. here it is.” Theodore said placing the food down.
” I will get going.” Ivan said and stood up. They did some manly shake before they left the house.
The next day, Fiona came to visit Ivan. The moment Ivan opened the door, she came in Immediately.
” You! What are you doing here?” Ivan feeling angry already.
” I came to visit you, don’t you see it huh?” Fiona said, she was actually wearing an exposed dress.
” Get out Fiona.” Ivan said pointing his hand towards the door.
” No, I won’t. I am here for you and no one else.” Before Ivan could retaliate, Fiona pushed him on the couch and slept on him.
” I don’t like Theodore, I like you. I only agree to him cause of you.” Fiona said while she kept rubbing his chest seductively.
” Fiona…” Ivan was about to speak when he saw Theodore.
Theodore’s eyes widened looking at the scene in front of him, Fiona’s words kept ringing in his head.
” Theo, listen to me. It’s really not what you are thinking.” Ivan said walking towards him.
Theodore didn’t wait for any explanation before storming out of house.
” Why didn’t you lock the door babe.” Fiona said.
” Get out you Ɓîtçh before I lose my temper. Out.” Ivan yelled and she stood up at that instance and left the house.
Ivan rough his hair frustratingly, he thought he should give him some time before going to explain fully.
After three days, Ivan went to Theodore’s house. Immediately he opened the door, his jaw dropped and his eyes widened.
Fiona was laying in her own pool of blood while Theo held a harmful object.
” Theo, what have you done?” Ivan said.
” It is all because of you, no one ever love me all because of you. What do you have that I don’t huh? I h@ťě you.” Theo said.
” Am calling the police Theo, am so sorry. You just commit a murder, no no I should involve the police.” Ivan said and brought out his phone and dialled police number.
” Yes, call the police. The most honest man, my life is worthless anyways. I don’t care.” Theodore yelled.
In no time, the police arrived and they took Theo away while they took Fiona’s dead body into the ambulance.
★ Flashback end★
” How on earth did you escape the prison.” Ivan said angrily.
” You made me ki|| the one I love and now am taking revenge.” Theo said as he brought out his gun.
” Your business is with me not Ivy, let her go.” Ivan said.
” No no, Melissa told me something is about to bloom among you two and I won’t allow that.” Theo said.
” Melissa? How could you, I trusted you. Why?” Ivan yelled and Melissa flinched.
They heard the police siren and Melissa was already shaking.
” There’s no escape route for you Theo, you escaped jail. You are wanted there anyways, it is time to go back.” Ivan said and smirk.
” Not until you are dead.” Theo said and brought out his gun, and the next thing was the sound of gun.
Ivan’s eyes widened as the scene in front of him.
” I…Ivy!” He watched as Ivy went down.
Ivy has just been shot, The police came in and arrest both Melissa and Theo. Melissa kept screaming for forgiveness but they fell on deaf ears.
” Ivy, Ivy. Look at me.” Ivan said as he held Ivy in his arms.
” Ivan..sir.” Ivy managed to say.
” No no Ivy, keep your eyes open. You can’t die like this, no you can’t.” Ivan said shaking her vigorously.
” I.. hope you like my gift for.. your birthday.” Ivy said.
” Yes, yes. I do, now shut up and keep your eyes opened. You stubborn girl, why do you have to collect the bullet for me, why.” Ivan said as a tears trickle down his eyes.
” Don’t cry Cold ice, cold people don’t cry right? I… I will miss you..” Ivy said.
” Stop saying such things, you can’t leave me alone this way. Why do you have to come into my life this way huh, why!!” Ivan said.
” And now that am here…I won’t leave you, I will be with you always because I… I..” Ivy said as she gasp for breath.
” Ivy!!”
The police came in as they took Ivy inside the ambulance.
” Stay with me Ivy, you have a lot of confession to make. I will continue to be cold if you don’t wake up, I will yell at you.. wake up.” Ivan yelled as they Start to treat her in the ambulance.
★ Back at the mansion★
The guests already left after dropping their well wishes and gifts for Ivan.
” I really hope Ivy is safe.” Mrs Aurthur said.
” I really hope so.” Melody said.
They all prayed for their return back.
After a while, the door opened revealing Ivan. He has blood stain on his white shirt, he had come home to change after getting to the hospital with Ivy.
He already paid for the commence of her treatment immediately.
” Ivan sir, Ivan sir, where is Ivy. What condition is she in?” Melody asked.
” And what’s this blood stain on you, please say something.” Sophia included.
” Ivy had been shot, I can’t tell you all what really happened. I came home to change.” Ivan said and went upstairs immediately.
” What!!” Sophia and Melody exclaimed.
” We should go to the hospital with Ivan, how on earth did this happen.” Sophia said.
Ivan came back already dressed in a black shirt and trouser.
” Ivan, we will go with you.” Sophia said and Ivan nodded.
” We too.” Bryan and Noah said too.
” I will come too.” Louisa also said.
” No Louisa, stay at home with mom and dad.” Ivan said and she nodded.
They left the mansion for the hospital immediately.
★ Hospital★
They arrived at the hospital and waited for the doctor to come out.
” Ivy, you have to survive. We have many things to talk about, don’t you dare die.” Ivan muttered as a tear escape his eyes again.
Ivy’s granny ran in the hospital too, Ivan called her earlier from Ivy’s phone.
” Where’s my grandchild, where is she?” Granny said.
“Stay calm granny, we are waiting for the doctor.” Melody said as Sophia and her held her grandma.
The doctor came out and Ivan sprang up.
” Doctor, is she fine?” Ivan said.
” We successfully removed the bullet but…”
” But what?”
” We couldn’t save her.” The doctor said and Ivan’s hands dropped.
Bryan, Noah, Sophia, Melody and Granny just couldn’t believe their ears as Granny lose consciousness.
