Ivan then stood up with her help and went to open the door.
“Boss.” Melissa called happily but that was short-lived when she saw Ivy.

“Sir, Ivy?” Melissa said and glared hard at Ivy.
“What’s the problem Melissa, seems you have forgotten she is my personal…”
“Yes, yes I know.” Melissa cut in angrily, she was already boiling in anger.
Ivan raised his brows at her, Melissa realized what she did and she quickly apologize.
“Am sorry sir.” Melissa said and bowed her head.
“Aren’t I giving you a lot of chances, you are here in my house today not for you to start noticing everyone. Just focus on your job, got that.” Ivan said yelling the last part and both Melissa and Ivy flinch.
“Sorry sir.” Melissa apologized.
Ivan then walk back to the sofa and sat down.
“Inform one of the maids, to get me a cup of coffee.” Ivan said and Ivy nodded leaving the two.
“Did you bring the file I told you to bring?” Ivan said and Melissa nodded walking to him.
“This is it.” Melissa said and handed it over to him.
” You only need to sign on them and Mr. Cole asked if you can create time for you two to discuss.” Melissa said.
“Tell him next week and make sure these markets don’t go down.” Ivan said.
“Okay sir, and the public has been wanting to see you.” Melissa said.
“I don’t have time for that, is that all.” Ivan said and Melissa nodded, Ivy walked in then with the coffee.
“Here sir.” Ivy said and handed it over to her which he collected.
Ivan drank out of it and spit it out immediately right on Ivy’s cloth. Melissa smirks at this.
“What.. what is this?” Ivan asked.
“It’s..umm.. the..”
“Stop stammering and answer my question.” Ivan half yelled.
“I only tried to make it but it’s turns out bad, am sorry sir.” Ivy said with a teary eyes.
“Which maid was there with you when you prepare this.” Ivan asked.
“Umm, she is in the kitchen. But please sir don’t punish her please, it’s my fault punish me instead.” Ivy said.
“Call her right here.” Ivan said and Ivy knows better not to disobey him.
She went to the kitchen and came back with the maid with her.
“She prepared this?” Ivan said referring to Ivy.
“Ye..yes sir.” The maid said.
“You are suspended for a week.” Ivan said and the maid went down straight on her knees.
Melissa glared h@ťěfully at Ivy, she went besides her.
“You have just put someone’s job at sake, what more will you do huh?” Melissa whispered to her, Ivy didn’t respond.
She is really feeling bad for the poor girl.
“Please sir, don’t do that. Punish me instead.” Ivy said.
“Yes I will punish you, but first her.” Ivan said referring to the maid.
“Sir, please think about this logically. Since Ivy had told her she wants to make it, she wouldn’t say no because she knows she is your PA, it’s only Ivy’s fault here.” Melissa said and Ivy looked at her.
“You’re right Melissa, after five years of working with me you know me so well. Leave.” Ivan yelled and the maid scram off.
“You see, I just told him once and he heed to me. Now face the consequences.” Melissa whispered again.
“Ivy, in my room now and Melissa I will sign the file now and don’t forget what I told you after that leave.” Ivan said and she nodded.
He signed the file and left to his room.
“Why are you doing this huh, for what?” Ivy asked.
“Don’t you understand, I don’t like you being with him. I don’t even like you at all.” Melissa said.
“But why?”
“Isn’t it clear enough. I have been working with him for years and no girl wouldn’t fall for him. He is handsome and famous.” Melissa said.
“Oh, so this is the reason. I am not even interested in him just leave me alone please.” Ivy said.
“How can I believe that, I will make sure you leave him alone.” Melissa said and picked up the file and left the house.
Ivy sighs before leaving to his room.
★ The Restaurant★
Noah and Melody haven’t talk to each other ever since the incident. They just do their separately.
Melody feels guilty everytime she sees, even other other workers have noticed this.
” Hey, what’s up with you and Noah?” A female staff asked her.
” Uh, nothing.” Melody said.
” No it’s clear, you and Noah do talk even though we all know you don’t like him.” The girl said.
Melody felt more guilty hearing that, she left wh@ťěver she was doing and went out of the restaurant.
Noah wanted to go after her but the stopped her.
” Just let her be, am sure she is feeling guilty.” She said.
Noah sighs and went back to work.
★ Royal’s club★
The only place Melody could think of going is to Sophia.
She entered the club and the first thing that hit her ear is the blazing sound of the music.
She walk to Sophia’s table and Sophia was surprised to see her.
” Hey Melody, what are you doing here?” Sophia asked.
” Umm Sophia, just wanted to clear my head.” Melody said and sat down.
” Are you sure?” Sophia asked and she nodded.
” Should we just call Ivy over?” Melody said.
” Yes, good idea. It’s been long we have seen each other.” Sophia said and gave Ivy a call.
★ Aurthur’s Mansion★
Ivy stand in front of Ivan who was busy with his laptop.
He has refused to attend to her and left her standing. Just then her phone rang, she looks at Ivan before picking it up.
” Hi Sophia.” Ivy said on the phone.
” Hey Ivy, wanna come to the club tonight. Melody is with me.” Sophia said.
Ivy looked at Ivan, seeing his reaction shows that he doesn’t want her to go.
” Umm, sorry Sophia. I won’t..”
” We are going.” Ivan told her.
* We?* She said in her head.
” I will be there.” Ivy said and Sophia responded before ending the call.
” Sir you..”
” Your punishment comes later, we are going to your friends.” Ivan said and she smiled.
But it faded when she remembered he said’we’.
” But sir, what do you mean we?” Ivy asked and Ivan looked at her.
” Do you want to go or not.” Ivan said coldly.
” No no, we are going. Thank you sir.” Ivy said and he nodded.
” Leave.” Ivan said and she bowed slightly before leaving.
” He is acting different.” Ivy said when she reached out.
She went to the living room and gave her Granny a call.
★ Night★
Ivy and Ivan got ready and was ready to leave. They met Louisa and Ma. Rose in the living room.
” Where are you two off to?” Ma. Rose asked seeing them dressed up.
” We’re going to see my friend.” Ivy said.
” But you two aren’t well now and besides Ivan you are really going with her.” Ma. Rose said.
” We are fine now.” Ivan and Ivy said in unison.
Louisa smiled looking at them.
Ivan and Ivy looked at each other and Ivan rolled his eyes and look away.
” I am fine and I can’t let her go alone, so we will back soon. Louisa, I don’t want to meet up not sleeping yet when I come back.” Ivan said.
“Okay brother, have fun. Bye Ivy.” Louisa said and Ivy waved back.
They left the house and got into the car, they arrived the club soon.
They were about to enter when Bryan collided with them at the entrance.
” You? Evening.” Ivy said smiling.
” Hey Ivy.” Bryan said smiling, they were smiling at each other.
” I called him here. I can’t go anywhere with you alone, and I am not angry with him again.” Ivan said and they both hugged.
” It’s nice.” Ivy muttered.
They entered the club together and Ivan and Bryan sat down somewhere while Ivy went to meet her friends.
Sophia ran away to the restroom immediately. Ivy and Melody looked at each other in confusion.
“What’s wrong?” Melody and Ivy asked in unison.
