Chapter nineteen
“You are joking right! Your won’t really go that far?”She asked as she stared at Chris.
” I told you already that am not the guy you thought me to be. Am someone who gets what he wants in wh@ťěver way and you will be giving me that” he said as he moved towards her
“I won’t! I won’t do it Chris”She said
“Then I will just have to ki|| Alfred” he said as he pulled out his phone calling a certain someone.
“She refused. You know what to do”He said as he switched off the phone.
“What did you just do?”Fannie asked
“Just gave the order that will end Alfred life”He replied.
“No! You can’t do that ! Stop them Chris. Stop them”She yelled as she clutched his clothe.
“That’s impossible my love”He replied as he took hold of her chin.
“Please! I will do what you say. I will do what you want. Just don’t hurt Alfred”She begged and he smiled before calling again.
“Stop it but be on standby. He isn’t fully free. Once she gets difficult. I will give you the order to finish him”He said as he ended the call
“Now my darling”He said pulling Fannie into his arms.
“Make me feel like am your fiance” he said as he tried to kiss her but she moved away.
“What I feel right now is disgust. thr_@tening me to accept to being your bride won’t make me want you Chris” Fannie said as the tears poured and he let go of her.
“Fine. Let’s wait till after the wedding. I will make you regret your words but for now. This will do”He said as he kissed her taking her by surprise.
She managed to pull away after a lot of struggle and he pulled her into the house.
THE NEXT DAY
Alfred stood in his hotel while waiting for Fannie call but there was none.
He tried calling her but she wasnt picking. He was about to leave for the Van house when he got a call from Dora.
“I thought you had it all fixed yesterday”Dora asked
“What are you talking about?”
“Fannie! Why is she here and not there with you?”Dora asked.
“What do you mean?”
“She has decide to marry Chris and when I tried to ask her about you. She wouldn’t say a thing. What are you going to do now?”Dora asked.
“Am on my way” Alfred said as he end the call heading to the van Mansion.

“You look beautiful child” John and Chris mother said to Fannie who looked beautiful in her gown.
“Thank you”Fannie replied as she stood starring at herself in the mirror.
“I hope you make my son happy. I will leave you alone to finish”She said as she left the room.
“I still don’t get why you have agreed to marry him” Dora said behind her.
“You don’t need to know”Fannie replied.
“What’s going on Fannie? Just what happened yesterday?”Dora asked.
“Nothing happened and stop trying to meddle with me. You are becoming annoying”Fannie said wanting to hurt Dora.
“Really? Is that what you think?”Dora asked.
“Yes and It’s best that you leave. I want to be alone”Fannie said.
“Fine! Do what you want. I don’t care anymore”Dora said as she walked out of the room.
Fannie felt sad hurting Dora but she had no choice. Chris had made it clear that she had to make everyone believe that all is well and if Dora had kept on pressing she would have told her the truth putting Alfred in danger. She didn’t want that. She thought as the door opened again and two men walked into the room.
“Who are you?”She asked as she saw them through the mirror.
“You aren’t allowed to ask that”They said as they moved towards her covering her head with a hood and pulling her out of the room.
Dawn knew she was being kidnapped but she didn’t know who it was. Could it be Chris! She thought as she felt them push her into a car.
A car which had someone in it. She had to fight. She just can’t let Chris take her away. She thought as she began to scramble to open the door. Hitting the hands that was now pulling her
Through the fight. She managed to peel off her hood and she was surprised to see Alfred sitting beside her.
“Just what are you doing?”She asked.
“Kidnapping you”He said as he urshered the driver to leave the Van Residence.
