Immediately Mrs Gonzàlez opened the door, Miguel fell into her office.

Seems like, he was leaning on the door when they opened it, so…

“f_ck!!” He groaned as he landed on the floor. Mars Gonzàlez laughed.

Yolanda eyes widened in wonderment, what sort of family is this?? She thought staring in amusement.

She trying so much not to laugh but she couldn’t, she laughed… She f_cking laughed.

For the first time in how many years. Miguel and Mrs Gonzàlez paused what they were doing to hear her melodious laughter.

It sounded so nice to hear.

She stopped laughing to see them staring at her and her face flushed in embarrassment.

“Please laugh again, your laugh is like music to my ears.” Miguel said staring at her, dreamily.

“You silly son of mine, what are you doing here??” Mrs Gonzàlez questioned, with her hands akimbo.

“Mom… She’s my wife, I have every right to see her.” He whined standing up. He went to stand beside her but Mrs Gonzàlez dragged Yolanda to herself.

‘Oh God!’ Yolanda cried inwardly.

“She’s not your wife yet, wait till you two get married.” His mom retorted.

“No mom, she’s my wife… Go meet your husband.” He dragged her to his side.

“How dare you?? This boy you now talk back at me… Give her to me!” She yelled and dragged her to side.

“Mom?? Why are dragging my wife with me??” He questioned and dragged her, Mrs Gonzàlez dragged her back…

Like that, they began dragging her like she was a commodity. ‘Oh God! What did I do to this people??” She cried inwardly as they kept dragging her.

“Enough!!!” She yelled but they ignored her, dragging her by her arms.

“Leave her to me!”

“No you leave her to me!”.

“Leave her now!!”

WEDDING DAY°°

Tension was beginning to rise in the church, the guest were already tired of waiting.

The look of impatience could clearly be seen on their face.

Has he elope on his wedding day coz most people do it… Why was he keeping them waiting??

The bride was standing alone waiting for her prospective groom but he was no where to be found.

Inside a room, Miguel’s parents and that of Yolanda could be seen in there. The two women were clearly panicking.

“Did he pick??” Mrs Gonzàlez asked Mr Gonzàlez immediately he dropped his phone.

“No Rosé, the call couldn’t connect.” He said frustratedly.

“Damnit!! Where the f_ck could Miguel possibly have gone??” Gael questioned rhetorically.

“Oh goodness!! Why today of all days??” Mrs Gonzàlez cried.

“Could he have possibly elope??” Mrs Adams spoke up, she was worried as well.

Miguel was missing and two things where involved… Their reputation and his welfare.

“I don’t think so Aunty. Miguel was very excited about this wedding, he can’t elope and I don’t think he could be f_cking a bítch… The only option my mind keeps telling me is what I don’t wanna believe.” Gael shook his head negatively.

It can’t be, right??

“What is it?? Tell me!!” Mrs Gonzàlez urged him.

“It’s just my thoughts, I’m not sure of it.” He told her.

“I wanna know at that, tell me right now.” She pressed further.

“Well Aunty, I don’t wanna believe it but I think Miguel has been abdúcted.” He told her and she froze.

“What are you saying Gael?? What do you mean by abdúcted?? He can’t possibly be!!” Mr Gonzàlez yelled and he shook his head.

“That’s why I said I’m not sure, you know how unserious Miguel can be about important lifetime decision, maybe he went out for a stroll and will be back soon.” Gael explained, trying to calm the pressure he caused.

Just then, Mr Adams phone rang. He picked up immediately he saw the caller.

“Yes… Really… Where… I’m coming right away, wait for me there.” He said to the caller.

“Who was it??” They chorused immediately he ended the call.

“The person who I asked to trace Miguel’s location, he found a clue of where he could be.” Mr Adams answered them.

“Really??” Mrs Gonzàlez asked, her eyes lit up in excitement.

“Yeah… Gael where did you say you left Miguel again??” Mr Adams asked.

“I left him at home, we were both coming when he left something back home so he went to pick it while I drove down here knowing he was gonna come later.” He replied.

“Okay, let’s go.” He said.

“I want to come with you.” Mr and Mrs Gonzàlez said.

“You two can’t come with me to avoid raising a suspicious eye… Martinéz can come while you women stay back and take care of things here.” He said and they nodded.

He left with Gael and Martinéz while Rosè and Isa stayed back.

“That obnoxious son of mine… Why is he doing this??” She whimpered.

“It’s alright Rose, he’s fine so let’s go back to the hall and wait for them to arrive.” Isa said and she nodded.

They both left the room.

°°
The anger boiling inside of Yolanda could heat water. She was so angry, frustrated and irritated.

First, they were making her get married and now, they were keeping her standing on the altar for hours like a hopeless wanderer.

She hissed loudly. Camila could feel her anger. She knew how much she was trying her best not to react right now.

But why would her Miguel keep her standing on the altar?? If he was not ready for the wedding again, he could simply call it off rather than keeping her stand hopelessly on the altar.

Just then Mrs Gonzàlez and Mrs Adams appeared and apologized for the delay before turning to the priest.

“Ma’am, what’s keeping your son?? This is not the only programme we have today.” He told her.

“I apologize for the delay, you know how boys of this generation behave… They never tend to take things seriously and my son-in-law is one of them.” Mrs Adams said.

“An unserious fellow will always remain unserious while forcing him to become serious.” Yolanda chipped in, removing her veil.

“Yolanda??”

“I’m done with this freaking wedding… When the unserious fellow arrive he can get married to my PA.” She told, throwing away her bouquet, she packed a handful of her gown and began walking out of the church.

“Oh my!”

“This is it!!”

“The wedding is over!!”

“I just wasted my time!!”

Murmurs filled the hall as she walked out.
