Since then she hasn’t been to this room, she got an apartment which she lived in while in college, when she was done she bought her own mansion.

“I love the decor.” He told her but she didn’t reply as she walked in fully, looking around the room.

It still looked the same way, just the way it used to be. The maid didn’t change it.

“Why are you staring as if it’s your first time being here?” Miguel asked and she scoffed.

“Learn to mind your f_cking business!” She retorted before going to seat on the bed obviously tired.

“Okay.” Miguel said before taking a seat on the couch in the room.

“So what should we discuss?” He asked her and she scoffed.

“Don’t think we’re here to discuss… I’ll advice you mind your business why I mind mine.” She snapped.

“But we’re getting married.” He countered.

“Nah, we’re only signing a darn paper, got it?” She stated.

“Interesting.” He stood up.

“I love the sound of that, but I ain’t sure it’s gonna go like that.” He smirked as he sat beside her.

She shifted.

“What do you mean?” She asked, furrowing her brows.

“I mean alot of things.” He smiled naughtily, leaning closer.

She turned to face him but she regretted that almost immediately. She didn’t know that he was sitting very close to her so as she turned…

Instead of their head bumping together, their lips was what crashed.

Her eyes widened, Miguel smiled inwardly before trying to gain entrance into her lips.

Getting back her senses, she pushed him off very hard that he landed on the floor.

“What the heck?!” She hastily rushed to the bathroom not minding him.

She closed the door behind her before rushing to the sink. She turned the tap and began washing her mouth with the running water.

Her soft sob could be heard as she washed her mind, her mind flashing to the kiss.

She spat out disgustingly before staring at her image in the mirror.

“Landa open the door!” Miguel yelled hitting the door.

How could he kiss her?? He just keeps giving her the impression that were the same.

Why couldn’t she just live her life the way she plan it? Why must her past always come back to her? And to think that she’s getting married.

She couldn’t do this. She sobbed.

“Landa open up now! What’s your problem?!” He asked but no response.

“Are you crying?” He asked as he could hear her sob loud and clear.

“Landa!” He called… Should he go inform her parents??

No. He shook his head at that thought… Maybe he should give her sometime.

He went to seat on the couch, waiting for her to come out.

Few minutes later, the door opened and Yolanda walked out of the bathroom looking fine and okay as of nothing happened.

No trace of tears could be found in her eyes but Miguel could swear that he heard crying.

“Landa!!” He rushed to her but she ignored him, walking out of the room immediately.

“Landa!” He called, going after her.

They downstairs to see their parents who smiled at them.

“You guys finally showed up, we were planning on going to call you in.” Mr Gonzàlez was the first to speak.

“Yeah… We’ve concluded your wedding preparation, we’ve come up with a date which is next week Saturday.” Mr Adams said smiling.

“I’m not getting married dad.” Yolanda uttered icily. Her face was having that cold expression as she stared at her dad directly in the face.

“Why??” Mr and Mrs Gonzàlez asked simultaneously.

“Baby??” Mrs Adams called.

“Yoyo?”

“I’m not getting married and that’s final.” She repeated before staring at all of them.

She looked away, picking her bag from the couch, she began walking out of the house…

She bumped into David at the door. “Huh? Crushie sister-in-law, where are you off to??” He asked innocently.

Yolanda stared at him for a second before walking away without answering him.

“Huh??” He muttered as he noticed her look wasn’t friendly.

What happened?

“Did anything happen Miguel?” Mr Gonzàlez asked Miguel who haven’t said a word.

“Nothing dad… That girl is a weirdo.” He uttered before walking out.

“Playboy!” David called following him out.

“José… Not like I don’t want this marriage, but I don’t want us to do something we would one day regret in the future… I suggest we let this two marry each other with their full consent, we should force them.” Mr Gonzàlez said.

“If I decide to take your advice then my daughter will remain single for the rest of her life, she will never get married, that’s why I thought of this arranged marriage… I expected this attitude anyway but trust me when I say that she will come.” Mr Adams assured.

“I hope so coz even Miguel needs this arranged marriage, that boy is something else… He needs to be responsible.” Mrs Gonzàlez told them.

“We should give them six months, if the marriage doesn’t work then they can file a divorce.” Mrs Adams suggested.

“That’s a nice idea… I hope it works tho.” Mrs Gonzàlez said.

“Me too.” Mrs Adams affirmed.

“I have a feeling it will work.” Mr Adams said.

“I hope your instinct is right.” Mr Gonzàlez said and they laughed.

“Alright then, we should prepare for their wedding… This Saturday.” Mr Gonzàlez said.

“It’s gonna be big.” Mrs Adams boasted.

“I hope it worths it.” Mrs Gonzàlez said.

“How about Yolanda??” Mr Gonzàlez asked.

“Leave that to me.” Mr Adams smirked at him and they all stared.

“I’m your wife and I still don’t know how you manage to make Yolanda do things against her wish.” Mrs Adams said.

“That’s a father and daughter thing.” He smirked.

“Okay then, let’s prepare for the six months arrangement.” Mr Gonzàlez said.

“We ain’t gonna let them know, right??” Mr Gonzàlez asked.

“Nah, they ain’t gonna find out that the marriage is just for six months.” Mrs Adams said smiling.

“I love this plan.” They smirked.

TBC.
