Arnold placed his hands in his pocket and ransacked it. He brought his hands out and nothing came out with it
“You don’t even have any money on you.. Nevermind, I can give you 5,000 dollars to start something for your life but don’t ever stop me again, you are not even my type” The girl said before walking away
” I deal with cheques not cash, right? “Arnold said looking pitiful, obviously this is the first time that someone will reject him and even call him names.
“Your account was restricted, you don’t have any money with you. Such a poor guy, his face is just a waste” Ryan said shaking his head
Arnold stood up and Bethel quickly went after him
“Should we cut the cake together?” Hazel asked Ted, who turned to look at her
“Are you referring to me? I allowed you to sit here because it’s your birthday and your party, don’t ask any questions so as not to annoy me” Ted answered
“Why are acting like this to me?You are hurting my feelings” Hazel snapped

“Who chased you from where you were sitting?”

Thelma took a glance at The STARS direction, only Ted and Hazel were there

“What are you doing?”Ciara asked, entering Amelia’s room
” Studying”She replied not taking her eyes off the book
“You’ll do well, I trust you. Go there and kick their butt”
“Thanks”
“Can I ask a question?” Ciara said suddenly, with her gaze on the floor
“Talk to me, is anything wrong?”
“My heart is acting weird, it was beating like hell;faster than usual. I felt my breathe leaving me, I felt hot..I don’t even understand myself anymore” She explained slumping on Amelia’s bed
“When did it all start?”
“Yesterday”
“Do you have a new classmate or something?”
“Bingo!! it happened the time he winked at the class. I felt we were the only one in the class,I zoned out for a minute. Even today, he was teamed up with me during our practical. When our hands touched…i felt..”
“You are in love?” Amelia exclaimed with widened eyes
“What!!? you must be mistaken, how can I be in love? it’s a joke, right? I just met him yesterday” She protested
“Maybe it’s love at first sight. I’m sure of it, even though I’ve not been in love but I’ve read books. Who is the guy?”
“Oliver, It’s not possible. Aishh, I think I’m going crazy” She whined ruffling her hairs
“Who is in love?” Beatrice, their mom, asked appearing by the door
Their eyes widened immediately and they both stood up
“I think I just asked a question”
“Mom.. I’m sure.. you…heard.. wrong” Anelia stuttered.
Well, they are actually d@mn scared of their Mom. Her words are final and she is always scary when angry. Her rules are commands, she had always told them that they should focus on their lives and should not fall in love. No falling in love till she gives her consent and when her laws gets broken, you are done for. And now, little Ciara is in love
“No, I heard everything” Their mom said with a smirk
“Ciara is in love, how funny” She added, with a straight face
“Mom, I’m not in love” Ciara countered
“Meet me in my room” Beatrice said walking out immediately
“What should I do now?” Ciara said with her face like she will cry anytime soon
She knows their mom pretty well, she can even transfer her to another school. All her friends, she will miss them all

Ciara entered her room and slumped on the bed with tears in her eyes
“What did mom say?what punishment did she give to you?”
“No school for me through out this week, no watching of Tvs throughout the year and I’ll be the one to do the dishess too. She even proposed that I’ll start part-time jobs to keep my mind off him’ isra explained sniffing
” You’ll be fine, you’re even lucky that you weren’t grounded or transfer schools”Amelia consoled,patting her back
“I want to be alone” Ciara muttered using her duvet to cover herself

“This is paradise” She exclaimed.
The students who were around looked at her as if she had grown ten heads. She not her bottom lips slightly, she’s fond of doing that whenever she’s nervous
