Amelia flashed her a smile and wanted to drink from the juice again when her phone rang. She brought it out to check the caller and also picked the call
“Come over right now…. Please, hurry up” Ciara’s voice sounded, making her stand up from the couch. She dropped the glass of juice
” Did something happen? ” Jenny inquired
” I have to go now” Amelia muttered
“How about the juice? You have to finish it up or I’ll be really sad…. You’ll let my effort go to waste” Jenny pouted cutely
” You can always make another one for me…. I think something happened at home and I have to hurry up” Amelia retorted, taking her bag and left
” Dam you” Jenny muttered, glaring at her retracting view
She brought out her phone and called the Boss
” The mission failed…. I’m sorry sir” She reported on the phone
” I thought you are one of the best agent I have but I guess not…. How can you fail a single mission? You punishment awaits you” Boss replied and hung up

LEWIS APARTMENT**
Amelia rushed inside, only to meet Ciara crying
“What happened? Why are you crying?” She asked slowly
” Mom” Ciara sobbed
“Did something happen to her? Where is she?”
” She fainted and I called the ambulance. She had been taken to the hospital, the doctor said she had cancer” She explained, making Amelia’s eyes widened
“What!? How did that happen?” She said breathlessly
” I noticed she looked pale and I asked her if everything was okay and she replied in affirmative….. I got home only to meet her on the floor”
“Where’s the hospital?”

” Mom…. Why didn’t you talk?” Amelia said, with her voice breaking
“There is no need for the tears, I’ll be fine” Beatrice smiled sadly
“Since when were you aware of the cancer?”
“About a year now” Beatrice answered
” You’ve been battling with it all by yourself…. Why didn’t you talk? I would have raised money for the surgery” Amelia retorted, with the tears rolling forn her cheeks.
Ciara stood afar of, with bloodshot eyes, already tired of crying.
“It was expensive and besides, I didn’t want to bother you” Beatrice bit her bottom lips like a child
Just then Teddy came in with a doctor
“We would shift you for the preparation of the surgery tomorrow” The doctor announced, shocking them
“We haven’t made payments yet” Amelia uttered
“He paid for it” The doctor replied, gesturing to Ted
” The nurses will come over soon, you’ll be moved to the VIP ward”He added before walking off
“Thanks a lot, I’ll find a way to pay you back” Amelia mumbled, admist tears
He moved closer to her and used his palm to clean her tears
“I don’t want any refund, just stop crying…. It’s breaking my heart” He cooed, pulling her into a tight hug
A smile appeared on Beatrice’s face, as she watched the both of them
“We are here to move you to your ward” Two nurses came inside
“I’ll be sleeping over” Anelia proposed
” Never mind, the hospital will take good care of me and besides, you have to go to school tomorrow….can Ciara go with you? Beatrice inquiried
“Sure” Ted answered
” but… I wanna stay here” Amelia pouted. Ted placed his lips on hers and in a swift she pushed him away, making him hit his butt on the floor
She gasped loudly, turning to look at her mom, who had a blank expression on
“We’d done that just once… No, I mean twice… Three times” Amelia stuttered, swallowing hard. She scratched the back of her head nervously, waiting for Beatrice response
“Take care of yourself” Beatrice said instead, making her look surprised

STARS PRIVATE CLASS** NEXT DAY*
Sean suddenly sighed deeply, making Ryan and Arnold look at him
“Is anything bothering you?” Ryan asked
“Do you think this willl work out? I feel like I’m hurting her feeling, she looked hurt when she saw me with the girl you set up for me” Sean turned to look at Arnold, who was grinning widely
“Just relax okay? She’ll be the one begging for your love when the time comes” Arnold replied
” What have you guys been up to? What am I missing?” Ryan asked, looking at the both of them curiously
“Sean….” Arnold flashed Sean a knowing smile
” Just keep shut” Sean snapped
“Your newest motorcycle or the secret is out?” Arnold proposed
“What!!!? Is this some sort of blackmail?” Sean asked
“Call it wh@ťěver you want, it’s my price for being your mentor” Arnold smiled
“Fine…. I hope you won’t ask for my life next” Sean rolled his eyeballs
Just then Ryan’s phone buzzed
*BOSS SAID YOU SHOULD GO thr_@tEN THE DETECTIVE* Jenny sent, making him roll his eyes
* I’M WITH THE BOYS, I CAN NOT LEAVE* He texted back
*I SUGGEST YOU GO IF YOU DON’T WANNA GET PUNISHED*
*CAN YOU GO FOR ME?* He replied

NICOLE’S OFFICE**
Nicole tapped her feet on the floor while thinking hard. She had been trying to figure out where the diary could be in the phone all to no avail. She let out a deep groan, running her hands through her hair.
Suddenly, she heard footstep from outside making her jerk up.
“Who’s there?” She called out but got no reply. She got a gun from her drawer and moved stealthily towards the door. She opened the door in a swift, only to see a letter on the floor
She stared at the letter, with furrowed brows as numerous thoughts flashed through her head. She picked it up and opened it
*THIS IS MY LAST WARNING TO YOU, GET YOUR HANDS OFF THE CASE OR EXPECT DEATH. CHOOSE WISELY, DETECTIVE* She reads
Her eyes darted to the hallway and she caught a glimpse of the back view of someone dressed in black
“Hey!!!!” She shouted
The person started running and she followed suite. She tried to catch up with the person but he or she was d@mn fast. She boycotted him and got to his front. He was dressed all black and had a mask on
“I guess you are the ki||er or you are sent by the ki||er” Nicole smirked, corking her gun. She pointed it at him
He sent her a flying kick, making her fall heavily on the floor. As he made to run away, she dragged his leg, pulling him down.
“You should be the one to expect death” She said, climbing on him
She took her hand to the person’s face and meant to remove the mask

BLITZ COLLEGE**
Amelia sighed deeply, staring at her reflexion in the mirror, she kept zooming out in class and she couldn’t concentrate. She brought out her phone to put a call through the doctor when Anna entered
“Did you come after me? You should go back to class, I’ll be put soon” She smiled st Anna, who looked disturbed
“I’m sorry, Amelia” She muttered, with tears rolling down her cheek. Amelia looked at her confusedly
“Sorry for what?”
Anna brought put an handkerchief and placed it on her nose. She felt her system weakened and she slowly drifted into unconsciousness,falling on the floor
