Amelia turned back with a start only to meet the manager who had a wide grin on his face
“Good evening Sir” She greeted with a forced smile
“Evening pretty, have your seat” he replied gesturing her with his hand
“I told you I have a shift very soon, just tell me what I should do. I’m not staying here for long” she stuttered
“What I want to say is not something we can discuss while standing” he said taking his seat
She swallowed hard going to take her seat
“What do you want? drink? or better still I should prepare something for you?”
“Never mind Sir. I’m fine, the house is empty” she said scanning the whole place
“My wife and children packed out of the house, we got divorced” he replied
“I didn’t know, I apologize for bringing that up” she bowed
“It’s fine, it’s been a while now and I’m over it”
“I’ll just go straight to the point, I need you to pleasure me” he blurted out
” I … d.. don’t understand ”
” Let’s be in a relationship, you are a pretty girl and you need someone to help you preserve that beauty of yours. I have the money to do that, just give me a chance and you won’t regret it”He said calmly like it’s nothing
” I’m not interested, Sir. If that’s all I’ll take my leave ” she said standing up immediately
” And you think I’ll let you go like that? ” he said sharply
” Huh? ”
” I gave you opportunity to choose because I love you but since you refuse, I’ll have to force you” he replied, also standing up
” You can’t love me, Mr Chadwick. I’m like a daughter to you, just let me go” she pleaded, with the hand clasped
” Why should I? I’ve stopped seeing you as a daughter ” he smirked, advancing closer to her
” What are you doing? ” she said understand her breathe
” Doing what’s right” he replied, pushing her to the wall
” Please, Sir. Don’t do anything to me….. ” she cried out
” Just be quiet and let’s do this noiselessly ” he said, sniffing her
She tried pushing him away but he didn’t even bulge. He ran his hands on her face making her squint in disgust, she h@ťěs what he’s doing to her.
” You monster, let me go” she shouted and she received a hard slap on her face
” I can see you are stubborn, but that won’t stop me from doing my thing” he said, a dark smile escaped from his lips
He placed his mouth on her neck, kissing her deeply. She had to use her leg to hit him down there and he let go of her immediately, groaning in pains
She rushed to the door and opened it
“You monster” she cursed, tears had filled her eyes already
She took a final glance at him before running out. She cried as she was running, finding it hard to believe that had happened to her. She didn’t expect that from him and the thought of his lips on her neck made her cringe. She rubbed the spot
She arrived at a bridge and she sat on a bench there crying away her pains
“I thought I’ll finally have peace, can you stop crying, miss?” She heard a masculine voice
“Just leave me alone” she snapped
She felt a presence beside her but she didn’t bother to turn
“Here, use this” the person said offering her an handkerchief which she collected
“Thanks” she said turning to face the person
“Don’t cry too much, it’s gonna be fine” he said ruffling her hair before standing up
“Are you leaving? I can leave if you want to, don’t leave because of me” she shook her hand
” I’ve been here so a while now, enjoy the breeze” He said before walking away
” I hope we’ll meet again” she muttered, staring at his retracting figure
PEARLS MANSION**
” f_ck it!! ” Romeo yelled, squeezing the paper
He has been trying to compose a song but no inspiration is forth coming
“Are you okay Sir?” the new manager saud, rushing in
“Get me my phone” he ordered and the phone was given to him
“Is he still using this number?” he said to himself staring at Teddy’s contact on his phone….
He dialed the number and it rang
“Hello” he said into the phone as soon as Teddy picked
“Romeo?”
“You still recognize my voice, I’m glad” He replied
“Why did you call me?” Teddy said from the other side
“To greet my old time friend. I couldn’t come to your concert, so I’m using this medium to say congratulations”
” We don’t need it, don’t call the line again ” Teddy said
” I heard you hugged Hazel……. Awwn, that’s so sweet. Are you both still in a relationship?”
” You are not in any position to ask me that”
” You always want leftovers so I’m not surprised, but aren’t you ashamed? you are always after my Ɓîtçhes”He said with a wide grin but he got no response from Teddy
” I do wonder how you use to cope when you see that? my mark on her? tell me, do you love it? ”
Teddy hung up immediately making him laugh out loud
“I guess he hasn’t gotten over it” Romeo said, turning to his manager still laughing. The poor man had no choice but to join him in the laughter if he doesn’t wanna get fired
“Contact a song writer and a singer” Romeo ordered
For what, sir?” The manger said
“Are you questioning me now? I guess I’m in a good mood do I’ll tell you, they are needed for my concert” he replied standing up
Just then his phone rang, the manager quickly stretched the phone to him
“Who is it?”
“It’s Lucy, Sir”
“Pick it up and tell her I’m busy ” he said
“Hello” The manager said
“He’s busy, call back later” he added and without waiting for her to reply, he hung up
“Why can’t this Ɓîtçhes let me rest?” He said, running his hand on his face
“I have no idea, Sir. You can’t just block their number”
“That ain’t fun, I love it when they call. It’s only a confirmation that I’m too handsome for them to resist” He winked at the manager who gulped into nothing, wishing the ground should open and swallow him
Well, you can say…. working with Romeo is not easy
