“Will you wake up? What nonsense is this?” Amelia said
“Fan me so I will wake up, My Oppa is here” she muttered with her eyes still closed
“Why will I fan you when you are fully awake? stand up before I kick you, Your Oppa indeed, did he know you as his fan?”
Jewel stood up closely, dusting off the dirt on her gown
“Oppa” she called making the person turn to look at them fully
Amelia unconciously gasped, it’s Teddy. But what’s he doing here?
“Hi” he waved with a smile
“Did you see that? he just smiled at me, he even waved” Jewel giggled as a child who was given sweets
She waved back at him with a sheepish smile
“Your act is annoying me, I’m going to give the money to the administrator” Amelia snapped before going in
Jewel moved a little closer to Teddy, watching him while beaming in smiles
“Let’s go, Jewel” Amelia said coming out
“I’m not going now, hold on a little” Jewel replied not looking at her, her gaze was still on Teddy
“Should I play for you?” Teddyasked the children who squealed happily
He got a guitar and he started playing

He stopped playing the guitar and he faced the children as if he’s waiting for their comments
“That was awesome, big brother…. You did great. After all you are Teddy, we didn’t expect less” Someone said while the rest cheered on
“Did you hear that? they are calling him big brother” Jewel whispered to Amelia who seems lost in thought. Her eyes were fixed on Teddy
She don’t really understand but whenever she listen to his songs or hear his voice, she do feel like he is trying to pass something out. Like he wants to voice out through his song and that is making her emotional
“Are you here at all or you’ve already fallen?” Jewel asked tapping her lightly, making her jolt out of revive
“Fallen as in how? I’m still standing straight”
“Listen to me carefully because you might need this one day, I’m always available for relationship counselling” Jewel winked making Amelia scoff loudly
” I thought you wanted to say something better but still you are spewing nonsense”
“Oppa, that was great” Jewe said giving him a thumb up
” Thanks” he said simply
Just then, a woman came in with a tray of sweets, judging by her clothes, you’ll know she’s a worker there
“Teddy, do you want some sweets?” She asked
Jewel’s eyes widened immediately, what the hell.
“What’s this woman thinking? did she except Teddy to collect that from her?” She thought inwardly
To her surprise, Teddy took some.
“Thank this pretty girls for me, they just donated to the orphanage” She added
“Thank you so much, we really appreciate” he bowed at them
“My Oppa, that’s was nothing. Stop bowing to us or I’m gonna cry” Jewel said
“Let’s just go” Amelia said pulling her by her arms
She bowed to Teddy and the woman before going out with Jewel

ANDREWS RESTUARANT**
I still can’t believe all that happened, my Oppa is so sweet. I’m falling for him even more, he’ll make a good boyfriend right?”
“Wh@ťěver” Amelia rolled her eyes
“I’m just imagining how sweet he will be, I might get to wake up and have breakfast in bed, I’ll get showered with kisses every now and then, money will be no problem…. with such life, my body will glow. Hazel must be enjoying, I wish I can just snatch him from her?” Jewel said dreamily
“Who is Hazel? is he dating her or what?” Amelia said curiously
“Are you that curious to know? be a fan and I’ll tell you” Jewel offered with a wink
“Never mind then, I don’t want to be anyone’s fan. I’m myself fan” Jewel said turning back to the dishes she was washing
“so uptight, I’ll tell you anyways… Teddy and Hazel are actually dating, they are couples. Hazel do brag about it always and she do post pictures and videos of their romantic moments together. Merely by looking at it, you would wish for your own boyfriend, like gawd, Teddy is the real deal. But… she has stopped posting that since last year, I wonder why though” Jewel explained
“Main reason I don’t want to be a fan, you have to pry into others welfare…. see how you explained it like you are a third party in their relationship”
“What!!! I shouldn’t have told you then, it’s my fault”
“At this rate, I think the both of you should leave my restaurant” The manager said from behind
“Not again” Amelia muttered taking her bottom lips in
“Have you suddenly gone deaf and dumb? Or am I talking to ghosts?”
“We are girls, sir. We have to talk, after all we got mouth to talk” Jewel said
“You!!” the manger said raising his hand to hit her but Jewel shifted backwards
“You are not permitted to hit me , Sir. This was one of the reasons why I left school”
“We are sorry sir, it won’t happen again”
“You are always promising me that and as for you Jewel, I should have fired you but I’m just restraining myself because of Amelia. You are rude and don’t know how to apologize. Amelia, see you in my office” He said before walking away
“What did I just hear?” Amelia said sounding unsure
“Go see him in his office, your sweet manager who understands you is waiting for you” Jewel teased
“Why will he call me to his office? can’t he just say wh@ťěver he wants to say here?” Amelia scoffed

“I’m here” Amelia said swallowing into nothing
“Pretty, come have your seat” He said
“I have dishes to wash, you can just pass the message to me while I’m standing” Amelia uttered, She just don’t feel right about this whole thing
“Okay, if you insist. Amelia I need you to come to my house, I have something for you” he started looking at her intensely
She looked downwards, playing with her toes
“What do you think about that?” He asked
“I have another shift by 9pm, sir. I don’t think it will be possible” she answered
“Like seriously, even if it concerns work?” he said standing up
“What do you mean, sir?”
“I’ll get you sacked if you don’t come. Don’t take my words for granted, I really mean it” he said
“I’ll see what I can do” She said and bowed hurriedly before rushing out
She slammed the door behind her and rested her back on the door
“What should I do? and this is what I can do to feed our family” she thought
“What’s wrong with you? what did he say? why are you this tensed?” Jewel said appearing from nowhere
“Nothing, he just talked about work and all that” She replied, trying hard to keep her cool
“I thought he talked about me, I would just go in there and punch his nose. That big nose of his that it can contain the whole of Atlantic ocean” Jewel said showing off her fist
“That’s exaggeration” Amelia said laughing lightly
“Exag… what’s that?”
“Aren’t you tired of asking that question? go back to high school and save yourself the stress”
“Are you mocking the right now? At this point I think you are right, I should go back to high school but don’t you think it’s late already?”
“It’s never too late” Amelia said tapping her on her shoulder

LEWIS APARTMENT**
“I’m home!!” Amelia announced as soon as she got in
” Who are these? “She added looking at the unfamiliar faces around
” They are Ciara’s classmate, they came for their assignment”Beatrice replied coming out with a plate of snacks
“I’m Marvell and this is jimmy, my boyfriend” Marvell introduced taking a bit of the snacks
“But I must confess you are so beautiful” she added quickly
“What!!, you …both… like, you are in a relationship?” Beatrice stammered
“Yeah, we look cute together, right?”
“How old are you both?” Beatrice asked now with a stern look
“We are fourteen years, same with Ciara” Marvell said
“Are your parents aware of this?”
“Yeah and they gave their consent” Jimmy replied
“This is unbelievable, what are children turning into? I never dated anyone till I was twenty five” Beatrice exclaimed
“That was then Mom not now, we are in a civilized world now” Marvell groused
“Are you by chance calling me old-fashioned?”
“I never said so bit it seems so” Marvell replied
“I’m gonna spank you” Beatrice said advancing closer to her but Marvell took her heels. They started running round the living room
“Mom, I’m off” Amelia said cutting the chase
“Where are you going to?” Beatrice asked stopping right on track
“I have to go to my manager’s house” She replied
“To do what?”
“It’s pertaining to work, I’ll be back soon”
“I don’t feel right about this, is it compulsory you go? is he a married man?”
“Yeah, I have to go or I’ll get fired. He’s a married man with kids, I’ll be totally fine” Amelia said
“Okay then”
THE MANGER’S APARTMENT**
“Mr Chadwick” Amelia called out knocking
She knocked again but got no reply so she pushed the door open and she went inside
As soon as she got inside, the door shut from behind…. She felt her soul leaving her body, who locked the door?
