So he fixed the puzzles together and he knew
that this was the person who might have done
that to Maverick.
He rushed to Biggie and then pointed an
accusing finger at him.
“It was you who did that”
Biggie didn’t even understand what he was
saying and was staring at him confused.
“Did what? I don’t understand what you are
saying” Biggie said truthfully but Frankie only
scoffed thinking he was lying.
“Don’t try to act oblivious. It was you earlier. The
one who bumped into me earlier. I know what I
am saying” Frankie said. He already grabbed his
clothes tightly.
“I don’t understand this $h|t you’re crapping
dude, get your hands off me” Biggie said and
removed Frankie’s hands roughly.
“This was the hoodie you were wearing. I wasn’t
blind when you bumped into me” Frankie
continued accusing him and Biggie was getting
frustrated already.
“I did not bump into you today and besides this
hoodie doesn’t belong to me” His last words
caught Frankie’s ears.
“Then who owns it” Frankie asked quickly. His
voice was a little louder.
“I don’t know why you’re so interested in this
hoodie anyways it belongs to Connor. It was
comfortable that was why I was wearing it” The
moment he mentioned Connor’s name, he didn’t
even pay attention to the remaining words he
was saying.
“You say this hoodie is for Connor” Frankie
asked to be sure.
“Yeah”
When Frankie confirmed for the second time, he
balled his fists slowly. He thought Connor was
Maverick friend so why would he wanna ki|| her.
He didn’t care about that though. The fact that
he attempted to do it. Their relationship doesn’t
matter to him.
“Where is your room?” Frankie snapped at him.
Biggie flinched and rolled his eyes before telling
him the way.
Frankie was so angry as he marched to where
Biggie told him was their room. The state
Maverick was in was making his blood boil and
he would give Connor what he deserves.
He got to the room and he didn’t bother
knocking before entering. He saw Connor sitting
on the bed while rubbing his sweaty palms.
When Connor saw him, he sprang up from the
bed as his heart was beating fast seeing
Frankie here.
“Why did you do that to your Friend huh” Frankie
asked and went to him grabbing the collar of
his shirt.
“I… don’t… know wh.. what you’re talking…ab..b..
about” Connor was speaking nervously.
“Don’t play dumb with me. She’s lying
unconscious all because of you and you’re
acting like you weren’t the one” Frankie said and
threw a punch at his face.
Suddenly, Connor’s expression changed and he
charged at Frankie returning the punch.
Frankie touched the blood on his lips as a result
of the punch Connor gave him. His anger
aggravated and he threw another punch.
Connor also reciprocated and a fight ensued.
Biggie came to the room and caught them
fighting and tried separating them.
“Why are you both fighting, please stop” Biggie
yelled.
“Tell him. How could he hurt someone he calls a
friend” Frankie said referring to Connor.
“It was you. You caused it all. How could you
fall in love with her. It was because of you that
she rejected me. I don’t care of the state she is
in. That’s what she gets for rejecting me”
Connor said emotionlessly.
“What are you both talking about. Who is the
she” Biggie asked confused.
“Ahswear you will pay” Frankie said and glared
at Connor one more time before leaving the
room.
“Connor what is happening here. What is
Frankie accusing you of” Biggie asked again.
“Who is the girl you hurt?” Biggie asked again
when Connor wasn’t replying him.
“If you wanna know, it’s Maverick. She’s is the
one we’re talking about”
“Wait! Is it the Maverick I know or someone else”
“It’s the one you know dummy. She’s a girl. She
has been deceiving us all this while”
“Wait. Maverick is a girl and I didn’t know. Then
why did you hurt her wasn’t she our friend”
Biggie asked him but Connor scoffed.
“Connor I am talking to you. You can be in
trouble for hurting her. Didn’t you think of the
gravity of what you did” Biggie questioned him.
“See I am fed up of all these talks can you leave
me alone” Connor snapped and buried his face
in his bed.
“Maverick…a girl….. and I didn’t know” Biggie
said to himself.

Frankie was furious as he went back to the
clinic to check on Maverick. He went to the
where Maverick was but he was surprised to see
Mr Baldwin there.
“When were you ready to tell me that your
roommate is a girl” Mr Baldwin said the
moment he saw Frankie.
“How did you know?” Frankie asked surprised.
“How could you do that when you know this
school doesn’t accept girls” The administrator
asked.
“She’s getting expelled the moment she regains
her consciousness” Mr Baldwin said and left.
When he left, Frankie collapsed on the floor in
front of the bed. Then he intertwined their
fingers like the way he usually does.
“I’m sure that you know that you’re in deep
trouble now that everyone knows that your
secret is finally out but just know that I don’t
care. I would make sure that you get to achieve
that dream that you’ve always dreamt of.”
“I’ll be by your side no matter what happens”
Frankie said and then some nurses came in.
“Her flight is ready. We’re taking her to the
mainland to receive proper treatment before it
gets worse” One of the nurses said and Frankie
allowed them do their job.
Frankie had to persuade Mr Baldwin before he
was allowed to follow them. Also the students
were all informed that an emergency came up
and they would all be going back to school
tomorrow.
***THE NEXT DAY***EVENING****
The students all arrived back to school because
of what happened to Maverick. Two police
officers came to Connor’s room for questioning.
Frankie told Mr Baldwin about what Connor did
so they involved the police to get his statement.
They also contacted Maverick parents about the
condition of their daughter and they were
devastated.
They were surprised that their daughter were
going to a school they weren’t aware of but they
decided to save that for later.
Her health was more important.

Maverick had already undergone treatments
and they performed a minor surgery cause of
the hit on her head to stop the internal bleeding
and any other injuries it might have caused to
her head.
After everything, the doctor confirmed that she
was okay but was just unconscious.
Her parents and Stephanie went to check on
how she was faring.
Frankie only peeped through the transparent
glass but he got a text from his dad to meet him
at the mansion.

Megan already had some little information
about her murderer of a dad thanks to the
research she got from the internet cafe she went
to.
She just came out of the cafe and was taking a
stroll round the city of California. She was
cautious because she wore a hoodie to cover
her face.
She knew Skull would be searching around for
her so she had a small dagger inside her clothes
just in case.
She was admiring the things she saw. The night
breeze was so cold and being a lover of cold
weather she loved it.
She was about to cross the road but failed to
see an oncoming vehicle. When the owner of
the car saw that he saw someone on the road,
he pressed the brake immediately and the car
stopped in front of Megan.
Megan who was scared because of the car, fell
on the floor and the cap of the hoodie covering
her face removed but she was grateful that the
car didn’t hit her.
Frankie who was the one driving the car was
unable to see her early because of the dark
clothing that she was wearing.
He came down from his car to apologize to the
person he almost hit. He came to see the person
staying in front of his car and his eyes widened.
This person looks so much like his sister. He
could still recognize what she looks like even
though it’s four years already.
To be sure that he wasn’t dreaming, Frankie
muttered slowly,
“Mandy is that you” he said and some tears fell
out of his eyes.
