Brayden sighted Kylan as he walked and he immediately walked closer to him
“Hey” He called and Kylan stopped,he removed his headphones and raised his brows
“How’s Kingsley? I’m just asking because he wasn’t in class today” Brayden said
Kylan glared at him and used his headphones back before walking away without saying a word
“What the h*ll?” Brayden muttered
“Hey Brayden!” Someone called and he turned to find Sawyer waving
He walked over to her
“I didn’t see you all day,did you even attend the class?” Sawyer asked
“Of course I did,maybe I was invisible” Brayden joked and she laughed
“Honestly I didn’t see you,wanna have lunch together?” Sawyer asked
“Sure” Brayden smiled and they both walked away.

THE ROBERT’S COMPANY**
Josephine was in her office busy with work,she was so focused on wh@ťěver she was doing until the door suddenly opened and Jasper came in.
“Boss” He called and Josephine nodded in response without taking her eyes from her work
“Mrs Robert is here” Jasper continued and Josephine immediately looked up
“What did you just said?” She asked
“Mrs Robert……” Almost immediately the door door opened and Mrs Robert came in
Jasper bowed slightly before walking out of the office
Mrs Robert checked out the office with a smirk playing on her lips
“It’s been years since I came here” She said before facing Josephine who stood up
“What are you doing here?” She asked
“What am I doing in my company? How funny” Mrs Robert chuckled
“A little correction,it’s mine not yours” Josephine said and Mrs Robert smiled
“Maybe I should just accept that” she said and sat down
“Why are you here? You’re not allowed to even sit down!” Josephine snapped
“You won’t want your workers to see how you treat your mom” Mrs Robert said
“And you won’t want the whole world to know that The popular Mr Robert was ki||ed by his own wife” Josephine said and Mrs Robert frowned but turned it into a short smile
“I’m here for something else” She said
“Then speak up and leave,I don’t like visitors” Josephine said
“Do you know your brother now have a girlfriend?” Mrs Josephine asked
“So? The last time I checked,He’s twenty and can do anything he wants,so how is that my business?” Josephine asked
Mrs Robert smiled and stood up
“I’m glad my son is growing up,but that pauper is not the right choice” She said and Josephine scoffed
“You can talk to him before it’s too late,I will never allow my son bring a commoner to my face….”
“Sometimes,being a commoner tends to be better than living in a mansion where there’s no peace,don’t you think? And,I am glad Kingsley is grown up now. I should call him and congratulate him,it’s his first time having a girlfriend remember? Oh sorry,I forgot you don’t even know anything about your son,I don’t know if it’s even right to call him your son Mrs Robert” Josephine smiled before sitting down
Mrs Robert chuckled before walking out of the office in all her pride.
Josephine immediately took her phone and dialed Kingsley’s number.

IN THE CITY**
“Wow,it feels so good walking around here” Summer said looking around. Her hand tangled with Kingsley’s own
“The breeze feel differently since you’re here” Kingsley said and Summer chuckled
“It’s a zoo” Summer pointed and released Kingsley’s hand immediately and ran off
“I thought I told her to always stay beside me” Kingsley muttered and was about going after her when his phone buzzed and he checked. It’s a call from his sister
“Sis?” He called immediately he answered the call
“How did mom find out you have a girlfriend? And when did you even started dating and I didn’t know anything?” Josephine asked
“Oh…I was going to tell you soon” Kingsley said and rub his hair
“If it’s not Summer then don’t talk to me again” Josephine said and Kingsley chuckled
“Of course it’s her,stop being extra” he said
“I knew it! Anyway,how did mom got to know about her?”
“She saw us once together” Kingsley replied
“She came over to the office,she left just now. You should be careful,you know what that woman can do,protect your girlfriend” Josephine said
“I will,thank you”
“I can’t wait to see her again,” Josephine chuckled before hanging up
“Angel Eyes,come over!” Summer called and Kingsley immediately walked over to her

8PM**
Summer groaned out loudly as they stared at the heavy rain pouring continuously
“Must this happen anytime we are out?” She asked rubbing her hands on her arms
Kingsley took off his jacket and put it around her
“Thanks” She smiled at him
“I don’t think it’s gonna stop anytime soon” Kingsley muttered
“What do we do? You can’t ride the bike,it’s dangerous” Summer said
“I know” Kingsley said
“But I think there’s an hotel around here,but the problem is the rain” He added and faced her
“Stay here,I will be back in two minutes okay?” He said and Summer nodded
“Don’t move an inch from here…..”
“I will be fine” Summer cut in
Kingsley kissed her cheek and ran to the nearest supermarket,he got an umbrella,he paid and ran out again. His mind wasn’t at rest until he got back to Summer.
“Thank goodness” He exhaled
“Are you that worried?” Summer teased
He smiled and kissed her hair
“Let’s go” He and grabbed Summer’s hand
“Do you think the bike is safe here?” Summer asked
“It should and if not,let’s just get out of here first” Kingsley said and they both walked away
They found a hotel as they walked
“I knew there’s one around here” Kingsley said and Summer cleared her throat
“What” he faced her
“You must have come here numbers of times” She muttered and looked away with jealousy obvious in her eyes
“I won’t deny that,but you are what matters right now” Kingsley said and they went in
It’s a big hotel,the view is so beautiful.
“Wow,it’s been a long time” the receptionist said immediately she saw Kingsley
Kingsley and Summer exchanged glances
“The usual?” The receptionist asked
“No!” Kingsley and Summer snapped at a time and the receptionist raised her brows
“A complete different room,completely different,not his usual ones” Summer said and Kingsley bite his lips
“Oh… Okay” The receptionist muttered
Kingsley paid and Summer grabbed the keycard from the receptionist and shot her a glare before walking away
“Gosh,must you talk?” Kingsley mumbled and roll his eyes at the receptionist before going after Summer
“Did I do anything wrong?” The receptionist wondered.

“I think it’s this one….”
“You think or you know it’s this one,how sure am I that you’ve not used most rooms in this hotel?!” Summer snapped at him
“No…..” he kept quiet when Summer glared at him
She inserted the keycard and the door opened.
They entered
“Finally” Summer inhaled and exhaled
Kingsley suddenly hugged her
“What are you doing?” She asked
“Are you mad at me?” Kingsley asked
“No I’m not” She replied and Kingsley broke the hug
“I don’t care about your pasts,I love you and I trust you won’t try to do anything that will hurt me,Right?” She asked
Kingsley smiled and hugged her
‘Tell her about the bet,tell her about it right now’ His subconsciousness said to him and he sighed
“Is something wrong?” Summer asked trying to break the hug
“No,let’s just stay this way” He muttered,tightening the hug
