HOSPITAL ROMANCE

“What did you think you are doing”they heard an angry voice. They both broke the hug and turned. Behold it was lizzy.
“What are you doing with my man, so you came back just to seduce my man”lizzy yelled and she approach then further. But to her own surprise Alexandra just left the office.
“Freddie you are cheating on me, how could you”she cried but Freddie just sat down on his sit staring at the space.
“You see am going to tell your parents about what you did”she said and storms out in anger but Freddie was still staring at the space.

Alexandra entered her office and saw no one in, she sat down weakly.
“Am a big fool for believing what he said”she said out loud.
“For believing what??”she heard a voice, she turned and it was Becky. Andra just ignored her then she came and sat near him.
“What is it Andra”Becky asked concerned.
“Freddie told me he misses me and that he was not married to anyone, I don’t know but I believed him only to found out that it was just a lie, his so called wife entered and said that Freddie is his man, that I came back just to seduce him”Andra explained in tears.
“Can you just stop the tears”Becky asked and cleaned Andra tears with her hand.
“Maybe he still lo………..”she was interrupted when Alexandra phone rang. She checked and it was one of Angel teacher in school.
“Hi am I speaking with Angel mom”Alexandra heard when she picked the call.
“Yes,any problem”she asked.
“Angel fell in the school stairs and am afraid she might have lost some blood.”the teacher said.
“Whaaaaaaaaaaat”they both shouted.
Alexandra stood up immediately running to the receptionist office while Becky followed.
She don’t want anything to happen to her child just like that.
And they arrived at the receptionist office and told her to let them leave the hospital for some times.
“I can’t ma’am, you have to collect a letter from the Head doctor”the receptionist said.
“Please I will just be back in one hour time”Andra pleaded.
“Am sorry ma’am, this job means alot to me and I can’t loose it”the receptionist said.
“Please my son is dying”Andra yelled but she shook her head.
“Andrea let go”Becky said and pulled her to Freddie’s office.
They got there and saw him about leaving his office when they stopped him.
“Ummm sir please we need your permission, we want to leave just for few hours”Becky said.
“Why”he asked.
Alexandra phone rang again and it was the same teacher. She don’t know when she picked the call.
“Ma’am aren’t you coming, your child is dying”the teacher yelled from the phone.
Freddie expression changed that no one could understand but Alexandra didn’t even notice her mind was only in one person who was her child.
“I will be coming soon please,”she replied.

Becky and I alighted and paid the cab man before entering Angel school.
We got to the school clinic and met her on the bed paled out.
“Mrs Alexandra she fell while climbing down the stairs”one of the teacher explained.
My child looks pale, I can’t leave her her.
“Becky I have to take her out of here”I said and she nodded.
We told the school nurse we are talking our child and they agreed. I carried her out while Becky just followed.
“Let take her down town, there is a clinic there”I said.
“No, we are nurses, let take her to the hospital where she can get proper medication”Becky instead.
“But I don’t want Freddie to see my child”I said.
“You have to choose between your daughter life or Freddie not knowing about her, common she is 4 and she needs serious attention”Becky said and stopped a cab man which we entered tho I don’t like the idea because I don’t want Freddie to see my child.
We arrived at the hospital and my heart jumped like what if he found out.
I shook my head and entered with the baby on my arms. Then lucky we met an old nurse.
“What happened to her”she asked.
“She fell down in School, is doctor Sam around”I asked and she nodded.
“Come”she said and we entered the hospital Ward and I laid her on the sick bed.
“Can you leave, you can’t watch us treating your daughter”the nurse said.
“What!! No, I can’t, am a nurse too”I said.
“I know but is against the rules”she said and Becky gave me a nod to leave. I took a deep breath before leaving the ward.
As I was heading to my office I bumped into someone.
“Am sorry”I said and was about to leave but he draw me back that was when I looked at the person and saw it was Freddie staring at me.
“I thought you went home”he asked.
“That is not your business”I said struggling trying to get rid of his grip but he heard me tight.
“Come with me”he said and pulled me to his office.
“Let me go”I struggled. He pulled me to his dressing room in the office and locked the door.
“Let me go!!”I screamed.
“Are you a mother??” He asked. Well I have been expecting that question.
“I don’t have any answers to your question”I said but he pinned me in the wall.
“Just answer me are you a mother??”he asked me softly.
“Yes, I am, I got pregnant in my nursing school, do you have any problem with that”I yelled but the expression on his face was unreadable.
“Now you have seen the answer of what you are looking for can you let me go now”I said. But just like a strange force, He lean closer to me before smashing his lips roughly on mine. I widened my eyes when our lips met.
“If the child is not mine I will make it mine”he said and I looked at him in shocked.
“The child is not yours and will never be, not after everything you did me, you told me you never loved me that am too fat to be loved, even if I end up as a mother I don’t care”I poured my heart out.
