Dean couldn’t say anything, he just stood still staring at her
“Sir Dean?” she waved her hands Infront of him
“Yo..you should have given me a call before coming” he said with a little stutter
Somehow he couldn’t bring himself to look her in the eyes
“I’m sorry about that” She apologized
“I will be back” she added and followed Collins upstairs.
Dean exhale deeply after she left
He remembered her face and smiled involuntarily but the smile quickly vanished when he remembered Tyler
He sigh again sadly before leaning back on his chair
“Dean.. Collins called as he descended the stairs with Kaylan
“Babila called,,, she said someone needs your attention at the company but no qualms man,,, I’ll go instead. You just have to keep Kaylan company till I’m back” Collins said knowingly
“It’s fine.. I will be fine on my own” She said
“No!!! You won’t be fine. I’m not okay with it.. Collins replied while Dean’s gaze were still on kaylan.
The door burst open and Brittany walked in
“My Kaylan” Brittany gushed mirthfully and hugged her
“You look dazzling and beautiful” she complimented while Dean scoff
” Beautiful my butt, I’ve f_cked prettier girls” he muttered inaudibly
” Is she going to the company with you both?” She asked
“She’s not” Dean replied quickly
” Why not” Brittany asked
“I have an important meeting today with the board members”
“What’s wrong if you show them your girlfriend?” Brittany asked. “She’s going with you and that’s final” she added sternly
“Don’t forget, I’ve got eyes on you. If I discovered all this is fake, Dean you’re doomed” Brittany thr_@tened and left the house
” Why’s she so scary?” Dean muttered

They got to the factory and all eyes were on Kaylan. The male employees stared at her admiringly
“Good morning Sir” The employees greeted simultaneously with a smile
“You are beautiful” Nathan, one of the employee complimented kaylan and she smiled
” You wanna get fired?” Dean thr_@tened before turning back to Kaylan. “Stop smiling, it’s annoying” He rolled eyes at her before entering the elevator leaving them behind
Collins chuckled softly at his action
“Why is he being mean?” Kaylan wondered aloud
” Let’s just say he’s going nuts” Collins smiled again
They got to his office and Kaylan sat on one of the couches
“I will be back” Collins said and walk out of his office
It was just him and Kaylan and the atmosphere was somewhat tensed. An hour passed and Collins wasn’t back yet.
“Collins!! He left me here on purpose” he complained mentally
He kept stealing glances at her until their eyes met and he quickly looked away
“Jeez.. this is so frustrating” he grumbled
That was the most awkward moment of his life!
“I… I will be back.. I have to attend a meeting with the board members” he said and left the room. He leaned on his door and release a breath he didn’t even know he was holding
He walk to the coffee machine and met two male employees talking about kaylan though they were oblivious of his presence
“Who do you think she is?” One of them asked the other
“Maybe sir Dean’s sister” the other replied
“I pray she’s his sister” the first one said again
“Why?” The second one asked
“I think I like her.. she’s beautiful and hot that I just can’t….
“Ahem” Dean cleared his throat interrupting them
“Sir Dean” they both called
“Why would you like your boss’s wife?” He asked
“I’m sorry Sir” the guy apologized
“If something like this happens again, that will be the end of your job” he said sternly
“Thank you Sir” They both said and ran out
“Wife?? Seriously? I think am going crazy for real” he started laughing like a mentally deranged person
He walked back into his office but Kaylan was fast asleep He sigh before getting a quilt from his inner room which he use to cover her
He knelt next to her and his eyes trailed her cute round face till they landed on her lips. He licked his lips involuntarily as he stared at hers
He was tempted to feel how her lips tasted but he shook the thought off immediately
He pushed a strand of hair which was covering her face backwards and made to stand up but she held him
At first, he thought She was awake but she was very much fast asleep
” Why is he so mean to me?” She asked in her sleep
” Can’t he just like me even if it’s for a day?” she asked and held his hands more firmly
“He should be nice to me even if he doesn’t like me” she pouted cutely from her sleep and he smiled slightly before releasing his hands from his grip
“I will try then… I will try to be nice to you” He muttered before walking back to his seat
“She’s asleep?” Collins appeared after a while
“And where the hell did you run off too?” Dean shouted
“Hey.. you’re loud,,, kaylan is asleep” Collins cautioned
“What’s happening?” That was kaylan’s voice
“You’ve woken her up” Collins said
“I didn’t mean too punk” Dean replied
“Are you done with the meeting?” Kaylan asked Dean
“There was no meeting. I said that to get away from you” he replied truthfully
“Ohh,, You must really h@ťě me” She muttered lowly but he heard her
“You two can go home. I will just stay till the day is over” Collins smiled mischievously at Dean
“You’re falling for her aren’t you” Collins whispered to him
“Falling my @zz” He replied
He turned to Kaylan. “Let’s go then.. he said to her and she smiled at him while he smiled back but quickly frown
“What am I doing?” He wondered and Collins giggled softly
“God!! I can’t believe I’m loosing the love of my life to someone else” Collins said sarcastically
“Craziness at it’s peak” Dean replied and walk out of the office with kaylan
