Shana bit her lower lips after realizing what she has done
“Vincenzo is your brother? She asked again

Shana sigh knowing that she can’t hide anything from her best friend, she decided to say the truth

” He is my grumpy brother that I have been telling you about” Shana replied
Of course she knew Shana came from a wealthy background and also about her having a brother including her surname being DeMarcus but she never expected that she is Vincenzo sister or because she didn’t think about it

“Stop being dramatic” Charmaine roll her eyes
” You look pale baby” Shana uttered in concern
“I guess it’s stress” she shrug
” I don’t think you should go to work today, you look so sick and disoriented” we should go for a check up”
“Am fine Shana, stop being paranoid”Charmaine replied
” Am not paranoid, this is about your health! Shana snapped
“I know, don’t worry bestie,I promise to go for a check up before coming home”
” You sure? Shana asked
“Very sure, she replied and pick her bag which was on the couch

” I just hope she will be okay” Shana muttered with a sigh before walking to her room

“d@mn am late! Shana cursed as she steps out of the elevator
She was suprise to see Sean (Chris PA) waiting at her office
” Good morning Sean” she greeted dropping her bag
” Good morning Shana,boss said you should see him when you resume”Sean said
” Ok” thanks” she replied and Sean smile before leaving
Getting to Chris door, she breathe out before knocking
“Come in” she heard him say
She opens the door slowly before entering
” Good morning sir” she greeted
” You are late Miss DeMarcus” Chris said not bothering to reply her greeting
“Am sorry sir, there was traffic on the way” she apologize and he nodded
“I need your help with something Miss DeMarcus”
“Anything boss” she replied with a smile
” Am getting married” he dropped the bombshell and Shana almost staggered
You are..”Getting… married?? She repeated hoping that she heard wrong but to her dismay she didn’t
” Yes,he replied and her heart shattered

“Thank you” Charmaine said to the cabman as she came out of the taxi
“Good morning” she greeted the guards at the entrance
” Good morning” the guards replies shocking her to the core
“Wow! They just replied me” she muttered as she walked inside
Getting to the living room, she was surprised to see Vincenzo
” Good morning sir” she greeted without stuttering
“Hum” Vincenzo nodded staring at her weirdly
His stares on her made her nervous
She was about to continue walking when his voice stopped her
“You look sick” she heard his voice which was full of concern
“Am fine sir, I guess
” Ok, You should take care of yourself’
“I will, thank you sir” she bowed and turn back to the stairs with her heart beating loudly
She climbed the first stair and was about to climb the second when dizziness hit her, her legs became wobble that she couldn’t move it

” Hey are you okay? He asked climbing the stairs to her
“Yes I am okay, just a small headache” she lied
“Are you sure? Do you need to go to the hospital? He asked holding her arms

She couldn’t complete her words before passing out in his arms
” Charmaine! Vincenzo shouted calling her by name
