” Goodnight Sir” she replied mouthful and Karl bowed to Veronica who was just coming downstairs before he left
“Mom are you okay, you look worried? Charmaine asked in concern
” Am fine daughter” she replied with a fake smile
To be sincere, she is not okay, she had been trying to get through to Xander but couldn’t which got her worried.

Veronica groaned in her sleep as she felt indifferent, the breeze was blowing wildly and the squeaking sounds of trees,the birds were chirping loudly which was unusual
Suddenly Veronica’s door let out a creaking sounds as it was open slowly,a dark figure enter the room walking silently towards Veronica’s bed
Feeling a presence in her room, Veronica eyes snapped open
Beads of sweat were rolling down from her forehead and her body temperature rise
She tried to stand up but the hotness she felt in her body made it hard for her, she was able to help herself up finally
If she had known she shouldn’t have woken up, if she had known she should have ignored the unusual feeling and now she is facing an animalistic figure which she had never seen before
“Noooooooo!!! A deafening scream left her mouth as she saw the farmiliar ghost which was Karl and she jumped to the other side of the room
Karl was wearing a shirt filled with blood and a trouser which was half burnt revealing his thigh which had a Burnt bruises and scratch
She kept screaming for help hoping they would hear her but who was she kidding her soundproof was on,no matter how much she should no one will be able to hear her but she never give up
” Ghost! Help! Ghost! Help!! Ghost! She shouted and Karl started laughing loudly scaring her the more as she stared crying, seeing her tears made him more that his laughter kept increasing
“You think you can live happily after ki||ing me”he asked in between laughter showing his bloody teeth
“Do you know the pains of being burnt inside a car after being shot? He asked walking closer to her
” Stay away from me! Don’t come near me! She cried holding tightly to the wall and Karl laugh,
Veronica saw this as a chance to escape, she release the wall and ran towards the door, thankfully it was locked, she open the day
” Ghost! She screamed running out of her room closing the door with a bang
“Vincenzo!! She shouted and Immediately Vincenzo burst out of his room same as Charmaine and little Nick
“Mom are you okay? Vincenzo asked rushing to her
” Vincenzo.. I just.. saw a ghost… inside..my .. room” she stuttered nervously holding Vincenzo arms
“Mom calm down, there’s no ghost here”Vincenzo replied
” I know what am saying Vincenzo,I just saw your dad’s ghost!!! She snapped in tears getting everyone confused

” NOT XANDER!!! AM TALKING ABOUT KARL YOUR REAL DAD WHO I SHOT TO DEATH AND BURNT HIM IN HIS CAR!!! She screamed out before she could stop herself
