(Once upon a prophecy)
“Yours?” Diana whispered, she tried to widen her eyes that were slowly shutting, but she couldn’t.
Her eyelids were getting heavier.
“Yes, you’re mine.” Nate smirked, he grabbed her hand and threw it over his neck.
He carried her up in his arms and looked at the burnt and dead girls on the floor. His eyes darkened and their bodies turned to ashes and went with the wing.
“Good riddance to bad rubbish.”Nate chuckled and vanished with Diane.

The school bell rang and all the students rushed out. Chase looked around for his twin sister but couldn’t find her.
He wanted to talk to her before but the teacher restricted him from leaving. He had been stuck in class since that time but finally, he was out.
He rushed to Flora and told her everything that happened, thinking she could help.
“Flo, I don’t know what to do. She’s already missing, let’s go find her.” Chase said agitatedly.
Flora rolled her eyes and replied nonchalant; “Look at me well, do I seem like I care? That girl is f×cking three hundred years old. She should be able to take care of herself!”
“Flo, she doesn’t have powers. I’m scared. They’re going to ki|| her and Chloe didn’t say those words like a joke. Let’s go find her.” Chase urged.
Flora smirked and started walking away.
Chase gasped and held her back.
“Aren’t you helping me?”
“Why would Chloe and Kent try to ki|| a nobody like Diane? She’s not even worth their time. Stop being ridiculous!” Flora hissed and jerked his hand off.
She walked away, not caring or taking his words seriously.
Tears filled with Chase’s eyes and he stomped his feet on the ground.
“Sh×t!” He cussed and gripped hair in frustration. “Diane, where are you?”

The Ashton’s mansion (Palace)
After hours passed, Diane snapped her eyes open and the first thing she saw was the ceiling.
She blinked rapidly and sat up. When she looked at her body, all her wounds had been healed and she was in a different and cleaner dress.
“Where am I?” Diane asked herself and looked around the luxurious room. It was so beautiful, she didn’t take a good look at it when she last came.
“That monster brought me.” Diane muttered and sighed. She stretched her hands and looked at them.
“I don’t heal this fast, did he heal me?”Diane said aloud.
“Yes I did.” Nate appeared seated in front of her and his sudden presence caused her to scream.
“Ah!” Diane panicked and moved away from him.
“You always have the habit of running from me but when you were getting beaten, you couldn’t run. Tch! So pathetic.” Nate said and rolled his eyes.
“I have weak powers and unlike you, I’m not strong or feared. Everyone picks on me.” Diane said sadly and lowered her gaze.
“Yeah because you’re a f**l. There are some people with similar weak powers but they make themselves intimidating. Even a child can bully you! Don’t expect me to appear every second to save you!” Nate glared at her.
“And why are you acting upset? Did I force you to save me?” She glared back but recalled who she was speaking to.
Nate grabbed her waist and pulled her closer.
“No, I saved you because you’re mine. No one has the right to hurt you.”
Diane blinked rapidly at him, this was the first time that someone would openly defend her or not have intentions to hurt her.
‘Why is acting this way?Does he like me? Oh no!’ she panicked.
“Monste…I mean your majesty. We aren’t in the same class.” Diane reminded him.
“I don’t care. You’re mine.”
“I can’t be yours, my heart belongs to someone else.”She ranted and his hands left her waist.
Diane used the opportunity to crawl out of the bed.
‘I like your son. Nothing can happen between us, moreover, I can’t be like a monster.’ Diane thought and frowned at him.
“Diane you’re mi—” before he could complete his sentence, she vanished.
Nate was dumbstruck.

Amanda’s fortress.
“I can’t take it anymore!” Nate growled as he arrived at her place.
“What is the problem?” Amanda asked with a eyeroll, she was the king’s trusted seer.
“That little brat vanished in my presence. I didn’t even get to finish my sentence. Oh I want to ki|| her!” Nate yelled.
“You can’t ki|| Diane yet till she falls in love with you.” Amanda said.
“Really?? I slept with her, giving her the night of her life, disrespecting the memory of my queen…”
“Your wife is dead.” Amanda reminded me.
“I don’t care! I saved her @zz from getting ki||ed, wasted my powers on healing her but all she could say was ‘my heart belongs to someone else'” He said, mimicking Diane.
Amanda had prophesied that the first woman Nate would see if he went outside the palace yesterday would be more powerful than him. Amanda told him everything about the strange woman’s powers.
Diane turns out to be the first woman he sees.
Diane unknowingly has great powers but they lie in her heart, once she truly falls in love, her power would start manifesting.
Nate knew this and that’s why he has been treating Diane leniently and well. Hisyintention was to make her fall for him, activate her powers and claim it.
He can claim Diane’s powers by ripping her heart out and using it for a potion. That was his plan all along, he had no good intentions.
“Just have patience, she’s still young.” Amanda smiled.
“She’s not young, she’s annoying! I can’t wait to end her once and for all!”Nate yelled, his eyes darkening dangerously.
