Two years later.
Things had changed within two years. Diane was estranged from her family, she hadn’t had contact with any of them since she left.
She wasn’t schooling in the Ash Magical College anymore. Nate helped her to transfer to another college outside the kingdom.
Within just two years, she had gotten to the point of graduation. Her powers had improved so much and developed to a great level. A lot of people were jealous and liked her in college.
The magicians who were her teachers liked her a lot. They termed her their best student because of her brilliance.
Diane had never felt so peaceful, she was so happy being away from all the negativity. Though Chase and she spoke, they weren’t as close as before.
She was happy about his promotion to the class in which Bonnie stayed. As for Flora, Diane had never talked with her since that day but Chase told her that Flora got pregnant and had to drop out.
Her father had been bullying her since the moment he discovered that she was pregnant. Diane didn’t care, she had cut off with them and had no intention of reconciling or intervening with them or their affairs.
She had to look forward to a good life which was graduating with one of the best magical powers and getting her certificate.
“Hey Babe!.” Her friend, Leia sat by her side.
“Hey,” Diane smiled at her.
Leia had been her friend from the first day of her resumption. She was so nice to her and unlike other people that were in her life, Leia was a genuine sweetheart.
“Have you read your history book?” Leia asked, she had magical powers but was more of a witch.
“Yeah, I’m reading the vampire parts,” Diane smiled and brought out a big book from her bag. “There were a lot of things about vampirism. Not just normal vampires but the original vampires…”
“I’ve heard of them and read but let me see if this book has anything different to say…” Leia smiled and brought out her book.
But as she flipped through the pages, she closed the book.
“Tell me about that hot boyfriend of yours…” Leia said, excitedly.
Diane smiled and faced her; “He fûčked me so hard yesterday that I could hardly get up this morning.”
“Goodness!!!, I need a guy with some good dîčk!” Leia yelled.
“Shush! Babe, are you crazy?” Diane scolded her in embarrassment.

“Bye, Diane” Leia waved at her and blew a kiss.
“Bye, babe.” Diane smiled and walked to her apartment.
As she got to the door, she sensed that someone was inside. Using her powers, she was able to see the person through the door.
Her smile broadened and she quickly unlocked her door. She entered inside and turned on the lamp see Nate, standing in her sitting room.
“Nate!!!” Diane locked the door behind her and rushed to hug him. “You visited.”
Nate wrapped his hands around her and smiled. “I missed you so much.”
Nate and her officially dated after he regained her trust and changed for the better. Meanwhile, Kent was sent away to receive punishment for trying to ki|| his father.
Nate didn’t want to punish him but Kent insisted on going. He wanted to learn how to be a good king and become trained by the most fantastic yet strict masters.
Nate accepted and sent him there. Nate visited him sometimes and they had been able to achieve an ‘Okay’ father and child relationship. Their bond wasn’t too strong but Kent was warming up to him and his manners were changing as well.
“I missed you too.” Diane giggled and pulled away from the hug.
“How was school?” Nate asked, taking his hands to her cheek and caressing it.
“It was good. How are the affairs in the kingdom? Are you being a good king or a bad one?” She squinted funnily at him.
Nate laughed and pulled him to himself. “I’m being a good king but I can be a bad one, if you want…”
Diane chuckled when he winked at her.
“Let me go to the kitchen and make something for us,” Diane said and wanted to walk away but Nate pulled her back.
“Problem solved.”He pointed at the food on the couch.
“Comfort food.” Diane smiled.
“It’s just what I needed.”
Diane rushed to eat the food and Nate sat beside her, watching her.
“Won’t you eat?” Diane asked.
Nate shook his head and simply smiled. However, his eyes widened when she finished the meal, snack, and ice cream at a fast pace without seeing anything.
“Didn’t you see anything in the food?” Nate asked in shock.
“No,” Diane shook her head.
“Goodness, did you just swallow a ring?” Nate gasped.
“Ring?” Diane’s eyes widened.
“Yes, I wanted to propose but you’ve swallowed the ring.” Nate ended up laughing because he didn’t know what to do again.
“You want to marry me?” Diane looked at him.
“Yes.” Nate sighed and knelt in front of her. “I don’t have a ring now but, Diane, will you marry me?”
Diane’s eyes brimmed with happiness. “Of course, I’ll marry you!”
She fell to her knees and hugged him. Nate hugged her happily and kissed the nape of her neck. They looked at each other and kissed passionately.
“Yes, I’m ready to be Mrs Ashton.” Diane grinned on his lips.
“No, you’re ready to be my queen, my butterfly.” Nate smiled and kissed her lips again. “I love you.”
“I love you too.” Diane giggled and circled her hands around his neck.
“But, seriously. How could you swallow a ring?” Nate asked and the both of them laughed loudly.
“Hahaha.”
“You should have just given me the ring. Well, I have the ring but it’s in my stomach now…” Diane chuckled.
“Hahaha.” Nate laughed.
