CHAPTER 14.

(She’s just his sacrificial lamb)

Bonnie’s house.

Bonnie shut the door to her room and sat down at her desk. She opened the magic book she had been studying and started to read. She was determined to do well on the upcoming magic tests. As she read, she thought about Chase and lilith.

She couldn’t help feeling jealous and distracted but suddenly she heard a noise behind her.

She turned around and saw Hector, standing in the corner of her room.

“How did you get in here?” Bonnie asked, shocked. “What are you doing here, Hector?”

Hector smiled, but there was something off about his expression. His eyes were cold.

Bonnie took a step back, her heart racing. “What do you want?” she asked, her voice shaking.

She didn’t like being around him.

Hector’s smile widened, revealing a set of gleaming white teeth. “I need your help,” he said. “My parents are taking me to live in another Kingdom in a few hours, and I can’t leave without you.”

“What are you talking about?” Bonnie stammered. “I’m not going anywhere with you!” realizing where the conversation might be headed to.

Hector’s face hardened. “You don’t have a choice,” he said, his voice low and menacing. “You’re coming with me, whether you like it or not.

Bonnie’s eyes darted around the room, looking for a way out. She spotted a vase on the desk, and an idea began to form in her mind.

“You’re delusional,” she said, trying to sound calm and confident. “I’m not going anywhere with you. Now get out of my room.”

Hector’s eyes narrowed. “You’re going to regret this,” he hissed. He started to move towards Bonnie, but she was faster. She used her powers and hurled the vase at him, catching him off guard. The vase shattered against the wall behind him, startling him.

Hector’s face twisted in anger, and he lunged towards Bonnie. She scrambled out of the way, but he caught her arm, his grip like iron.

“Let go of me!” Bonnie shouted, struggling to free herself. But Hector only held on tighter, his fingers digging into her skin.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Hector froze, his eyes wide with fear.

Bonnie took advantage of his distraction and wriggled out of his grasp. Before he could react, she ran to the door and opened it. Standing on the other side was Chloe.

“Bonnie, I need to speak to you.” Chloe said and barged in but she was shocked by the mess and Hector’s presence.

“What are you doing here?” Chloe asked.

“None of your business!” He growled desperately and tried approaching Bonnie but Chloe used her powers to pull her away further into the room.

“What’s up with you?” Chloe yelled.

“Don’t get involved in this, she’s mine!” He yelled. “If you aren’t careful, I will do the unthinkable.”

Chloe’s hands clenched into fists. “You can’t scare me,” she said, her voice shaking with anger. “I’m not afraid of you.”

“You should be,” Hector said, a twisted grin on his face. “You don’t know what I’m capable of.”

Bonnie’s eyes widened, and she gripped Chloe’s hand tighter.

They were planning to disappear but
heard the sound of footsteps echoing down the hall. A moment later, Bonnie’s mother burst into the room, her eyes wide with alarm.

“What’s going on?” she asked, her voice shaking. Her eyes landed on Hector, and her face darkened. “What are you doing here?”

Hector opened his mouth to reply, but before he could say a word, he vanished into thin air. Bonnie stood frozen in shock, staring at the spot where he had been standing.

Bonnie’s mother rushed to her side, wrapping her in a tight hug. “Are you okay?”

As Bonnie’s mother held her close, Chloe spoke up, her voice still trembling with fear. “Hector was trying to take Bonnie away with him,” she said. “I don’t know where he was taking her, but I’m glad he’s gone.”

Bonnie’s mother pulled back and looked at her daughter, her eyes filled with worry. “Are you okay?” she asked, her voice filled with concern. “Did he hurt you?”

Bonnie shook her head, her eyes still wide with shock. “No, he didn’t hurt me,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

After hugging and everything, Chloe promised to protect her. Bonnie’s mom reluctantly left but promised to return at the sign of trouble.

Chloe and Bonnie sat on the bed and Bonnie kept thanking her.

” It’s okay but I need you to help me with a plan against Diane.” Chloe said and whispered something into her ear.

“That’s too evil, I’m not doing it.” Bonnie shook her head in disapproval.

“I just saved your life, that’s the least you owe you.” Chloe frowned at her. “You’re in yes or no, not like you have a choice.”

‘But she’s Chase’a sister.’ Bonnie thought and her face saddened.

“Okay, I’ll do it.” Bonnie sighed.

Days passed and with each day Diane began noticing her powers getting better and a lot tougher to handle.

That night, Nate thought it was the best time to complete his mission.

“Hey, my butterfly.” He smiled as he walked into his room.

Diane who was laying down on the bed, crawled out of it and ran to hug him.

“Where have you been?” She asked with a smile. No one knew she was living in the mansion not even Kent.

Nate also had guards following her, she thought he was doing it because he loved her.

“I went about some duties with elders.” Nate replied and pecked her hair, wrapping one hand around her waist.

“I’m going to make this less painful for you, so I will do it from behind.” He had no emotion in his tone as he spoke.

Diana chuckled, not knowing what he was talking about, “Do you want to fûčk me from behind? Well, it would be quite painful, we’ve never done that before.”

Nate sighed and whispered with an faked affectionate tone; “Close your eyes, I have a surprise for you. Don’t peek.”

Diane giggled happily, she hugged him tightly, buried her face in his chest and innocently closed to her eyes unknown to her that it was time for her death.

Nate stretched forth his hand and the dagger appeared. He slowly raised it up to stab her from the back, making the dagger th-ru_st into her heart.

“Where’s the surprise—” her words were cut short with a painful gasp that escaped her lips.

She looked up at Nate with tears in her eyes.
