Starr’s heart was hurting till he got to the park, he entered his car and held his chest tightly, trying not to pass out.
He groaned heavily as the pains spread all-over his chest slowly.
He badly wants to go back and console her so she’ll stop crying but the kiss video won’t leave his head.
It’s still so lucid and though she made the first move, he couldn’t help but feel like ki||ing Tom right now for reciprocating.
The pains started subsiding and he started breathing hard, resting back on his seat.
His driver opened the front door and came in.
“I went to get something to eat, are you ok master?” He asked.
“Drive me home” Starr replied.
“Home?, Why?, It’s still so early”
“Just drive” Starr replied.
“Yes master” the driver sat and drove him out of the school.

It was actually Martin who calmed Lotus down though she’s still hiccuping in her squatting position.
He bent beside her and patted her gently as her tears ended.
“Won’t you get away from me?, Everyone is saying I’m a Ɓîtçh” she said, looking up at him.
“Why did you do it though?, Why did you kiss Tom?” He asked.
“Even if I explain, you won’t understand” she replied and stood.
“I won’t understand?, Why?”
“You just won’t” she replied and started walking to class while he followed.
Returning to class was a daring this to do because the students won’t stop throwing stinging words at her.
Calling her names as she walked past the hallway till she got to class.
Kat is gone but the sharp eyes of the students almost bored holes in her body as they stared.
Mr Roger stopped talking and looked at her too, she stood still, unable to move.
Martin came in and when he saw what’s going on, he moved closer to her.
“Go on, don’t be scared” he whispered and she looked at him.
He nodded and she walked to her seat beside Constance.
“Are you….ok?” Constance asked.
“I… guess” she replied and Constance smiled.
Ophelia and Enolla were called out to lead the singers , they’ll sing alone this time, no instruments.
“REVERIE by Prima donna Paisley” Mr Roger said, passing them the book.
They took it and stood beside each other, facing the class.

Sweet memories

Enolla: I wanna live in the reverie!!
The first line she sang literally spoilt the whole thing and she took a deep breath before singing the next line which was even worse than the first.
“Enolla it’s ok, stop singing” Mr Roger said and she stopped, breathing heavily.
“Why exactly are you here if you can’t even sing a line?”
“I’m not here to learn songs anyway, I came here for Bluey Kings” she said.
“Whoa!!!!” Everyone chorused and Bluey smirked.
“Dude you got a bride” Martin teased.
“Shut up” Bluey glared.
Lotus’s mind left the class throughout and stayed with Starr, she didn’t hear anything from what Mr Roger said or the songs they sang throughout and when it finally ended, she buried her face in her desk.
“Lotus, Lotus are you sure you’re ok?” Constance asked again.
“Yes” she replied silently.
“Lotus you need to explain things to us” Yolanda said, coming to her desk.
“If we’re really friends, then tell us the meaning of that video?, Was it real or did Kat manipulate it?” Constance asked.
Rhythm kept quiet.
Lotus slowly raised her head from the table.
“I didn’t do that intensionally, something triggered it but if i explain, you guys won’t understand” she said.
“You didn’t do it intensionally?, You mean you were forced to kiss him?” Rhythm finally talked.
“I wasn’t forced” Lotus replied.
“Then talk to us and stop confusing us!” Rhythm shouted.
“Don’t shout at her” Yolanda said.
Rhythm picked her bag and left the class immediately without saying bye.
Lotus picked on her nails as she kept her head low, Yolanda started stroking her hair.
Constance turned her face to herself.
“I love you, even if you refuse to tell us what happened, that won’t change anything” she said.
“Constance” Lotus whispered.
“We do, and you better hold up your head, don’t act scared else they’ll take out their plights and frustrations on you” Yolanda said from her other side.
“I love you both” Lotus said, feeling emotional as she hugged them both at a time.
They later walked her to the park and met Bluey and Martin waiting.
“Even if you really kissed him like it was in the video, I don’t blame you since he reciprocated, the sight was interesting” Bluey said with a wink.
“Don’t cry anymore … Ok?” Martin said and Lotus nodded before entering her car.

LUTHER’S MANSION**
Martin has the kiss video in mind throughout the drive home, she really actually kissed Tom and it’s bothersome.
“Is she in love with Tom?”
The way she grabbed Tom before kissing him was so full of vigour and he wished he was the one in Tom’s position.
When they got home, he still stayed in the car, lost in thoughts.
“We’ve arrived” his driver said and he came down.
He held the knob and was about to open the door when he started hearing voices.
It’s definitely his dad’s and mum’s.
He decided to stay still and listen.
“What do you have to say?” Mr Luther asked.
“I actually… have something to request for” Mrs Luther replied
“What?”
“I need some. some money from you, I need it to … Treat my skin….the bruises caused dark spots and acne, I want to get rid of them” she replied and Martin could hear his dad laughing.
“Of course, I should give you” Mr Luther said and transferred the treatment money to her.
“Thanks” she replied and he stood, walking to her.
He stroked her hair .
“See?, If you continue being obedient to me, there’ll be no reason to beat you, I’m a good man you know?” He said and Mrs Luther nodded fearfully.
He got his suitcase and left the house.
Martin quickly hid when he felt he’s coming out already.
He left in his car and Martin went in.
“Martin you’re back” Mrs Luther smiled.
“Yes” he replied.
“I’ll transfer some money to you, get yourself the things you need, it’s been long since you got new things” she said.
“The money you collected to treat yourself?” He replied.
“You…heard?” She asked surprisingly.
“Everything” he replied, walking to her.
He hugged her tightly.
“Till when are you gonna keep doing things to your own detriment because of me?, Till when?” He said.
“Just a little time is left” she replied, hugging him back.
“If I’ll have to sell my car so we can leave this house, then I’ll do that, let’s sell my car and yours” he replied.
