A WEEK LATER ~ SYDNEY’S NATIONAL HOSPITAL***
Lucian sits in the hospital bed, as Seraphina feeds him.
“Am okay now”. Lucian muttered weakly.
He has been on unconscious for days, and has just recently woken up.
His eyes were dull, his lips were dried and pale, and looking at him, you could easily tell he fought with dealth, just to be alive.
“Are you sure, the doctor said you need to eat alot to recover quickly”.
“Am okay sera”.
“Or maybe I should just get the doctor”. Seraphina said, and attempted to leave, but Lucian held her hand.
“Am fine Sera, just…stay here with me”. He muttered weakly.
Seraphina looks at him, and slowly sits back in the chair, very close to Lucian.
“Am sorry Sera”.
“Why’re you sorry Lucian”.
“You became skinny Because of me, you lost a lost of weight thanks to me”.
Seraphina held his hands, and said.
“I should be the one apologizing to you Lucian, because of me, you almost died, am so sorry Lucian, and thank you so much for surving, thank you so much for fighting for your life”. Seraphina said hicupping in tears.
Lucian taps the bed, and reading his signs, Seraphina sits in the bed with him.
Lucian used his thumb, to Clean the tears in her eyes.
“There was no way I was going to leave you behind in this chaotic world, where the person who wants you dead is still unknown, that’s why I fought with dealth, so I can come back to you”.
“Thank you Lucian”. Seraphina muttered, and hugs him so tightly.
She knew she would have died too if by chance he didn’t survive the gun shot.
The amount of love she has for him was unmeasurable.
“Have you informed the police about what happened”. Lucian asked caressing her back gently.
Seraphina broke the hug, and looks at him.
“Yes I have, they’re just waiting for you to recover before interrogating you ”
“I can do that now Sera”
“Are you sure about that, you just woke up after being unconscious for days, I don’t want to stress you out Lucian”.
“I’ll be fine Sera, a stitch in time saves nine, a little delay might bring another danger, I don’t want anymore danger to befall you, I know what he looks like Sera”.
“You saw the man who shot you”. She asked.
“Yes I did, I Saw him clearly, before he pulled the trigger”. Lucian answers, and Seraphina looks at him.
NEXT DAY***
The police men, Paisley and Seraphina watched Lucian as he sketch a drawing of the man that shot him.
And since he’s good at drawing, he was able to draw the identity of the Man.
“Here, is the sketch of the man”. Lucian said and handles the drawing paper to the police Men.
“So this is what he looks like”. One of them asked.
And Lucian nods.
“Yes, that exactly how he looks like, will that help”.
“Yes it’ll Lucian, we’ll begin the search immediately”.
“Thanks alot officer”. Seraphina said.
“Is nothing Seraphina, your the face of Australia, so is a must we help find the person who wants you dead, we’ll update you immediately once we find the person who shot Lucian, then we can know if he’s working for someone or working to have you ki||ed”. One of them said and Seraphina nods.
“I’ll just see them off Seraphina”. Paisley said.
“Thanks Paisley”. Seraphina muttered.
And the police Men leaves the ward with Paisley.
“Are you okay Sera”.
“I should be the one asking you that Lucian your the one who’s admitted here, and not me”. Seraphina said sitting in the bed with him.
“I want to leave this hospital”.
“No you can’t, the doctor said you’ll only get discharged after a week”.
“I don’t want to stay here Sera, your the face of Australia right, you should convince him to discharge your boyfriend already”. Lucian said pouting and blinking his eyes like a baby.
“Nah…tsk tsk tsk, I admit your cute right now, but am not going to fall for it, your going to stay here still the doctor says you should leave…ok”.
And Lucian frowns.
“I missed you Lucian”. Seraphina said smiling.
“Well I don’t miss you, not even one bit”.
“Your Jocking right”.
“No I’m not”.
Seraphina frowns
“Then go back to the land of the dead”. Seraphina said and hits his chest, backing him.
And Lucian starts groaning in pain, giving Seraphina so much fear.
“Lucian, are you alright”.
But Lucina shakes his head, groaning in so much pain like he was going to die anytime soon.
“Lucian, you were okay just now, so what’s going on”. Seraphina said already crying.
And when Lucian saw her tears, he began to laughs.
“I thought you said I should just go back to the land of the dead, so why’re you crying”. Lucian said laughing.
And Seraphina’s jaw dropped, alongside with her tears.
“So you mean you were just jocking right now”.
And Lucina nods his head laughing, and Seraphina hits his chest.
“How could you crank such an expensive joke, do you know how scared I was, you almost gave me a heart attack”. Seraphina still sniffing back her tears.
“I thought you said you wanted me to go back to the land of the dead”.
“You should know I didn’t mean that, I was just playing around”.
“I too was jocking when I said I didn’t miss you, I miss you so much, that’s why I defeated dealth, just see your beautiful face again”.
And Seraphina smiles, taking the strand of hair to the back of her ear.
“Really”. She muttered blushing.
Lucian nods smiling, he pulls her closer, and wrapped his left hand around her waist, since his right hand was connected with a drip.
“Yes I do, is just that you need to gain back the weight you lost, you ain’t even fat, and you had to loose weight to the weight you don’t even have in the first place, your B-__-bs even became more smaller, I can’t even see it”. Lucian said with his eyes fixed on her B-__-bs, attempting to touch her b***bs.
“Yah Lucian!!!”. Seraphina yells at him, covering her chest with her hands.
And Lucian laughs.
