“Objection your honor leading,” Danica banged her fist against her desk, standing on her feet
“Sustained,” the judge said
Samantha chuckled
“No further questions your honor,” Samantha returned to her seat
Danica stood, her walking steps alone sent shivers down the girl’s spine, her hand shaking as Danica walked gracefully toward her
“Joey, you still remember that you’re under an oat, right?” She asked calmly, she has some files in her hand
Joey nodded
“Words,”
“Yes,” she replied
“Do you have any idea what will happen if you lie under oath in the court of law,” Danica asked again
“Objection your honor thr_@t,” Samantha stood
“Counselor go straight to the point,” the judge said
“You told the police that you wanted to have s*x cos you feel like and everyone was doing it, right?” Danica asked, staring directly into her eyes

She started feeling bad immediately after reading that
“That signed board is at the front of your school gate,” Danica pressed the button again and it switched to another

“That is 15 meters away from your house and this one,” she switched it to another one
“Unprotected s*x can lead to unwanted pregnancy and infections, use cond*m today and save yourself from long time regret,” Joey read out loud, by the time she finished streams of tears were rolling down her eyes
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry I didn’t remember,” she shouted, sobbing
“You were sent to school and you went for personal pleasure, trying to take life because you feel like…..”
“No, they told me that it’s my body that I have the right to do what I want with it,” Joey hiccupped, cleaning her eyes with the back of her palms
“There are consequences for every action, you called the cops on your parents because they forbid you from committing a crime and you think it’s your right?” Danica asked, going closer
“I’m sorry, Mummy I’m sorry tell her to stop,” Joey shouted
“You think it’s your right to ki|| what if you were ki||ed by your mother also? And did you tell the guy to use protection? Let’s start from there,” Danica stopped right in front of her, staring directly into her eyes
Joey started shaking, her lips quivering, stream of tears rolling down her eyes

“Objection your honor she’s attacking the victim,” Samantha stood
“I’m sorry,” Joey hiccupped with endless tears rolling down her eyes
“Counselor,” the Judge called and Danica withdraws back
“No further questions your honor,” She walked back to her seat, her gaze fixed on the girl
Joey’s mother whispered a word into Samantha’s ear and she nodded
“Your honor the people wish to drop the charge…..”
“Objection your honor, this is endangering the safety and life of a fetus,” Danica stood
“Objection your honor, my client has the right to do wh@ťěver she wants with her body and her parents approved of it,” Samantha objected instantly
“Objection your honor, abortion is a felony murder in the second degree….”
“What kind of a lawyer are you? Why are you doing this to the poor girl? She’s not just a kid….”
“She should have thought of that before having unprotected s*x….”
“Order!!” The judge hit the gravel once and everywhere became silent
“I will not accept any form of misconduct in my courtroom,” she snapped angrily
Samantha lowered her head, Danica slightly bowed
“My apologies your honor,” Samantha said
“Forgive my manners your honor,” Danica replied

“This Court is adjourned till 2:00 Tomorrow,” The judge hit the gravel

Mr. Winfrey rushed into the ward, his eyes widened when he saw Justin laying unconsciously in the hospital bed
“Anna, what happened? Who did this? Who did this to my son?” He demanded instantly
“Donovan did,” She replied
“That prodigal son, how dare he?” Mr. Winfrey roared
Meanwhile, Joy was checking him, she finished and look at Anna before taking her gaze to Mr. Winfrey
“Is my son gonna be alright?” Mr. Winfrey asked panicking
She nodded
“Yes, he won’t be using his left hand for a couple of weeks cos his bone was fractured, but he will be fine once he’s out of the coma,” Joy replied with a light smile
“Donovan, I will so deal with you,” Mr. Winfery roared gritting his teeth
“And what happened to the camera I asked you to set?” He turned to Anna
“Why haven’t I seen a thing?” He further asked, glaring dangerously at her
“She’s a witch, I set on but the stupid maid came in so I wasn’t able to fix all of it but I will do it today, I promise,” Anna replied gently
“Donovan I will be your end,” Mr. Winfery snarled filled with rage

BAKERY*
Mrs. Manchester was serving customers when the bakery owner called her
“I will be right back, just help me out a little,” she said to Rolando and he nodded
Walking out she met the owner of the Bakery who was talking with someone, staring closer she noticed that it was the same man who came to the school
“Sir,”
“Mrs. Manchester meet Mr. Winfrey, he asked to see you,” The man said pointing at him
“Oh, sir if it’s about the money then I promise to pay before the weekend, my husband and I ……”
“Stop right there,” Mr. Winfrey cut in
He is currently sitting in the owner’s office, his both legs crossed together
“Listen, let’s make it quick and easy for the both of us, you’re a beautiful woman,” he licked his lips and winked at her
Mrs. Manchester stayed calm
“You can pay in kind,” Mr. Winfrey said, staring at her chest before taking his gaze to her waist
“I beg your pardon,”
“Oh come on, what is a beautiful woman doing with a wretched man?” He stood going closer
She stood her ground
“I will like to see your garden, pouring water into it and watch it …..” She didn’t let him finish before turning around to leave
Mr. Winfrey pulled her back by her arms, spanking her @zz in the process
A loud thunderous slap landed on his cheek instantly, he was forced to bend down, his left hand on his cheek
She really hit him hard cos his cheek is burning like h*ll
“Idiot,” she spat and stormed off
Rolando saw her coming towards him and made to smile but he stopped when he saw the look on her face
“Mom, is everything alright?” He asked gently
She faked a smile and nodded
“Yes, son,” Mrs. Manchester replied

A Customer requested, she was about serving them when her boss Mr. Roger came back
“You’re fired, you have 15 minutes to leave this building,” he said and turned to leave
Rolando gasped in shock, what just happened? Why is his mother fired? Did she do something wrong?
“Mr. Roger I have been working here for 4 yrs, why will you just fire me?” Mrs. Manchester asked, trying not to break down
“My bakery is at stake, you have been a good employee but for the sake of my bakery I have to let you go, you have 15 minutes,” he said and worked away
Mrs. Manchester couldn’t believe what just happened, after all the hard work she put into the company’s growth and they are gonna kick her out in just a day
“Mom,” Rolando called gently, he was already in tears
“You might need this,” Mr. Winfrey threw his card at her, then he walked past
