Fernando’s eyes widened insanely as Luxury kissed him hard, and his heart started racing like crazy.
He quickly held her slim waist and started kissing her back as hard as she’s kissing him.
Not minding the people around, they clung fondly to each other like lovers who just met again after a long separation.
Spencer was still searching for Luxury when he saw them, and he stopped on his tracks immediately.
His throat ran dry, and his foot got gummed to his spot as he stared at them.
Luxury never allowed the kiss to be broken till she ran out of breath.
She broke it slowly, but she never stopped looking at Fernando.
Her heart was beating so fast as a result of the fear that Fernando was in the fire, and also because of something else she understands.
Fernando smiled before holding her face, then he started wiping the tears.
“I’m sorry for scaring you, forgive me Luxy” he said, still wiping till the last trace.
Luxury didn’t stay a word, she only stared at him, so he hugged her tightly while stroking her hair.
“I’m sorry” he whispered, and she hugged him back slowly.
Spencer left the scene quickly. He got in his car and drove off fast.
Immediately Fernando broke the hug, he carried Luxury in a bridal style and walked out of the place.
Thanks to the pandemonium going on as a result of the burning penthouse, no one noticed them till he got to his car and placed her in.
Tyler is not in the car anymore, he must have left in search of him.
He made to get his phone and give him a call but he couldn’t find it in his pocket, and that was when the phone rang in the car, he forgot it.
It’s Tyler calling, so he picked quickly.
“Boss!, I’ve been calling since ages where have you been!, I thought you got caught in the fire and I was so scared” he said.
“I actually forgot my phone in the car, and I’m sorry for scaring you, I’m back in the car” Fernando replied and hung up.
A minute later, Tyler came running.
“I’m so glad to see you alive!” He smiled.
“Let’s go” Fernando smiled, and they both got in.
Fernando sat beside Luxury while Tyler drove in the front.
“Are you better now?” He asked, and Luxury looked at him.
The rate at which her heart was beating fearfully when she thought he was still in the restaurant was maddening.
She hasn’t been that scared all her life, not even once.
She even cried and screamed his name around, meaning she’s really really deep into this thing.
She bit her lip slowly, and Fernando brought her head to his shoulder.
“Just sleep if you have nothing to say to me” he said, and she smiled before closing her eyes.
Maybe because of the stress of her screams, she fell asleep almost immediately.
Fernando looked at her and smiled.
Tyler continued driving to Fernando’s mansion.

“What was that drama you performed!, I told you about the date so you’d take Luxury and prevent her from going, but instead of that, you set time bombs in the restaurant!” Lauren shouted when Wesley came into her mansion.
“I h@ťě when people shout at me” he said, falling on the couch.
“What do you expect me to do when you kept spoiling my plans!, You said she’s your Kimberly!, Then kidnap her and take her somewhere far so my Spencer won’t have to see her anymore!” Lauren yelled
“My Kimberly is with me” Wesley replied.
“What!” Lauren’s eyes widened.
Wesley rolled his eyes, and she cackled.
“Oh I get it, Luxury cut her hair so she’s not your Kimberly anymore, and I know you kidnapped the girl from the murder scene last night, so she’s your new Kimberly because she has brown long hair too?” She said, and Wesley stood.
“You’re surely crazy, so you’d leave at this point?, How am I supposed to handle Luxury?” She said, blocking him.
“Get lost” he said.
“I don’t care if you found another Kimberly or not, you have to keep helping me about Luxury” she replied fearlessly.

Tyler halted the car, and Fernando looked at Luxury.
Her head is still on his shoulder, and she’s still sleeping, so he carefully held her head without waking her, then he carried her out of the car like a baby.
“She’s spending the night here?” Tyler asked.
“Yeah, I’ll handle it trust me” Fernando replied, and he smiled.
Fernando took her in and entered his room straight, but immediately he placed her on the bed, her eyes opened.
“You’re awake” he smiled.
“Where are we?” She asked gently.
“My place” he replied, and she sat up immediately.
“Huh?”
“You’re safe, I’m not gonna eat you ok?” He said and kissed her cheek.
She looked at him, and he smiled again. She quickly looked away.
“What should I make you?” He asked.
“I’m not hungry” she replied.
“Come on…” He said, touching her short hair.
“You cut it after all” he said.
“Is it ugly?” She found herself asking.
“Yeah” he replied, and she blinked.
“Joking, you look like a total baby with the short hair, cute” he said, and she smiled.
“I want fried rice” she said, and he stood straight.
“Will be ready in an hour” he winked and rushed out.
Luxury got down from the bed and started looking around the spacious bedroom.
It’s sparkling clean just like her room, and that made her smile grow wider.
He’s obviously a clean freak like her.
She walked to the second door and opened it. It’s his dressing room, full of richness.
It can pass for an international boutique
“Whoa, he’s really a billionaire” she smiled, closing the door.
She saw the bedstand drawer is slightly open, so she went there and made to close it but stopped when she saw something.
She brought it out and sighed. It’s a pack of condoms, strawberry flavor.
She was still looking at it when Fernando came back in to get his phone.
His eyes widened and he snatched it from her.
She stood and faced him.
“I swear I haven’t f_cked since two weeks ago” he said.
“Why are you explaining?, I’m not your girlfriend” she replied, and he returned the condom before getting his phone, then they left the room together.
He’s already busy in the kitchen, so he went back there, but Luxury started walking around by herself, checking out the whole house.
When she finished checking out everything, she went to him in the kitchen.
Immediately she entered, the sweet aroma hit her nose.
“Hmmn!” She inhaled.
“Had a good look around?” He asked, adding carrots.
“Yeah” she replied, peeping at what he’s cooking.
She scooped some of the butter with her finger and licked it.
“Who told you licking butter is healthy?” He faced her.
“I don’t care” she replied and made to lick again, but he caught her hand and pulled her closer.
Their lips almost touched.
“Don’t even think of kissing me” she whispered
“I should be the one saying that” he replied, and she blinked before pushing him away.
