“Alex is it true your brother is getting suspended”
“Huh?”
“Why?”Alex asked.
“Check the school platform”
Alex quickly brought out her phone to check.
She saw a post from the school’s official account.
The headline read: “Rudy Gray is suspended for harassment”
The post went on to describe the incident and stated that Rudy would be suspended for three days.
Alex couldn’t believe it.
She knew her brother wasn’t capable of such a thing.
She needed to find out what was really going on.
She started texting her brother frantically.
“What’s going on? What happened? Are you okay?” she wrote.
Alex waited anxiously for a response, but there was none. Her heart began to race. Something was wrong.
She tried calling her brother,but the call went straight to voicemail.
She started panicking, imagining all the worst-case scenarios.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, her phone started to buzz.
She looked at the screen and saw that her brother was calling her back.
“Brother!” she said, answering the call.
“What’s going on?”
“Everything is fine Alex”He said, his voice calm and reassuring.
“I’m sorry I didn’t answer your call before,I was in the middle of something and couldn’t get to my phone”
“What’s going on?”Alex asked again, still feeling a little bit uneasy.
“Why are you getting suspended?”
“Because I forcefully kissed a girl,”Rudy replied.
“Lair”
“What?” Rudy asked, his voice rising in surprise.
“You would never do something like that,”Alex said, her voice full of conviction.
“You’re not that kind of person”
“Yeah I would never do something silly like that”Rudy said.
“I know”
“But anyway I’m getting suspended for three days”
“Do you want me to help you find out what’s going on?”Alex asked.
“I don’t want you to get suspended for something you didn’t do.”
“That would be great,but don’t” Rudy said.
“Why?”Alex asked.
“I was the one who asked for the suspension,”Rudy replied.
“What?” Alex exclaimed, surprised.
“Why would you ask for your own suspension?”
“Because I’m tired of my class I need some break from it,” Rudy said.
“I just want to be able to relax for a little while”
“Okay,I guess we will see each other once I got home”
“Yeah,bye”
“Bye”Alex sighs and hangs up.

“I swear,I didn’t post the picture,”Adrian said.
“Lair!”She yelled.
“You have to believe me Mina,I wasn’t the one who posted it,”Adrian said.
“But how do I know that’s true?”Mina asked.
“You could be lying to me, and I wouldn’t even know”
“I would never lie to you,Mina,” Adrian said, taking a step towards her.
“I know this is all very confusing and upsetting, but I promise you, I didn’t do it”
Mina looked into Adrian’s eyes, searching for any sign of dishonesty.
But all she saw was sincerity and concern.
“I want to believe you,but I can’t since you are always planning on finding a way to get Senior Rudy expelled”She said and Adrian sighs sadly.
“No, that’s not true,” Adrian said, shaking his head.
“I know have always tried to get Rudy expelled, but that’s not my goal anymore”
“I want to make peace with him and become his friend, and I’m also sorry for everything I’ve done,”Adrian apologized.
“Thank you for saying that,but I still don’t believe you,” Mina said and walked away.
“Wait, Mina,” Adrian called, going after her.
“Please don’t go”
But Mina didn’t stop,She kept walking, her pace quickening with every step.
“Mina, please,” Adrian said, desperation creeping into his voice.
“I know you’re still upset, but I’m telling the truth,I didn’t do it”
Mina turned to look at him, her face set in a stony expression.
“You really need to believe me,I am not the one behind the Rudy suspension”Adrian said.
“I want to believe you, but I’m just not sure,”Mina said.
“I need some time to process all of this, I’ll get back to you later”
“Of course,” Adrian said, trying to keep his tone even.
“I understand”
Mina nodded, and turned to walk away.
“I’ll see you later,” she said over her shoulder.
Adrian watched her go, a heavy feeling settling in his stomach.
He had messed up, and now he had to figure it out.
“I shouldn’t have snapped the picture in the first place”Adrian shook his head.
It was a mistake, one he regretted deeply.

NIGHT>FLORA’S CAFE**
“Finally we are close for today”Max sighs as he closes up the cafe for the night, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief.
It had been a long day, and he was exhausted.
“Hey Rudy,”Max called.
“What”Rudy asked, staring at his phone.
“Huh”
“Sorry, I was just reading a text,” Rudy said, putting his phone away.
“What’s up?”
“Nothing much,” Max said.
“I was just wondering if the rumors about you are true”Max asked and Rudy raised his brows.
“Do you think I would do something like that?”Rudy asked and Max shook his head.
“No,but..”
“Sorry Max I got to go”Rudy cut in.
“Ohh”
“I will see you tomorrow,just make sure you won’t be late for work”Rudy said, placing a hand on Max’s shoulder.
“I won’t,”Max smiled.
“Taxi,”Rudy called.
A yellow cab pulled up to the curb, and Rudy opened the door.
“I’ll see you tomorrow,”He said, giving Max a wave.
“And remember,those rumors are not true okay?”
“Okay,” Max said, laughing.
“I’ll see you tomorrow”
Rudy got into the cab and it drove away.
Rudy brought out his phone and read the text again.
It was from Mr Robert, and it simply said: “Rudy I’ve a way for you to get your revenge and Alex won’t be ki||,met me at Cheers & Beers”
He re-read the text again, just to make sure he wasn’t misunderstanding it.
But there was no mistaking the message.
He didn’t know what to make of it.
He thought about what to do next. He could ignore the message, but something about it bothered him.
He decided to go to Cheers & Beers and see what Mr. Robert has to say.
When Rudy arrived at the bar, he found Mr. Robert sitting at a table in the corner.
He looked up when he saw Rudy, and motioned for him to sit down.
Rudy took a seat across from Mr. Robert.
“The text,Is it true?” he asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.
“Yes,I’ve got a plan to help you get your revenge,”Mr. Robert said, leaning forward conspiratorially.
“But it’s going to take some work,you just have to follow me home so I can explain,”Mr Robert said and Rudy frowned.
He didn’t like the sound of something that, something didn’t feel right to him, so he stood up.
“Maybe tomorrow,it’s already late,Alex ..”
Before he could finish the sentence a baseball bat was hit on the back of his head and everything went dark.

*NEXT DAY*
When Rudy opened his eyes, he was on a cliff.
His hands and feet were bound, and he couldn’t move.
His head was throbbing, and he could feel blood dripping down the back of his neck.
He looked around, trying to make sense of his surroundings.
He was on a cliff, overlooking the ocean.
There was no one else in sight.
The sun was setting, casting an eerie light across the water.
The waves crashed against the rocks below, sending up a spray of mist.
He tried to call out for help, but his voice was hoarse and weak.
He was terrified, and he had no idea how he had gotten here.
Just then, he heard footsteps behind him.
He turned, and saw two figures approaching him.
“Hello?”He called out.
The figures came closer, and Rudy could see that there were three of them and they were wearing masks.
As they drew near, Rudy felt a sense of dread wash over him.
He was certain that he was about to die.
“Who are you?”He asked.
“So this is what he looks like,”A female voice said.
“Yeah,that Georgina’s Son”The Male voice said and Rudy recognized the voice immediately.
“Mr Robert”Rudy called and the male figure walked closer to him and brought out a gun.
“I can’t believe you recognize my voice”Mr Robert pointed the gun at him.
“Why are you pointing a gun at me?”Rudy asked.
“We’ve been watching you for a long time and …”
“Let’s ki|| him already”The female voice cut in and Mr Robert pulled the trigger.
“NO!”Rudy screamed, instinctively raising his hands to protect himself.
But the bullet never hit him,It whizzed past his ear.
Rudy fell to the ground, trembling and gasping for air.
What was happening?
Why was Mr. Robert trying to $h00t him?
“I’m sorry,but Rudy you have to die” Mr. Robert pulled the trigger again.
This time the bullet hit Rudy right on his chest and everything went blank.
“Robert confirmed if he’s still breathing”The female voice said.
“Sure”Mr Robert walked close to Rudy’s dead body and reached for his nose
Mr. Robert placed his finger on Rudy’s nose and said.
“He is dead Susan”Mr Robert said and the woman smiled as she brought out her phone.
She took a picture of Rudy’s dead body and said.
“Throw him down the cliff,”Susan said.
Mr. Robert looked at Susan, a confused expression on his face.
“Are you sure that’s what you want me to do?”He asked.
“Absolutely,” Susan said, her voice confident and assured.
“If we don’t throw his body down the cliff someone can easily find his body and we can’t risk that”
“I already got the picture we need to show them”Susan smiled and Mr Robert sighs.
He carried Rudy’s body and threw it down the cliff.
“Goodbye Rudy may your soul rest in peace”Mr Robert muttered as he watched Rudy’s body fall into the sea.
