“Hey, Kiran, it seems like the rumors are true,”Kyran said.
“Umm,I guess so,”Kiran replied, staring at Max from her seat.
Max eyes suddenly meeting hers.
Kiran felt her heart skip a beat as she realized that she had been caught staring.
“I…uh…no,” she stammered, quickly turning away.
“Are you okay,Kira?”Kyran asked.
Kiran could feel her face turning red as she tried to think of something to say.
“I…I was just… I’m fine.. Kyra..”She stammered.
“Are you sure,cause you look flustered?”Kyran asked, looking around trying to figure out what made Kiran blushed.
“I told you I’m fine, Kyran,”Kiran said.
“If you say so”Kyran muttered while looking around.
“So Kyran, what ‘s going on between the four of them?”Kiran asked.
“Haven’t you heard the rumors”
“What rumors?”She asked.
“About Rudy having a girlfriend,”Kyran replied.
“What”Kiran’s eyes widened.
“You are joking, Kyran,”Kiran laughed.
“That’s the truth Kiran, and it’s really heartbroken for all the girls,”Kyran said sadly.
“Wait, isn’t that Rudy over there?”Kiran asked, pointing at Rudy.
“Yes,he is the one,”Kyran replied.
“That jerk,”Kiran said.
“Jerk?” Kyran exclaimed, surprised by Kiran’s reaction.
“What did he do to make you say that?”Kyran asked.
“Didn’t you just say that he has a girlfriend?”Kiran asked, her voice cold.
“How could he lead all girls like that? We all thought he was interested in one of us, and it turns out he was just playing games the whole time, some of us even have to reject some guys because we love him”Kiran said looking angry.
“I didn’t know you had such strong feelings about this,”Kyran said, trying to calm her sister down.
“Maybe there’s more to the story than we know”
“I don’t care if there is more,I really need to give that cold jerk a piece of my mind”Kiran stood up and tried to walk toward Rudy but Kyran quickly pulled her back.
“What is it?”She asked.
“Look,”Kyran pointed at Celine.
“Oh that’s Celine and the new students,”Kiran said.
“Yeah”
“What are they doing with Rudy?”Kiran asked.
“Watch,”Kyran replied.
“Ahem…he-hem is it true?”Celine asked.
“Is it true you have a girlfriend?”Ellie asked.
“Is that girl in the video your girlfriend?”Angela asked.
Rudy sighed, knowing what the answer they were looking for was.
“Yes,She is,”He said,with a little smirk on his lips.
The girls stared at Rudy in disbelief.
They couldn’t believe that he already had a girlfriend.
“But…but…” Ellie stammered, at a loss for words.
“But…but…how could you?” Celine finally managed to say, still in shock.
“Umm”
“How could you do this to me?”Celine asked as tears began to roll down her eyes.
“Huh”
“How could I do this to you?”Rudy asked, surprised.
“I didn’t do anything to you and I didn’t think having a girlfriend would affect you in any way”Rudy said.
“You didn’t think it would affect me?”She exclaimed, trying to wipe her tears.
“Yes,so what with the tears”Rudy asked.
“It…it be.. because I lov”Celine’s voice trailed off as she realized what she was about to say.
She couldn’t believe it,she had almost confessed her feelings to Rudy. She had never meant to, and now she was panicking.
“I…I…”She stammered, her face turning red.
“I…um…I’m sorry”
“For what”Rudy asked looking confused and Celine couldn’t say anything.
Rudy looks at Celine for a while before he looks at Ellie and Angela.
He could see the three girls were already heartbroken and sighing.
“I guess I can leave now,”Rudy said, walking toward his seat before Celine called him.
“Wait!” Celine said, her voice shaking.
“Please don’t go. I…I want to talk to you”
Rudy hesitated. He wasn’t sure if he needed to hear what Celine wanted to say. But he couldn’t just leave her like this.
“Okay,”He said, turning back to face her.
“I’m listening”
Celine took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves.
“I think…I think I should tell you how I feel”Celine said, gathering her courage
“Okay,”He said.
“Go ahead”
Celine took a deep breath, her heart pounding.
“Rudy,”She began, her voice trembling.
“I’ve been trying to sort out my own feelings,”Celine said.
“I’ve never been in this kind of situation before, and I didn’t know how to handle it”
“I didn’t mean to string you along, but I also didn’t want to make a wrong decision before I was ready but I guess I’m ready now”
Rudy listened to her carefully, already knowing what she was trying to say.
“So what are you saying?”He asked.
“Are you trying to say that you might have feelings for me, or that you’re not sure?”Rudy asked and Celine bit her lip.
“I…I think I do have feelings for you,Rudy”
“I think I’m in love with y…”
“Rudy”Angela called, interrupting Celine.
Angela shook her head, trying to process what she was hearing since.
“Can we talk?”She asked, facing Rudy.
“Of course not,” Rudy said, turning to face Angela.
“Huh”Angela frowned.
“Yeah you hear me right I’m not interested in talking to you”Rudy said.
“What”Angela walked angrily toward him.
“We need to talk”She dragged him out of the class.
Celine was silent for some moment including Ellie who can’t say anything.
Celine didn’t know what to do next. If it hadn’t been for Angela who interrupted her like that,she would have confessed her feelings to Rudy.
“d@mn it,”Celine said in frustration.
“Hey,you shouldn’t worry about it too much,”Ellie said.
“I’m sure you will get another chance to confess your feelings to Rudy”Ellie added and Celine sighs.
“Okay”She said and Ellie smiled.
“Let’s just go back to our seats,I can’t stand this stare anymore”Ellie said looking around and Celine chuckled.
“Okay,” Celine said, taking one last look at the entrance of the classroom before following Ellie back to their seats.
As they sat down,a teacher walked into the class and the students all turned their attention to the front of the room.
Celine took out her notebook and tried to focus on the lesson, but her mind kept wandering about Rudy having a girlfriend.
“Is everything okay?” Ellie whispered, noticing that Celine was distracted.
“Everything is fine”Celine fakes a smile, still thinking about Rudy having a girlfriend.
“Wait, does that kiss mean nothing to him?”Celine said, touching her lips.
“Rudy,”She called sadly.
•HALLWAY•
“What do you want?”Rudy asked, removing his hand from Angela’s own as they were the only one in the hallway.
Angela turned to Rudy, with tears on her face.
She quickly wiped them off.
“Rudy, I…” Angela’s voice trailed off, her emotions getting the better of her.
She tried to gather her thoughts, but it was hard to find the words to express what she was feeling.
“You can talk to m…”
“I know,”Angela cut in, taking a deep breath.
“But this is hard”
“I’m listening,” Rudy said, giving her his full attention.
“The thing is…” Angela began, her heart racing.
“I think I’m starting to have feelings for you, Rudy”
“Even since our photo$h00t together,”Angela said and Rudy sighed.
“I..I think I’m in love with you, Rudy”She said.
Rudy wasn’t stunned by Angela’s confession.
He already knows that Angela has always liked him since she is always staring at him.
“I love you Rudy”Angela smiled and Rudy didn’t say anything.
As he stood there, silent and still, his mind was in deep thought.
He was thinking about a way not to break her heart because he doesn’t love her.
Angela was starting to worry.
She had never seen Rudy so quiet before. Was he mad at her? Or was he just not interested in her? She didn’t know what to do or say next.
Finally, Rudy spoke.
“I’m sorry,I appreciate your love for me but”Rudy said, his voice soft as he chose his words carefully.
“But I’m sorry I don’t think I feel the same way,”Rudy said.
Angela’s heart sank.
She had been so brave to confess her feelings, and now Rudy was turning her down.
She tried to hold back her tears, but it was difficult.
She felt her heart break into a million pieces.
She had to reject different models and guys because Rudy,and now Rudy was rejecting her.
She couldn’t believe this was happening.
“I understand,” she said, trying to keep her voice steady.
“Thank you for being honest with me”
Rudy could see the pain in Angela’s eyes,but in Angela’s eyes it seems like Rudy doesn’t seem to care how she feels.
“It’s not that I don’t care,” Rudy said, reading her mind.
“It’s just that I’m not sure if I’m ready for a relationship right now, I don’t want to lead you on or give you false hope”Rudy
“I understand,” Angela said, her heart sinking.
“I just thought…I thought there might be something between us,”Angela said, taking a deep breath, trying to keep her composure.
“I know,”Rudy said,looking at her with an expression on his face.
Which made it hard for Angela to read him.
“I’m so sorry, Angela,I hope you know that”
Angela nodded, trying to hold back tears.
“I get it,” she said.
“I just…I guess I just wish things were different”
“I know,” he said.
“I wish things were different too”Rudy said inwardly thinking about his mom.
The two of them stood there in silence,neither of them knew what to say next.
The silence was heavy and uncomfortable. Finally, Rudy spoke up.
“I should probably get back to class,”Rudy said.
“No”Angela shook her head and wiped her tears.
“Huh,why?”Rudy asked.
“I have something I wanna do”Angela gave Rudy a half-smile as she walked closer to him.
Rudy was surprised by Angela’s sudden closeness.
He wasn’t sure what she was going to do, but he was not curious to find out.
“What are you going to do?”He asked, coldly but it didn’t seem to affect Angela.
She smiled widened as she leaned in close to him.
“This,”She whispered, before kissing him on his lips.
Rudy was stunned,he had no idea what to do next. Should he kiss her back? Push her away? Say something?
Before he could decide, Angela pulled away from him and looked at him expectantly.
“Tha..that was my first kiss an..and.. I want it to be romantic”Angela said shyly as she stared at Rudy’s lips.
She grabbed Rudy’s arms and wrapped it around her waist.
“Rudy,you are the whole reason why I came to this school,so if you don’t love me what is the point?”Angela said, wrapping her arms around Rudy’s neck.
“I love you so much,Rudy please love me back”Angela said as tears began to roll down her eyes again.
“Rudy,”She said, kissing him.
“That b*stard,how could he hurt me like this”Adrian said angrily as he walked down the hallway.
He suddenly stopped when he saw Rudy and the new student kissing and he smirked.
“Your life is finally over in this school Rudy”Adrian smiled.
He quickly brought out his phone and took some pictures before he left.
°AFTER SCHOOL°JUNIOR BLOCK°
All the junior students have already left the class except Alex and a female student.
“Here is your money”Alex said as she counted some cash and gave it to one of her female classmates.
“Thanks,”She said, accepting the cash.
“But Alex why didn’t you just upload the pictures and video yourself”
“Ohh,that was because Mina and my brother are going to find out it was me,”Alex said.
“So that’s why you asked me to do it,”The girl asked.
“Yes,”Alex replied.
“You’re so smart”
“Yes I know,”Alex smiled.
“But won’t your brother get mad at you if he finds out?”The girl asked.
“Nah,He is the reason why I asked you to post it,he was playing with my feelings last night so this is my revenge”Alex said with a little smirk.
“What about Mina…”
“Alex”Mina called at the entrance of the classroom after hearing their conversation.
“Mina”Alex’s eyes widened in shock.
“You…yo-you are..are the-the one,Alex”
“You are the one who asked them to upload the video and pictures,”Mina said in shock.
