“Rudy,”The lady called,her voice shaking as she
stared at Rudy closely.
“It really you,Rudy,”The lady smiled, hugging
Rudy.
Rudy frowned as the lady hugged him.
He was angry with her because of the hug but
he didn’t want to make a scene.
He awkwardly patted her back, and then gently
pulled away.
“Hey,Ellie,”He said standing up.
“What are you doing here?”Rudy asked.
Ellie’s face fell in shock, and she took a step
back, looking hurt.
“I just wanted to see you,”She said, her voice
sounding small.
“I saw you walking around the park, and I
thought maybe we could talk,”Ellie said.
“Talk about what”Rudy asked.
“Don’t tell the team or the company, send you
again,”Rudy said.
“No,I’m not here on business”Ellie replied
quickly.
“I’m here because I wanted to see you.” She
looked at him, her eyes pleading.
“See me about what”Rudy asked.
“Hmm,can we just talk outside for a few
minutes?”Ellie asked, staring at Mina.
“Se… Senior Rudy,”Mina called, not liking the
way Ellie was looking at her.
“I’m not interested in talking to you Ellie,”Rudy
said.
“Really,”Ellie said.
“Was it because of her?”Ellie asked glaring at
Mina.
“Maybe”Rudy replied.
“You can’t be serious,” Ellie said, her voice rising.
“You’re choosing her over me?”Ellie said as she
looked at Mina,who shifted uncomfortably
under her gaze.
“I’m not choosing anyone,”Rudy said.
“I’m simply saying that I’m not interested in
talking to you right now,”He said.
“Fine,”Ellie clenched her fists.
“You,”Ellie pointed at Mina.
“Who are you to him?”Ellie asked, pointing at
Rudy.
“Huh!”Mina raised her brows not knowing how
to reply to her.
She stared at Rudy’s eyes searching for an
answer but couldn’t find any.
“Am.. am..am”Mina stammered.
“I’m his girl.. girl-girl…”
“What do you wanna talk about,Ellie?”Rudy
asked, cutting off Mina stammering.
“Hmm,can we talk outside?”Ellie asked.
Rudy hesitated for some minutes before he
nodded in response.
“I will be waiting”Ellie glared at Mina before she
walked out.
“Mhm, Senior Rudy”Mina called.
“You should call Alex to come and pick you up,I
know she is around here somewhere”Rudy said
walking away and Mina’s eyes widened.
“How..how… di-did he know”Mina asked, staring
at Rudy till he walked out and she stood up.
“I guess he must have seen me,”Alex said,
standing behind her.
“Ahhhhh”Mina screamed in fear and Alex
quickly covered her mouth.
“Hey, you shouldn’t scream like that”Alex smiled
and took her hand away from Mina’s mouth.
“I’m sorry,” Mina said, her heart still pounding in
her chest.
“I didn’t mean to startle you,”Alex said.
Mina nodded as her heart began to slow down.
“It’s okay,”She said, taking a deep breath.
“I just wasn’t expecting to find you here,”Mina
said sitting down.
“Yeah,I sneak inside,”Alex smiled and sat in
front of her.
“Where are the girls?”Mina asked.
“They are outside, still staring at my brother and
that lady,”Alex replied.
“Oh!”
“Hmm,Alex, who is that lady?”Mina asked.
“She seems to know your brother and I think she
likes him too,”Mina said.
“Yeah,my brother h@ťěs her,”Alex said and sighs
sadly.
“Huh”
“My brother and I met her at a shopping mall on
my birthday,”Alex smiled.
“She is actually a models,her and her friend”
“They were working on a fashion $h00t for a
magazine and their male model didn’t show
up”Alex continued.
“So my brother had to fill in for the missing
model”
“He was reluctant to do it at first when the team
asked for his help,”Alex said.
“But I pressured him to do it,”Alex added.
“The $h00t turned out to be a great one,he
ended up getting a lot of money and praise for
his work from the team and positive feedback
too”Alex smiled.
“They try to recruit he to join the team full-time,
so he could work with them on future projects
but my brother rejected the offer”
“What?”Mina asked.
“Senior Rudy, rejected that kind of offer”Mina
said.
“Yeah,even though he rejected their offer many
times the team keep disturbing him to join them
and he keeps turning them down”
“So they ask me for help,they told me to beg my
brother to do a photo$h00t with them and they
promise to stop disturbing him to join them and
I agree to it”
“I thought it would be a good experience for him
to change his mind to join them. I didn’t realize
how bad things would get,”Alex said, feeling
bad for what he went through.
“So what happened next?”Mina asked, looking
concerned.
“My brother agree to the photo$h00t since they
promise not to disturb him anymore”
“The photo$h00t was between my brother and
Ellie’s friend which made Ellie jealous because
her friend also like my brother”
“Ellie framed my brother,she said he trying to
rape her when she was actually the one trying to
seduce him”Alex said.

“I know I messed up that day,I shouldn’t have
framed you”
“I’m so sorry,I just want to make things
right”Ellie said, staring at Rudy who doesn’t
seem to care about what she is saying.
He was angry with her, but he could also see
that she was genuinely remorseful.
“Okay,”Rudy sighs and Ellie looks down at her
hands.
“I understand,I know I don’t deserve your
forgiveness, but I’m really sorry,” Ellie said.
“Back then I was just jealous, I don’t want
Angela to have you to herself, but I didn’t think
things through”
“I never meant to hurt you or put you in a bad
situation, Rudy”
Rudy stared at her for a moment, then let out a
deep breath.
“You really don’t deserve my forgiveness,”He
said.
“I know”Ellie muttered sadly.
“But I appreciate you coming all the way here
just to ask for my forgiveness”
“So I will forgive you because of that”Rudy said
and Ellie’s face lit up.
“Thank you”Ellie quickly hugged Rudy.
“But I can’t forget what happened,It’s going to
take some time for me to trust you again,”Rudy
whispered into her ear.
“Okay”She nodded and Rudy pulled away from
the hug.
“Mhm, Rudy,”Ellie called slowly.
“The team is still…”
“I’m not interested,”Rudy sighed,understanding
where Ellie was trying.
“I know you’re not interested in the team right
now,”She said.
“But maybe in the future,”Ellie added.
Rudy ignores her and starts walking away.
“You might change your mind later,just don’t
close yourself off to the possibility entirely.”Ellie
looked up at him, her eyes shining with tears.
“I won’t,” Rudy said, turning back and he
continued to walk away.
“He seems to have gotten colder than before,
Angela,”Ellie said in tears and she entered her
car.
“Yeah,I heard the entire conversation”The voice
said.
“So are you satisfied now?”Ellie asked and
Angela smiled, staring at her phone.
“Yes”Angela blushed, staring at the unaware
photo of her with Rudy.
“Are you still staring at that picture?”Ellie asked.
“Yeah,is there a problem with that?”Angela
asked and Ellie shook her head.
“No, I’m just glad you’re feeling better,” Ellie said.
“The most important thing is that I got to see
Rudy again and it’s all because of you” Angela
smiled,her cheeks still pink.
“Thanks, Ellie,”She said.
“Anytime, girl,”Ellie said.
“I’m here for you, always,”Ellie added.
Angela felt a surge of gratitude for her friend.
She knew she could always count on Ellie to be
there for her, no matter what.
“We should go home now”Ellie said and started
driving.
“I can’t wait to see the shock on Rudy’s face
once he sees us at his school tomorrow”Angela
said.
“Yeah, Dayton highschool,here we come”
