Port Harcourt day! Very early in the morning, Gbenro had already woken up packed his things for
Port Harcourt parole. He woke me to ask if I’ve changed my mind, I told him I can’t go, he tried
convincing me, begging me to follow him to Port Harcourt, he was really begging me, the man
had already sent money for transportation, he begged me for so many hours. I didn’t listen to
him cos I was a little bit scared even though I needed the money but my spirit wasn’t at peace
with the journey, I had a terrible dream that we both went to Port Harcourt and we never came
back alive. I advised Gbenro not to go, I told him about the dream, he was only laughing. To cut
the long story short, Gbenro eventually went to Port Harcourt, that day was on Saturday, I didn’t
go with him, he was even angry when he left.
I was home alone in the afternoon, preparing to go to church for Sunday service preparation, I
got a call, it was my Dad that called, my Dad hardly calls me, except it is something important. I
was surprised, I picked the call, “Hello Dad” I said on phone, “Hello Bruno, who is Doyin?” He
asked, I was shocked, Doyin?. I told him I have so many friend that goes by the name then he said “The girl you impregnated is here with her mother”, fear catch me, I couldn’t say anything, how did Lola know my place? How did she find my family? Her mother once called me sometimes back about the pregnancy, I denied it and she thr_@tened to arrest me. I never expected them to go to family house, my Dad kept insulting me on phone, he asked if I was responsible, I denied it, I denied the pregnancy. My Dad said he want to see me, that I should come home, he was so angry and disappointed. I was really scared and annoyed, I called Doyin and began to insult her and her mother. I couldn’t go to church that day.

I didn’t go home, my parents kept on calling me for 3 days, I couldn’t go home, I was
ashamed of myself. So one day, I was coming back from a friend’s place, Gbenro wasn’t back
from his Port Harcourt trip, I received a text message from Tobi, the content of the text message
was “You’re infected with a disease, please go for medical check up”, when I saw the message, I
was surprised, what does he mean by that? Cos after my segz with Tobi, we didn’t chat, he didn’t
even call me, that was the last time we talked, so I was surprised he sent a devilish message to
me. I thought he was joking, I called him to find out the meaning of the text message, the next
thing he said was “just for medical check up before it is too late”, I was scared, I asked if he was
joking, he said “don’t you know you’re a slut, we had unprotected segz, just go for treatment” he
hanged up, I was nervous, I called him again to ask for the type of disease, he warned me never
to call him again, he said I should go for treatment.

I tried calling again,he didn’t pick my calls anymore. Can someone so handsome and fresh like
Tobi has disease? I was really scared, on my way to the hostel, someone called my name from
behind, I looked back, the person was in a car, can you believe the person was almighty Kamal,
the same Kamal that molested me when I was a kid. I was surprised when I saw him, he was
looking more handsome and matured, I greeted him, I even gave him a hug. I asked him what he
was doing in my school, he told me he came to check on someone, a student, lo and behold,
when I saw the person Kamal came to see, it was one TB guy, he’s a 200L student. One gay
acting dude like that, I suspected Kamal was still into the act. He told me he’s married and he
just moved in to Yaba, Lagos, he was transferred from Abuja. We talked and talked then we
exchanged contact, he said he would love to see me again, he was even stylishly flirting with me
in front of that 200L dude, very funny. Before I got home Kamal sent me flirty text messages,
flattering text messages. He called me later on, asking me silly questions, I still have crush on
Kamal, I swear. He apologized for what he did to me back then, then he said he would love to hit it again. I was just blushing, I didn’t even know what to say, he said he would love to see me again.
We booked an appointment for the weekend at his place, his pregnant wife was travelling
out of the country on Friday for delivery, I was happy to meet Kamal again. After the call, I
became sad again when I remembered the text message Tobi sent to me, I was scared as hell
but I didn’t really believe him.

My mum called me later in the evening begging me to come home so that we could resolve the pregnancy issue, she told me Doyin’s mum has been pressurizing her and my Dad. What really made me changed my mind to go home and accept the pregnancy was when she said “thank God you’re not into homosegzuality anymore, this one is still better, thank God you listened to me”, that touched my heart sort off, even though I’m still kinda into homosegzuality, I had segz with Tobi and I would love to have segz with Kamal too, as a matter of fact, Kamal will be the last guy I would have segz with. I agreed to come home the next day.

The following day, already preparing to go home, Gbenro came back from Port Harcourt, he
came back with lot of goodies, I was jealous, I was bitter, I should have gone to Port Harcourt, I shouldn’t have follow the stupid dream I dreamt. Gbenro came back with 150k. I was really pissed, he was just mocking me, calling me”Joseph the dreamer”. I told him I was leaving,
begged him to give me transport fare, the sweet Gbenro gave me 5k, he got some items for me too. He’s such a nice dude, we share things together a lot.

I finally got home, I mean my parents house. They abused me, shouted at me, chastised me,
blah blah. I accepted the pregnancy and my parent accepted to take responsibility of the baby. I
refused to marry Doyin that I would only accept the baby. I was in my final year so I’m not too
young to be a father moreover I’m 23 years, not too young either. While at home, 7 days later I
received a call from school that Gbenro collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, I was told, he was bleeding from the nose and was coughing out blood.

The following day I quickly rushed to school, I went straight to the school clinic to check on him. I got to the clinic, Gbenro was already lean, looking so pale and weak on the sick bed, I met his mother there. He was asleep when I got there, I saw his mother, I introduced myself to her and the next thing she said was that Gbenro has been asking of me, that he has been mentioning my name that he wanted to see me. I waited for some hours, while waiting, I received a text
message from Tobi again, reminding me to go for medical check, that I should for treatment of my disease. I replied him to tell me the name of disease but he didn’t reply, I was nervous, I was confused if I should go for series of test since I’m in the school clinic. I received another call from Kamal to remind me of our appointment over the weekend.
Few hours later, Gbenro woke up, I was beside him. He smiled at me, some of our friends were around. Then he said he wanted to see me alone, that everybody should excuse us, everybody should leave the room, including his mother. Gbenro was having the harmful odour, then he
said “Bruno thank God you didn’t go to Port Harcourt, it seems the man has used me for rituals”, “what do you mean?” I asked, he said “the man didn’t have segz with me, he only sucked my Ďïčk, I’m going to die, I should have listened to you, I shouldn’t have gone, Bruno I’m dying already,
I’m dying”, I told to stop saying such, I told him nothing will happen, I tried to cheer him up. The sweetest thing he said was “I love you Bruno, you’ve always been the love of my life, you just
never gave me the chance” I was just smiling. Sigh!
