?GRACE ?
Massimo hasn’t come back home ever since the day he walked out of our room Angrily and it’s been a week .
His brothers Sergio and Kristov always checked up on me if I was okay or not infact the worse part was I didn’t even have a phone.
” Grace ” Yvonne called and I turned to her.
” I can’t believe Gina could be that heartless to try something like that , is she that obsessed with Massimo that she’d ki|| you to have him ? This doesn’t make any sense to me ! If she wants Massimo why did she steal from the mafia. ..! Yvonne asked in anger .
” I don’t know what to say babe , have you heard from max ? I asked and she smiled sadly .
” Dante wouldn’t tell me anything Grace …Don’t worry everything would be fine …” She said and rubbed my arms.
” Grace ” I heard my name and bit my lower lip , my mother inlaw was the last person I wanted to talk to at this point in my life .
” Giovanna ” I said and she stared at me with nothing but h@ťě .
” It’s Quiet suprising how you still have the guts to wag your tongue after a near death experience from your own sister. ..! She mocked .
” Gina is not my sister ” I spat Angrily and Yvonne held me down .
” You think this is the right time to rub what I’m going through on my face ? What do you even have against me ! I asked as my voice shook .
Missing Massimo and going through this wasn’t really what I wanted right now.
” Everything , I have absolutely lots of reasons to h@ťě you Grace Morano you’ve brought nothing but trouble in the life of me and my family …!” She spat Angrily.
” You make it sound like you had no trouble before I got into your lives , for goodness sake I should be the one complaining here …ever since you guys kidnapped me into your crime family,my life had moved from one danger to the other ,I should be the one pointing fingers not to Giovanna ” I spat angrily and she gritt her teeth .
I stared at how she glared daggers at me ..
” You’re days in this house are numbered Grace I promise you that , sooner or later …I will show you your place in this house ,you better leave now … because Lucia and Massimo fit perfectly and I’d have preferred her ten times over you ” she spat angrily and left .
” Aunt ” Yvonne called after her .
” Babes I’m sorry about that I….” She tried to apologise.
” It’s okay I’m used to her empty thr_@ts by the way , it’s Lucia’s shamelessness that surprises me ” I said and Yvonne gave a sad nod.
” Yvonne” I called and she smiled .
” Hmmn ” she said staring at me with her big Doe eyes .
” I need your help ” I said and she gasped .
” With what exactly ? Grace I hope you’re not planning anything crazy ? She asked raising her eyebrows .
” I need a trusted trainer. . ” i said and she rubbed her forehead a habit I noticed in every De LUCA.
” What do you need a trainer for …Grace Massimo would ki|| me if you get yourself more injured than you …” She trailed in pannick.
” Since when did the rule breaker start getting scared of trouble ” I asked and she took a deep breath in and out .
” Fine , I know a guy …let’s go ” she said and I smiled at her .
” I knew I could count on you ” I teased as we walked together .
I was clad in a white polo shirt and skinny jeans ..paired with converse .
I tied my hair in a messy bun and picked my sling bag , I’d faced lots of things in my life ,but when I encountered Gina I couldn’t defend myself.
I h@ťěd it ..I wanted to be prepared the next time I face Gina .
They would have caught her that night if she didn’t use me to get her escape .
We got into one of massimo’s cars and although the men at the gate wanted to stop us , they let us pass because of Yvonne .
” Yvonne this place is isolated ..” I said in pannick.
” Calm down …the guy we wanna see lives here .. he’s a good friend of mine ” she said and handed me a cap and shades we both walked out of the car and towards the building .
She knocked on the door and I pinched the bridge of my nose whilst waiting for whoever was going to answer to the door .
” Dylan ..” she called and knocked again .
The door open and a guy looking around my age opened the door .
‘ Yvonne and …” He said staring at the both of us with eyebrows raised .
” Grace ….Grace De Luca ” I said and his eyes widened.
” f_ck Yvonne you brought the Donna to my house ? He asked as he walked into the house leaving the door open .
” Let’s go in ” Yvonne said and we both Walked in to see the Dylan guy with a bottle of wine and three glasses .
” What brings you guys to my humble abode ? He asked with a segzy grin .
” We need you to train Grace she needs to be able to defend herself ” Yvonne said and he smiled.
” Interesting and what does the Don have to say about this training ? I don’t want to be beating up because he feels I’m after his wife …” He said and we laughed.
“He’s not even around ” I muttered and he gave a nod.
” No problem , how about we do training at the De LUCA estate ? I don’t want a situation where your husband would come looking for me and have my head , I’ve heard how protective he is of you ” Dylan said and I gave a nod in agreement .
We stayed over at Dylan’s for sometime before going back to the estate.
Yvonne left and Walked towards our room ,I removed my Shades and dropped my sling bag on the bed .
My mind went back to the last time I saw Massimo then to our wedding ring .
I h@ťěd the fact that he was pushing me away ….he was trying to fight wh@ťěver he felt between us …
He called me his weakness the other time ,I don’t want to be his weakness but his strength .
Was Gina right when she said he just wanted to my body ,Did Massimo see me as his enemies daughter and nothing else ? I wondered as a lump filled my throat …
I wanted to know what the game was … wh@ťěver they we’re planning…!

” Don ” one of my men said as he dropped some files in front of Me.
” How’s Grace ? I asked Frederico who chuckled softly.
” She’s at the estate Massimo and it’s not like we’re another country ” he said and I ran my fingers in my air .
” I need space man Grace Is messing with my brain and I need to be in control of my emotions ” I said and he smiled .
” It doesn’t work that way bro ” he said softly and I stared at him .
” I think you should tell Grace , it’ll hurt but at least we’d know we’re we stand …I don’t think the girl would decide to stand with Mikhail who was never there for her ” Rico said and I rubbed my face.
” You don’t know Grace , she’d keep poking me until she knows everything she wants to know and that’ll only further complicate things more than they already are. ..even Lauren has gone into hiding ” I said and he smirked.
” Who knows she might be in Russia .. sleeping with Mikhail as usual , I guess that’s how Mikhail knew it’s Grace with us and not Nina that sly Ɓîtçh ” he said and I stood up .
” Don …” One of my men said as he walked in.
” What ? I snapped angrily.
” Your wife left the estate …She was seen entering Dylan Diaz apartment ” he said and bowed .
” WTF was she doing at Dylan’s ? How did she even leave the estate ? I bursted Angrily .
” Definitely Yvonne’s effect , you know how she loves to break the rules ” Rico said on the opposite end and I walked out.
” Where are you going? He asked as he tried to meet up with me .
” Home of cause she has to tell me what she was doing at Dylan’s ” I said and he chuckled .
” You’re definitely whipped man ” he said and I just ignored him and left the mansion .
My men led me into the car and a car moved in front and behind us .
If she had a phone ,I’d have called her ,but that’s when i remembered I’d threw her phone in the sea.
Immediately we got to the mansion and I walked in my mom ran into my arms and I noticed Lucia sitted on the opposite couch .
I ignored the lustful looks she gave me and turned to my mother .
” Max you scared me. ..where were you ? Are you trying to ki|| me before my time ? If you’re mad at grace then just divorce her don’t punish your mother like this ” she said and I looked away at the sound of divorce.
I knew she didn’t like grace but if she was waiting for Me to divorce my wife then that was never gonna happen.
” Escuse me mother …” I said and moved upstairs .
Immediately I got into the room my eyes met with my wife who was tieing her robe with water droplets dropping on her beautiful skin .
” Grace ” I called and she looked at me like I was a ghost .
” I ….” I trailed and she turned her back towards me , I noticed her wipe her face.
I moved over to her from behind and hugged her .
” Grace ” I called again as I heard her sniff back tears as she tried to wiggle out of my arms .
” Let me go Massimo …” She managed to voice out .
” Shhhh ….” I said and she struggled harder.
” What’s wrong with you grace ? What where you even doing At Dylan’s ? I asked you not to live the estate .
” And that’s what you’re supposed to say to your wife whom you ran away from ….? She asked sacarstically .
” I didn’t run away I had work …and …” I trailed.
” I’m not stupid Massimo …you’re scared of what you feel that’s why you left ! She said and I glared daggers at her .
” I don’t feel anything for stop putting words in my mouth Grace all I feel for you is what you already know ….I want you on my bed … pleasing me as my wife ….that’s it ” I yelled and she laughed out bitter tears .
” Really ? Then why didn’t you let Gina ki|| me after all Lucia and the rest can always please you segzually ? You’re just a coward Massimo …you’re too scared to embrace what you feel …and ”
” Shut up I said shut the f_ck up ” I screamed angrily.
” Don’t you dare yell at me Massimo ” she said and tried to walk passed me .
I pulled her into my arms her back on the wall ,I slammed my lips on hers and she looked away as tears rolled out of her eyes .
” I’m sorry ” I said and she burst out crying.
” Grace I’m sorry ….” I said this time as I kissed her lips .
” Massimo “she Mõ@ɲed as she kissed me back … slowly
Right there and then I knew I was officially screwed .
Grace was no longer a game go me … But this was about to get more dirtier and I knew I would hurt Grace in the process .
My heart for the first time in thirty years hurt at the thought of it .
