Amelia stared at him and tried to touch him again, he repeated the same action, she can’t hear it anymore.
“What’s the matter with you?'” Amelia asked, staring at him and concerned about him
“Did you get to meet her?'” She asked, calmly he nodded positively.
“Okay, what did she say?” She asked, hoping that she will get a quick response from him, he didn’t say anything to her, he wanted to leave she stopped him again, but this time she was holding his arm, to her surprise he removed her hand again, she glared at him with the tears which were building up in her eyes.
“I waited for you all night. You came back last night, you have been drinking. You got drunk” She said, He didn’t say a word, but walked passed her, thinking about what his granny said.
“How do I tell her about our child. I’m the reason behind this whole thing” He thought and continue walking, she continued looking at him, he grabbed his shirt and a trouser, he then picked up his phone and was about stepping out of the room, but her words stopped him.
“So you are going to leva like this, without talking to me. Without even knowing how i spent my night, been alone. How i feel. Without telling me what the problem is. What has happened to you? You are acting weird, your eyes are gloomy. I haven’t seen you like this before, even though I don’t know much about you, the you weren’t like this” She said, He glared at her, he could see the tears in her eyes, it’s already falling.
“Is that how you love? Like this?'” Amelia manage to asked with the tears can’t stop falling. He wished he could tell her what his granny said, it’s ki||ing him. If only he had listened to her, this wouldn’t have come up.
“I’m sorry….” He said and looked away, she wiped her tears and walked closer to him. You met her right? What did she say to you?”
“Okay. Are you having a problem with her?”
“Don’t worry yourself, things will fall back, it will be fine. I will protect you and our baby. He is my first, i won’t let anything happen to him” Henderson said, she blink her lashes wondering why he is saying this all of a sudden and at the same time she has a feeling that something is wrong.
“Why is he not telling me what the matter is?” She thought.
“Our baby is safe” She said with a little smile.
“Fine. I have to leave now'” He said. ” Just like that?” She muttered.
“If you need anything call me. Or you can tell the maid” He said and turned to leave. “You are unbelievable” She yelled.
“What did i do again?” He asked, looking at her. “Wh@ťěver take care of yourself” She said, he nods and walked out of the room. She sat down and grabbed her phone, she needed someone to talk to, his sudden changes is ki||ing her. Maya didn’t pick up, she tried calling her for the second time yet no response. No one to talk to, she left his room to hers, she opened the door to her surprise the maids were in her room, waiting patiently for her, she knows Henderson is ths one who gave them the order, they have no choice than to follow.
“What does he think, bring maids to my room” She murmured and looked away, ” He didn’t talk to me properly, he didn’t even bother about my nights. Such a jerk” She said to herself.
“Good morning your highness” They chorused, as they saw her, she smiled at them.
“Please leave i can take care of myself, am not a kid” Amelia said, they were standing, bowing their, Amelia wondered if they heard her.
“I said you guys should leave” She repeated, but they find it difficult to leave, she sighed, there’s no way she letting them do this.
“I will talk to him, you won’t get fired” She said with a smile, they bowed and thanked her and left. She headed to the bathroom and freshen quickly and return back to the room, she dressed up and closed her eyes, “Oh God at least let him talk to me, politely and stop acting weird” She prayed and gave a sigh, her phone beeped it’s a message from Henderson. “Please have your breakfast…am a little busy, we will talk when I come back” she finished reading the text and she called her friend again, luckily she picked up.
“Maya am worried”
“What’s the matter Amelia?”
“It’s the king, i wished you were here, you will see his face. He wasn’t looking good and Ethan didn’t come here last night, he would have talked to him” Amelia said.
“Amelia please calm down, i think something is bothering him”
“If he is bothered why can’t he just talk to me, i will listen to him but he doesn’t want to talk about it either, making it looks as if am a stranger to him” Amelia mumbled.
“What if it’s something that will hurt you….. okay I will call Ethan, i will tell him to talk to the king” Maya muttered.
“No, please don’t bother the young man. He has alot on him. He will talk to me when he is ready, though he sent a message” She said..
“Alright, have you eaten”
“No, i will be going downstairs to eat”
“Alright, talk to you later” Maya said, smiling.
“Please take care of yourself and don’t stress yourself” Maya added, she nod her head and smiled and then hang up.
Amelia headed to the dinning room, it’s just the both of them, she took her seat since she doesn’t want to talk to her, she didn’t bother greeting her, she just mind her business, the maid served her, she hungrily ate up and requested for another one, Saanvi was still on one, she became suspicious. “This is unlike her” Saanvi thought, staring at her.
“This is unlike me, maybe it’s because am carrying a baby. Gosh am gonna gain more weight and get more heavier” Amelia thought, Saanvi continue staring at her, she has a feeling that something has happened, but she doesn’t know what happened, but she waved it off, it’s not her business. Amelia lift her head and saw her staring at her, Saanvi looked away, Raj has been calling her but she doesn’t want to get herself affected, Raj is very cunning and he can deny having anything to do with her if gets what he wants, she finished eating and left, Amelia was the only one in the dining, she hasn’t finished eating the second meal she requested for.

Amelia waited all day for him to come back, he didn’t tell her where he was going, she was bored and luckily her little brother came around, they talked about a lot of things about school, until his nanny came to pick him up, she became bored again.
Hours passed, the time wasn’t friendly at all, it’s already seven in the evening, she had her dinner and freshened up she decided to wait for him, not in his room but hers.
Henderson arrived at the palace, Ethan didn’t come to the palace today, he told the king that he won’t be coming, Henderson understands and didn’t questioned him, he went to his bedroom thinking that she is there, he opened the door and entered he didn’t find her, he didn’t call her to know where she was before coming here. He called her line it was switched off, he asked the guards if she left the palace, it was a No, he was a little worried and rushed to her room, he opened the door she was laying on the bed, staring at the ceiling, he looked at the other side and found her phone which was charging.
“Hey!” He muttered, she looked at him and got up from the bed.
“Please sit” He stated with a little smile, he moved forward and sat beside her. “Have you eaten?'” He asked.
“Yes. What about you? You have been out there hope you ate something” She said, he shook his head, “Not hungry” He said with a little smile, she cared about him.
“How was your day?” She asked.
“A little cool” He replied.
“Of course it will cool, you don’t think about me, how i manage. How was my night” She said, looking away.
“I’m sorry….how was your night” He muttered.
“Wh@ťěver. You are acting strange” She said.
“I know” He replied and sighed. “I saw your message. My Lord let’s talk things out” She said, staring at him.
“Okay… I went to see her, like a said yesterday…she is mad at me. It got me down and bothered”
“What did she say? Who is she?”
“I will talk to her” She added.
“She is someone close to me. She helped me to achieve what rightfully belongs to me. But i didn’t listen to her when i finally get it. So when i went to see her, she asked me to leave” He said, he couldn’t tell her what he did and what she said about their child.
“Is she your mom?” She asked. “No. My grandma” He said, she was shocked and can’t stop staring at him like a ghost, he waved his hand to her face to be sure that she is okay.
