” somebody help ” Stephanie screamed. Darrell and Clarissa rushed inside the room. They flinched at the sight of so much blood.

Stephanie sat on the bed beside Gideon. He has been unconscious for two days.
” Stephanie, don’t worry he will be alright ” Patricia said.
” I just want him to open his eyes, at least that would assure me that he will be fine ” Stephanie said in tears.
“You haven’t eaten for the past two days, do you think he will be happy when he finds out”
Stephanie sniffed and wiped her tears with a handkerchief. Gideon moved his hands and slowly opened his eyes.
” cupcake” he called and Stephanie hugged him in tears.
” baby, you scared me” she cried.
” am sorry, how are you” he asked trying to sit up. Patricia moved to him and helped him.
” am fine, are you feeling any pains” she asked. ” no cupcake, am fine” he said and kissed her forehead
The door opened and Lawrence walked inside. ” finally, you are awake” he said
” yeah” Gideon replied.
” your wife really loves you, she has been fasting and staying awake” he said sarcastically.

Gideon laid on the bed cuddling Stephanie. He had been discharged and the doctor said he took something which was poisoned.
Who would have done that!
Was it Clarissa? She had been his maid for years and he trust her so much.
Ariel and Gwen don’t have any business with the kitchen. ” cupcake I have something to tell you ” he said.
” what’s that” she asked looking at his face.
” my company has been suspended “he said and she stared at him confused.
” I know you are confused, let me explain further”
” it all started nine years ago, then I was still in college. I was eighteen and I had a girlfriend called Cali.
I loved her so much and she loved me too. One day our school organized an excursion to the forest.
She was with her friends so I didn’t bother much. Some hour’s later, I got a call from a strange number.
He told me to go inside the bush and I will meet a surprise there. I began to search the bush
I saw Cali Laying lifeless and tear drops we’re on her face. Her gown was torn and stained with blood.
She was R@P£D to death. I was so shocked that I stood there looking at her for minutes.
When I finally regained my self, I knelt before her crying and begging her to wake up
Few minutes later, the corps arrived and arrested me. I tried to explain but I was beaten and asked to keep quiet.
I was taken to prison and then to the court, after the judgment, I was sentenced to five years in prison.
Then Patricia was fourteen, she won a scholarship to study in Canada the day I was imprisoned.
She wanted to stay with me but I begged her to leave. I gave her my card and asked her to take care of her self with the money in it
I stayed in prison for five years and I was released.I was stranded and had no place to stay. Then I remembered my college friend ‘Lawrence ‘.
I went to him and he helped me. To cut the story short, I became a model and also a business man.
But someone is using my past against me now.
Stephanie looked at him sadly. ” what about your parents” she asked.
” they died in an auto crash the year before everything happened” he replied.
” I promise to stay with you no matter what happens, I don’t care if they see you as the ki||er of Cali
I know you didn’t do that, I will always stay by your side” Stephanie said and he hugged her tightly.
