Chapter Fourteen
Si-u arrived at the company and then rushed inside, she met with the receptionist and asked about her sister.
“She left a while ago”.
” What? Where did she go?”. Si-u asked.
“She didn’t tell anyone, she just left”.
” Oh no”. she rushed out quickly still trying to connect to ji-ho number.
A few minutes later, Baek-hyun and his friends drove to the company and were surprised to see some press hanging around the building.
“What is the press doing here?”. Byung-ho asked confusedly.
” You can’t go in there, Baek-Hyun”. Chan-yeol said.
“I know, but I have to see ji-ho,” He said Then Byung-ho’s phone rang, and he picked it up quickly.
📞”Yes, Si-u”. he said and they turned their gaze to him. ” what? How do you mean?…….ok, calm down, I will call you back”. he hangs up and sighs.
“What happened?”. Beak-Hyun asked.
” There is a problem, ji-ho is not present in the company, si-u just said she went to see her in her office but was told she left”.he explained.
“Left? To where?”. Baek-hyun asked surprisedly.
” She didn’t tell anyone where she was going and her number is not connecting”.
“Turn the car around”. He said and started dialing Ji-ho’s number while Chan-yeol took a U-turn and zoomed off. Si-u came over to Su-ho’s cafe, they sat down and Su-ho was trying to calm her down.
” What if something bad happens to her”. she sobs.
“Don’t say that, ji-ho will never do anything to harm herself, maybe she needs a quiet place to think”. Su-ho said.
” This is so not fair, why will they make such an accusation on her, she is innocent of all these”.
“I know, someone is just trying to ruin her reputation”.
” I want to see my sister, where could she be?”. she sobbed and Su-ho patted her back tenderly.
“Stop crying, everything will be fine, Baek-hyun will find her and bring her back”. she said with a sigh.
Baek-Hyun was moving around his office worried about Ji-ho’s whereabouts, they searched everywhere for her and she was nowhere to be found.
” Where could she be?” Chan-yeol asked confusedly.
“Am scared, what if she hurt herself?” Baek-Hyun said palely.
“I don’t think so, maybe she is somewhere trying to hide from all these dramas”. Byung-ho said.
” I just don’t know what to do anymore, she going into a lot of depression right now, I can feel it”. Baek-Hyun said with a sigh.
“Don’t worry, am sure she is fine wherever she is”. Chan-yeol said.
” This is all my fault, she is going through all of this, because of me”. He said.
“Don’t say that”. Byung-ho said and Baek-Hyun left to the window and was staring out from it sadly.
” She didn’t do anything wrong, Ji-ho didn’t do anything of what they are accusing her of, she is as pure as a dove, and she means well to everyone around her” ” He let out a deep sigh.” I miss her”. he said.
“you will find her, don’t just feel sad about it”. Chan-yeol said.
Ji-ho was seated near the riverbank, she was staring out at the water as tears were falling down her cheeks, she cried all her eyes out in pain.
Later in the cool evening, everyone was still worried about Ji-ho’s disappearance, meanwhile, Ha-jun had been trying to connect with Baek-Hyun’s phone but wasn’t going through, so she flipped the phone on the bed angrily.
” d@mn! Why is his phone not connecting”. she picked back her phone and started dialing his number again.
Baek-Hyun sat at the bar in his dining room having his Soju Ç0çƙtail while still trying to connect to ji-ho.
“Come on ji-ho, where are you?”. he said as he took another sip from his drink. Then his cell phone rang and he picked it up immediately he saw the caller ID.📞” hello Byung-ho, any news from Si-u?………he sighed sadly…..ok, I will keep on trying, please try to calm Si-u down and not worry about her sister……ok, talk to you later”. he hung up and sighed. An hour later, his phone rang and he picked it up quickly immediately he saw the caller ID. “hello? ji-ho, where are you? Everyone has been worried, please tell me where you are”.he said an unfamiliar voice came through the other end.
📞”Hello, am I speaking to Baek-Hyun?” he asked politely.
📞 “Yes, who is this?” he asked curiously.
📞 “Am a barman, there is a young lady here with me, she has been drinking to no stop, so I decided to turn on her phone and dial your number because she keeps calling out your name, you should hurry up and come pick her up”.
📞” Oh gosh, where is the place, I will be right there……got it! Just keep an eye on her, I will be right there”. he hung up, picked up his car keys, and left for his car, along the driveway, he received a phone call from Byung-ho who answered immediately.”Byung-ho, I found her, please tell Si-u not to worry…..ok, I will call you back once I get to where she is…..sure”. he hung up and increased the speed of his car. Not long after, he arrived at the clubhouse, he rushed inside to see a few people moving and having fun with their partners, he scanned around and then caught sight of ji-ho resting her head on the bar, he let a sigh of relief and rush to her quickly. ” ji-ho”. he tries to wake her up, then the barman interrupts him.
“Are you Baek-Hyun?” he asked and Baek-Hyun raises his head to him.
“yes, I am”.
” I am the guy that calls you earlier”.
“Oh, thanks a lot”.
” No problem, she looks depressed, she has been here for so long drinking, I try stopping her, but she refuses, “he said.
“Am glad, you called”. he said smiling and he smiled back.
” You are welcome, your girlfriend looks really beautiful, you shouldn’t make her look sad”.
“Sure, thanks”. he said and carried her on his back and then took her bag and phone and walked away after giving the barman some tips, he was pleased and waved at them as they left the bar. He helps her sit in the front seat and then uses the seatbelt, quickly, ji-ho grabs onto his hand and rests her face on it.
” Please don’t go, don’t leave me ” she murmured in her sleep, Baek-Hyun smiled at her and creased her hair, and then planted a kiss on her forehead.
“I will never leave your side, this I promise you”.He left for the driver’s seat and zoomed off, then he made a phone call across Byung-ho.📞” I found her, and am taking her to my house”. he said on the phone and then hung up.
A few minutes later, he arrived at his building and helped Ji-ho to his room, he lay her gently on the bed and started to remove her shoes, and then his cell phone rang, he picked it up, and Si-u’s voice came through the other end.
📞”Baek-Hyun, can I speak to my sister”. she sounded worried on the phone.
📞” Relax Si-u, she is right here with me and she is in deep sleep because of the too much intake of alcohol she took”.
📞 “What? But is she ok?”
📞”She will be fine by tomorrow morning”.
📞” OK, thanks a lot ”
📞”You are welcome, try to get a good night’s rest, your sister will be fine”. he said, then they bid each other good night and he hung up, he stared over at Ji-ho lovingly and sighed, and then she opened her eyes weakly. ” ji-ho, are you ok?” he asked curiously.
“Am sorry, this is all my fault”. she murmured.
” Why are you sorry? You owe me no apologies, I should be the one to apologize to you for going through all this trauma”. he said and she closed back her eyes.
“I should have avoided you when you kept tailing on me, I tried to but I couldn’t, I tried so hard to resist you, but it was too late for me because I was already addicted to you, you make me feel optimistic and loved”. she smiles” I won’t lie to you, I love everything you do to me, I love your smiles”. she moves her hand slowly to his lips” your lips and the way you touches me” she giggles” and the most important one is when you call me “my little pumpkin” I won’t forget all you have done for me, I promise to always remember everything”.
“Why are saying all this? I won’t stop showing you how much I love you, I want to do more for you in the future”. he caressed her cheek.
” That can’t happen, I am not perfect for you, you have a fulfilled life ahead of you and a good woman that can take care of you, I don’t want to be a stumbling block to it, you have a betrothed, she is perfect for you, you two make a great couple”.
“Don’t say that!” he snapped.” I don’t want to be with her, I want you, I can’t love anyone else, except you, my heart beats just for you, please don’t brush me off again, I will fight just to have you all to myself, you mean a lot to me” he kissed her forehead and she opens her eyes to meet his, they stare affectionately Into each other eyes, ji-ho pushed over and lock lips with him softly, she pulled back to look at him. Baek-Hyun felt her chin and then kissed her back, the kissing was intense as he caressed her body, and ji-ho hands went to his shirt to unbutton them, he stopped her quickly and pulled away from her a little.” we can’t, I know you are drunk and I don’t want to take advantage of that”. he sputtered staring lovely at her eyes that were burning with desires.
“But I want to, please don’t stop” ” She kissed his cheek down to his neck and he gulped nervously. ” I want you, Baek-Hyun “” She stared back into his eyes and started to unbutton his shirt, Baek-Hyun couldn’t resist her touch, he caressed her body and they fell into a deep romance, and ji-ho Mõ@ɲed at every kiss he placed on her body, Soon their clothes were scattered on the floor as they were covered with the blanket making out. he stared back into her eyes lovely and kissed her deeply as their fingers entwined.
