She shut the door after her, reaching for the light switch. The light illuminated the entire living room.
She turns to head to her room when she saw him sitting on one of the sofa.
” Jesus Christ!!” She screamed, holding her chest. ” What the f_ck are you doing here?”
” I didn’t mean to scare you.” He apologized.
” Why are you here? How did you even get in here at the first place? ” He shows her the claw of his first finger.

” Okay, so, what now? Why are you here?” She asked again.
” I just wanna talk to you.”
” Fine, I’m listening.”
” No, this isn’t just a talk, I wanna have a real discussion with you. ”
She sat on the sofa opposite his. ” I’m listening. ”
” Do you wanna see this place I have made for the two of us?” He asked, waiting for a positive response.
She gave a nod.
He stands up, walks to her. He stretches his hand, she hesitated to hold it. She stands to her feet. ” Close your eyes.” She did so. ” Now open it. ”
She once again opened her eyes, and they were in a white environment. The surrounding was different from the earth she knew.
” What’s this place?” She asked in awe.
” Our new home. I have prepared this place for us, and together we will rule my people with you by my side. ”
She slowly moved her gaze to him. ” You don’t have to say yes, I’m okay with you saying no.” He said, not wanting to make it look so surprising if she say a No to him.
Harmonie’s eyes caught with something. There was a huge gathering afar of where they stood.
He noticed how silent she has become and decided to know what she was staring at.
There was a wedding ceremony going on. And when she took a close look at the couples, it was the both of them.
She watched how happy she was getting married to him, and how excited they held each other’s hands. ” We can make it not to happen if you want.”
She turned her back, covering her eyes so that he can’t see her. She was crying.
He brought them back to reality. ” Let me prove to you how much I do care about you. I’m not what you think I am. Give me a chance, just a chance to prove my worth. ”
He pulls her into a hug, holding her so tight to himself. She fought to break free but he held her still. He didn’t mind the tears of her eyes which stained his cloth.
” Will you love me? Will you live for me? Will you stay back and tell me that you are the best for me? ” She said in tears.
” You have been the resurrection that I need. You are the hope that I seek for. I will never ask for more than this, and I will always love you… Always. ”
He buried a kiss on her hair, hugging her more tight to himself.
” I wanna know… I wanna know what you are. ” She said. ” What kind of werewolf are you? ”
” I’m not just a werewolf, I’m… I am a lycan. ”
She broke free from the hug, staring into his eyes.” I accept my fate. Tonight, I have decided to accept my fate as your mate but that is under a condition.

That was one difficult word for Jefferson. One single word he can never make.

Every single morning she wakes up, she was always sad. But today was different.

She texted Hanley, ” We are good now. He has promised not to do anything stupid. For now, I can assure you that Ace is safe. ” She drops the phone, heading down the stairs to the kitchen to make herself coffee.
” Miss, your coffee is ready.” A maid came with a cup of coffee in her hand.
Harmonie rushed it not minding how hot it was, returning it back to the maid.
Again, she recalled last night. How possible was it that she was able to answer Jefferson’s call? Even at the point when she was asleep??
She rushed back to her room, standing before her mirror. ” If he could do it, then you can.” She said to herself. ” Just a try, Ham, just a try. ”
She shuts her eyes close, taking a deep breath, sighing heavily. ” Let’s give it a try. ”
The only person she could feel and connect at the moment was her mate…. Jefferson.
” Jefferson.” She whispered. ” Jefferson can you hear me?” She forced herself to mind-link to him since he was in her head. ” Jefferson.”
” Urggh, f_cking answer me. ” She opened her eyes. ” Guess that’s only for the wolves.” She sighed in embarrassment.
” I can hear you. ” Said a deep familiar voice from behind.
She stiffened under his voice.
