Luther had just left the cafeteria when he got a call from the doctor in charge of Sierra.
“She’s awake? Alright, am coming ” Luther ended the call and took to his heels, heading to the lift which whisk him up to the VIP floor.
Sierra was sitting up, talking to the doctor when he arrive and not caring if they were spectators, Luther walk towards her and pulled her into his arms.
“You have no idea how worried I was” Luther said, burying his face in her neck.
On the other hand, Sierra was worried about what Luther action will cause and so, she pulled away from him.
“We will take our leave, sir” The doctor said, leaving the ward with the nurse.
“Are you okay? Do you feel any pain, I can get the doctor for….”
“Am fine and the doctor just checked on me before you showed up. How long have I been out?” Sierra ask, watching him as he pulled a chair to seat beside her.
“Four days. You’ve been in a deep sleep for four days”
“Four days! But what about work and my mom and….”
“Relax. Your mom knew from the onset that you are here and she just left this morning to take a shower, she will be back in the evening since I told her to get some rest and as for your job, I already handle it, remember I own this hospital” he said lightly, trying to tease.
“And also Sunny and Bobby came back yesterday. They are also coming back to see you in the afternoon” he said and she nodded, starring at her hand.
“Luther…I remember everything”
“You remember everything?” A shock Luther ask and she nodded.
“The missing part of my memory came back to me. I remember meeting you, pursuing you, running away from my wedding with Tony and I remember that night…why did you do it, Luther? Why did you hurt me?” Sierra ask, watching the sad expression that cross his face.
“I….that day after we both agree to date each other, mother came to see me” Luther began, his mind drifting back to the event that happen six years ago.

<< FLASHBACK ~ SIX YEARS AGO >>
That night, Luther didn’t want to see his family which is why he chose to go to his apartment.
A place he got through his own means and when he went in.
It was to see Charlotte and his mother waiting for him.
“What are you two doing here and how did you even get in?”
“I got the landlady to open the door for us and It’s your fault for not giving anyone else access to your home” Mary said.
“Fine, you got your way with my apartment. Now leave!”
“Not until I tell you why am here, go get us something to drink, Charlotte ” Mary order and Charlotte left for the wine bar.
“I heard that your seeing your brother fiancee” Mary began.
“Fiancee? “
“Sierra Martins “
“From what I know Sierra is a single girl and we just started dating ” Luther said.
“Your brother is at her home as we speak, asking for her hand in marriage. She’s the girl he chose to become his queen and so, wh@ťěver ties you have with her must be cut ” Mary told him.
“Once again I have to let go of something I like for your favourite son”
“Think it wh@ťěver way you want but you have to do what I say”
“Or what? You will send me off to an unknown place just as you’ve always thr_@ten to?” Luther ask.
“Not this time. Sierra and her mother will be the one to bear the action you take here tonight and let me tell you that I won’t go easy on them” Mary thr_@ten and knowing what she’s capable of, Luther ask in defeat.
“What do I have to do?”

<< FLASHBACK END ~ PRESENT TIME >>
“I had no choice but to be cruel to you. I had to make you h@ťě me so you can marry Tony. I was a coward back then and I failed to protect you, am sorry” Luther apologise, holding onto her hand but she pulled away.
“There’s nothing to apologise for. We weren’t meant to be which was why things went that way and…”
“And now? “Luther prompt, starring fixedly at her.
“It won’t work. It didn’t in the past and it won’t now. The only thing I want from you is to keep your distance from me” Sierra said, not having the courage to look him in the eye.
“Is there really no chance for us?” Luther ask and slowly she shook her head.
“It’s best we leave everything in the past and move on as we should. It’s the only thing that will put me at ease right now” Sierra said firmly and he nodded in return.
“Okay, I will do as you’ve said. I need to speak to the doctor” Luther said before leaving the room.
As soon as he left her room, Luther got a call, he had a lot going through his head that he didn’t even look at the caller before answering the call.
“How is she?” Tony voice came down the line.
“How did you get my number?” Luther ask.
“I got it from Mom and currently am with her at her hotel suite. After hearing about Sierra, I decided to come. I can’t just ignore knowing my fiancee is alive” Tony said.
“Sierra is no longer your fiancee. All that ended years ago”
“Says who? She was my fiancee before her disappearance and she still is. I want to see her” Tony demand.
“No!”
“Luther don’t make me…”
“Just let her be. It’s been six years since she left, six years in which you moved on like nothing ever happen so don’t come claiming the fiance part cause it won’t work”
“So you are saying you won’t let me see her, right?” Tony ask.
“Not in a million years will I let you get close to her” Luther said steely.
“Since you won’t let me see her, I will just have to do it my way”
“What do you mean by…”
“I called to give you a chance but you threw it away. Don’t come looking for Sierra once she’s been taken by my men” Tony said before ending the call.
Luther thought about what Tony said and when he realise what he meant, Luther ran back to Sierra’s room.
On the other hand, Sierra was alone in her room when two men dress in black came in.
“Who are… ” Sierra didn’t get to say more as one of them cover up her nose with a handkerchief and immediately, Sierra was unconcious.

<< HOTEL ROOM >>
Sierra woke up to find herself in an unknown room. At first it was disorienting for her but when she recall what happen to her at the hospital, she immediately sat up.
“Where am I?” Sierra said as she left the bed heading to the front door.
She open the door expecting to see a strange face but she was surprise to see her mom.
“You are awake my dear” Lilian said, walking into the room to give her a hug.
“What happen,mom? Where is this place and why are we here? The last thing I remember was being abducted by some men at the hospital and….”
“Take it easy my sweet. You are safe since this suite belongs to Luther and about being abducted, I won’t say so” Lilian said, smiling at her.
“Those men that took you were the guards Luther assign to protect you. Two days ago, Luther recieve a call from…”
“You mean have been unconcious for two days ever since those guys took me?” Sierra ask and she gave a nod.
“Seems like one of them had put in a bigger doze of sedative which knocked you out for two days. Well, that isn’t important, the important thing here is that Tony is here is Washington and he’s looking for you. On the day he called Luther, he had sent two of his guard to come take you at the hospital but Luther had been more quicker than him”
“He told his guard to get you out of the hospital and they successfully brought you here” Lilian finish.
“But why is Tony looking for me?” Sierra ask.
“According to him, you are still his fiancee” Lilian answered.
“That’s sick”
“He is sick ” Lilian echoed.
“Where’s Luther?”
“He went to speak to them. They’ve been calling him for the past two days and it’s today he went to see them, he’s been gone a while now” Lilian told her.
“You seem calm. I remember you blowing hot when you saw Luther again” Sierra reminded.
“I was but then, I believe that he’s going to do all he can to protect you this time, he assured me of it” Lilian said.
The arrival of someone got them leaving the room.
“You are finally awake, how are you?” Luther ask, moving to her to give her a kiss on the head.
“I…I’m fine” she said moving away from his arms.
“I will be at the kitchen if you need me” Lilian said, giving them a chance to speak alone.
“I heard from my mom that Tony is looking for me” Sierra said.
“He is and that’s why we will be going to see him tonight”
“You were preventing me from seeing him which is why you got me out of the hospital and brought me here, why are you suddenly telling me to go see him when it’s the last thing I want to do” Sierra said and he took hold of her hand.
“Can you just trust me on this. I promise you that our visit tonight will change a lot of things” Luther said and somehow she found herself believing him.

“What’s taking them so long? Do you think Luther change his mind?” Tony ask, walking to and fro in the sitting room.
“I don’t know about that but what I do know is that if you don’t stop your pacing, am going to puke” Mary said to her son.
“But Its past the time he said he’s going to bring her!” Tony yelled startling his mom.
“Maybe they are caught up in traffic. Luther promise to bring her and he always fulfil his promise” Mary said.
“Wh@ťěver, if he fails to bring Sierra to me, I won’t go easy on….” The rest of his words were left unsaid when they heard the door bell.
It was Tony guard who open the door, ushering Sierra and Luther into the suite.
“I told you. Luther is a man of his word” Mary said and that got Tony turning around.
His gaze was focus on Sierra, even at twenty three she’s still very beautiful and she still has that innocent look.
It was one of the thing that got him attracted to her….he thought taking in her gown which complimented her curves.
“Now that you are here, let’s all go in for…”
“Before we proceed for dinner, we’d like to tell you something” Luther began and Sierra stared at him wondering what this something is since she has no idea.
“Go on, we are listening ” Tony urge, hating the way Luther had his arms around Sierra’s body.
“I will be returning to Denmark to claim the throne like you want me to and Sierra will be coming with me” Luther said.
“And why should Sierra go with you? The throne only needs you ” Tony said.
“Just like the throne needs me,it will also need its queen since Sierra and I are married” Luther threw out the bomb, startling everyone including his queen……
