<< SIERRA & SUNNY APARTMENT >>
“You are hurting me, mom” Sierra said, pulling her hand out of her mom’s hold.
“What is wrong? Why did you say that about Luther and why did you hit him? You aren’t a violent type” Sierra said.
“Am not the violent type but when it comes to that boy and his family, I become one” Lilian said, sighing out her anger.
“Tell me what’s going on? How come you know him when I don’t. You said he hurt me but I don’t remember ever being hurt by him or anyone”
“That’s due to the accident. I made a vow never to tell you about it since I was sure that you will never get to see Luther again but he broke his promise and came here to find you!”
“If there was an accident then I must have lost my memory, right?” Sierra ask, Lilian nodded.
“After the accident. You lost your memory, you could only recognize me and everything you did in the previous years but everything that had to do with Luther and his family, you forgot all of it, You didn’t even remember what you were wearing the night the accident took place and I….” Lilian phone rang and she stop what she was saying to answer the call.
“What do you mean by she’s at the hospital? I just left her home an hour ago…Okay, I will be there soon” Lilian ended the call.
“Is something wrong?” Sierra ask.
“Remember Jenny’s mom. She’s in the hospital, she’s got appendicitis and is being operated on”
“Should I come with….”
“No. Just stay indoor till I get back and do me a favour, do not speak to Luther, stay away from him” Lilian warn before leaving her apartment.
Sierra sat on the only sofa in the room, thinking about the little info her mother told her.
She remembered her childhood memories even up to highschool but she can’t recall ever having met Luther.
The intrusion of the door bell got her leaving her seat. Thinking it was her mom, she open the door to see Luther there.
“Can I come in?” He ask softly, the print of the slap from earlier still on his cheek.
“Come in” she offered mainly because she had to know what’s going on.
“Your mom’s told you everything?” He ask as he sat on the sofa while she went into the kitchen.
“Not exactly. She only told me that have got memory loss and that I have to stay away from you. Can you make things more clearer for me?” She ask, joining him on the sofa and giving him an ice pack to put on his face.
“Six years ago. You and I were in a relationship, I remember you telling me it was love at first sight” Luther began, smiling when he remembered the memory.
“Did I perhaps chase you in the past?” Sierra ask and he nodded.
“You never gave me a breathing space. You chased me around until you won my heart”
“What went wrong? Why does my mom say you hurt me? Why did I get into an accident and why did my mom never told me about your existence? If you hadn’t shown up into my life, I will still be in the dark about you” Sierra said and he turn to her, taking hold of her hand.
“I understand your mom for not saying a thing to you since I did hurt you and let me tell you that not one day has pass that I don’t regret my action” Luther said, tears glistening his eyes.
“I love you back then and I still do now. It’s the reason why I came looking for you even when I knew that staying away will be the best thing for you “
“I left Denmark five years ago and I remember getting a brief glimpse of you at your nursing school. I knew then that I wanted you back in my life but when I met your mom, she told me to leave and also promise never to get in touch with you”
“I had no choice but to agree but you ended up sending your resume to Faith hospital. I realise it was fate bringing you back to me and I decided then not to let you go”
“It’s selfish of me after everything that happen but I love you and I know you feel something for me, right?” He asked, holding onto her cheek.
“I….” Sierra wasn’t able to reply since his phone chose that moment to ring and he let her go to answer the call.
“Just stay in that hotel. Don’t even think of coming to my apartment. Do what I say mom, if you show up here, I won’t forgive you ” he said, looking angry.
Sierra was still wondering why he was angry by his mom’s presence when the call ended.
He crouch in front of her, taking hold of her hand to kiss it.
“You do believe me when I say that I don’t want to hurt you and that I only want to be by your side, right?” He ask.
“Are there still more things for me to know? Things that I forgot?” Sierra ask in return and he look away, proving that he is still hiding something from her.
“How about we talk about it when I return. My mom just arrived from Denmark and she wants to see me, I don’t want to keep her waiting for long” Luther said and she gave a nod.
“Walk me to the door” he said and together they both went to the door.
He stood outside, silently watching her while she stared at him too.
Not being able to resist, he pulled her to him and capture her lips in his.
It was meant to be a brief kiss but Luther couldn’t stop himself from wanting more.
The ringing of his phone once again made him end the kiss.
“I will be back in the evening. Promise to wait for me” he whisper against her lips.
“I will” she said in return.
He left after giving her one last kiss. Sierra close the door and went back to the sofa to lay on it.
She fingered her lips while wondering how he hurt her in the past.

“After three long years, I get to see my son again” Mary Maxwell said the moment Luther walk into her suite.
“Three, I thought it was five” Luther said.
“You left Denmark five years ago but for two years, you still made sure to return home and after that fateful day, you never came back” Mary said to him.
“Why should I? You made it clear to me that If I leave, I should never think of coming back since you’ve disown me. I couldn’t disobey your order, mom” Luther said sarcastically.
“Don’t patronise me,Luther. You know I only said that back then so you wouldn’t leave but you did and it’s all because of Sierra, right?” Mary ask.
“How do you know about Sierra?”
“Before coming here, I hired a private investigator to look for you and he gave me the news. I must say that Lilian is very smart, she made us all believe Sierra died during that accident”
“That’s because I told her to do it. It was the only way to protect her from you all” Luther revealed and Mary smiled.
“So you two were in it together? I knew something was odd back then but I chose to ignore because….”
“Keep ignoring mom. Ignore Sierra existence, ignore my being here too and go back to Denmark” Luther said,cutting her off.
“Am afraid that’s impossible. Apart from finding out about Sierra still being alive, I came here to take you home. Denmark needs you “
“Really? I thought Tony was all Denmark needed” Luther said crisply.
“Turns out your older brother isn’t good enough. Over the past three years, he’s been making things worse for everyone and he doesn’t even care. I tried talking to him but he refuse to make a change and so, your father and I have decided that it’s best you come home and take…”
“I don’t want that! Have already built a life for myself in this city and its all I want” Luther cut her off once again.
“Is it the life you’ve built here or is it Sierra that’s holding you down?” Mary ask, getting angry too.
“Think wh@ťěver you want. All I know is that am not going back to Denmark”
“You leave me no choice then, I will just have to have a talk with Sierra”
“Leave her alone! She’s been through enough already. She doesn’t even remember what transpired between us six years ago” Luther said quickly.
“You mean she has memory loss?” Mary ask, smiling.
“She does and it’s the best thing that could ever happen to her since she doesn’t remember. Don’t make things worse by seeing her, I don’t want you or anyone else going to her, I won’t accept it and also my decision not to return to Denmark stays the same” he said, walking towards the door.
“You don’t mind me telling Tony about Sierra?” Mary ask suddenly and that made him turn around.
“Tony won’t care, He never cared when she disappeared six years ago”
“And if he does. What if he’s interested in seeing her again, what will you do?” Mary ask again.
“Am going to do everything in my power to keep him away from her. I won’t let what happen six years ago happen again” he said fiercely and left the room.
Mary angrily hit the sofa she was seating on.
Once again Sierra is back in her sons life and she’s causing chaos like she did years ago.
She won’t let the same thing that happen years ago happen again….she thought as she pick up her phone to call her investigator.
“Send me Sierra’s phone number”

<< EVENING ~ HOTEL ZEUS >>
Sierra could be seen making way to the elevator which whisk her up to Mary’s floor.
She had been surprise when she got a call from Luther’s mom, requesting her to pay a visit to her hotel.
Sierra didn’t want to go but the urge to know the past have been making her feel restless.
She press the door bell and immediately the door open to reveal a middle age lady.
Judging by her dress, Sierra could guess that she’s filthy rich. Luther must have come out of a rich home…she thought silently.
“Come in, Sierra” Mary said, making way for her.
“How come you still look pretty even after six years?”Mary ask lightly making it sound like a compliment when it isn’t one.
“Have actually age a lot” Sierra said in return.
“I doubt that. If you could easily charm my son In the same manner you did years ago then it’s because of this pretty face of yours. Must be fun, right?” Mary ask, her smile vanishing.
“I have no idea what you are talking about about” Sierra said.
” Memory loss. Luther told me about it, you can’t remember anything, right?”
“I do still have memories of my child hood but I just don’t remember the memory I had of Luther and you all in the past” Sierra said truthfully.
“Then you also don’t know that you were engage to one of my son and that’s definitely not Luther” Mary said and seeing the confuse look on her face, she continued.
“You were engage to Tony, my elder son and you still are since you both never broke off the engagement”
“And before I forget, Luther is also engage to his childhood sweetheart and let me tell you that Charlotte won’t be happy knowing about your existence in his life” Mary added cruelly…….
