“Wh@ťěver,the ball in your court,you’ve to pick one,make your choice now” Mr. Cooper said.
Jiwoo went mute for a while but surprisedly broke into laughter which make Mr Cooper wonder why?
“What’s so funny?” He asked in an annoyed tone.
Jiwoo took the pen from the note and signed one of the paper accordingly not leaving any blank space.
She got up and threw the documents back to him.
“I’ve always wanted to get a man like you. But I put up with it for years cos of my son,you choose to make things easy for me.. I appreciate that” She chuckled.
“Really?” Mr. Cooper scoffed and moved closer to her.
“Don’t even think of trying anything funny or you want the world to see who the famous CEO is. I honestly don’t understand why you would always treat yourself like that,what has my poor baby ever done to you to deserve a worthless dad? You never even cared for him since he was a kid,uou forced him into things he didn’t want and he agreed cos he thought you’re doing it cos you love him but it’s the other way round”
“No matter how famous he get,how talented he was. Do you know how hard it is for him to choose to hide his face from the world? He can’t even show his face to his fans cos of you! I h@ťě you!” Jiwoo yelled.
Mr. Cooper chuckled.
“If you think this is over,you’re greatly mistaken” He picked the documents and went up to his room.
Jiwoo exhaled loudly,she has been holding her breath as she speak,she won’t deny she was afraid of him.
“This is all your fault Jiwoo,your son is suffering because of this mad man and you can’t even do anything to stop it. I’m sorry Ricky” She said in tears.

<NEXT MORNING,L-L HOSPITAL>
Numerous heads turned as Lily ran into the hospital.
She looked like a madwoman,running as if she was being chased. She was panting and out of breath,and her hair was disarranged but she cared less.
She just got called by Jenner after waking up,and she rushed here immediately.
She ignored the stares of the people around her,all that matters right now is to see Rudy.
Thanks to the lift,she got to his ward pretty fast and ran in,he was still in bed,his eyes closed.
“I thought aunt said you wake up,is this a prank?” She bit her lips,still breathing heavily as a result of how she rushed there.
“How can you be sleeping soundly when you haven’t see me? Open your eyes already, I’ve missed you so much”
Nothing happened,she sat next to his bed placing her heads in her hands.
“Did I just said you miss me?” Rudy voice came up. Lily got up instantly.
“Guess who’s not dead?” He winked and Lily literally jumped on him.
“You’re really alive,thanks for not leaving me” She said in tears,still hugging him so tight.
“Calm down Lily,you’re hurting me” Rudy’s voice came out low. He could almost not breath from her hold.
Lily broke the hug.
“I’m sorry… Are you okay?” She asked worriedly.
Rudy nodded with a smile.
“How dare you go into a coma without me?” She added childishly.
“We’re you that scared to loose me?”
Lily nodded.
“I met a pretty interesting girl,she wanted to be my friend,too bad I didn’t spent much time with her” Rudy said.
Lily hit him.
“Do you think this is funny? How can anyone replace me?” She snapped with an eye roll.
“I was only joking okay? And stop crying,you look more ugly” He draw her closer and hugged her.
“I miss you the most” He added and Lily smiled.
“Don’t get hurt again because of me” She muttered.
“I can’t promise that” Rudy said and Lily break the hug.
“I’m serious yunno,do you know I nearly got ki||ed by your girlfriend because of what happened?”
“What did she do to you?” Rudy asked seriously.
“I don’t blame her though,I’ll do much more if I’m in her position”
Rudy chuckled.
“Don’t go out alone at night and always return home early” He added.
“Why?”
“Just do as I say,listen to me for once… You’ve to promise me you won’t stay out late” Rudy said.
“Fine!” Lily replied.
“What if you just go back to your place?”
“No,I’m not returning to that house,you’re talking as if you don’t know my mum” Lily shook her head.
“I’m only worried about you”
“I know,I can take care of myself. You’re just returning from dead and you’re already nagging me” Lily groaned.
Rudy sighed.
“Do wh@ťěver you want then” He rolled his eyes.
“I will” She glared at him.
“Gosh,why are you always so stubborn?” Rudy scoffed.
“You might as well go back to your coma best friend” Lily scoffed.
“I only want you. No one can replace you and you know it” He hugged her again.
“I missed your scent” Rudy said.
“Me too!” Lily replied with a smile.
Minnie folded her first and closed the door silently before walking away.

<3PM••GO GO GIRL>
After washing her face,Linda brought out her lip gloss and applied it on her lips before stepping out of the restroom.
“You scared me!” She exclaimed seeing Charles in front of the door.
“Sorry,I didn’t mean to” Charles gave a smile.
Linda nodded and began leaving,Charles joined her.
“Are you free after this $h00t?” He asked.
“Yes,why” Linda faced him.
“Can we talk over dinner if you don’t mind,I don’t want to eat alone” Charles grinned.
“Why would you eat alone?”
“I don’t have a family” Charles replied and Linda looked at him pitifully.
“I’m sorry…..
“It’s okay,so what do you say? It won’t take long I promise” Charles said.
“Okay” Linda finally agreed.
“Thank you” Charles smiled as they started walking together.

<SOUNDSCAPE ENTERTAINMENT>
Trace noticed Kris constantly checking his phone,he dropped his guitar and went to him.
“Are you okay?” He sat next to him.
Kris looked up and nodded.
“Are you expecting a call from someone?” Trace asked.
Kris shook his head.
“Why do you ask?” He said.
“I’m just worried. You’ve been like this since an hour ago,aren’t you going to the mansion?” Trace got up.
“I was waiting for you guy to be done. Where are others?” Kris looked around.
“They already left” Trace replied. They both left the room.
‘They were supposed to do done by 5. Did she went home?’ Kris thought.
Trace noticed his restlessness but said nothing.
They suddenly ran into Mike,he just arrived. He bowed and almost left but Kris held him back.
“Why are you coming alone? Where’s Charles and Linda?” Kris ask without thinking twice.
“They both left after the $h00t,I thought they came back already” Mike replied.

<LATER>
After Charles and Linda’s dinner,they proceeded to have drinks and chat. They had been drinking for about 30 minutes,and Linda was now very drunk that she began vomiting.
“Are you okay?” Charles asked with a worried look on his face as he approached Linda.
Linda was leaning against his car,looking very drunk. She was swaying on her feet,unable to stand up straight.
“I think I had too much to drink” Linda mumbled.
“I should have stop you from drinking too much” Charles said.
“It’s all my fault. I haven’t had this much to drink in ages. I guess my body isn’t used to it anymore,” she said barely able to form coherent sentences.
Charles could tell that she was really feeling the effects of the alcohol.
“Let’s get you home,” he said gently,trying to help her Into the car.
He buckled her in and closed the door,then got into the driver’s seat.
“Where’s your address?” Charles asked after he had started the car.
No reply came from her.
She just mumbled incoherently,her head falling against the window.
“Tell me your address so I can take you home” He asked again,but she just kept talking gibberish.
Charles realized that there was no way he could get her address,so he decided to take her to his place instead.
It was only a few minutes away anyway.
He glanced over at Linda periodically,making sure she was still okay. She was fast asleep,her head lolling against the window.
After few minutes of driving,he stopped the car in his mansion. He carried her in and lay her gently on the couch.
He tucked the hair covering her face behind her ears and sat beside her,staring at her pretty face.
“Kris is really lucky to have you” he said sadly and stood but Linda suddenly held his hand.
“I’m feeling dizzy…..” She mumbled.
“Huh?” Charles leaned closer to hear what she said.
“What do you say?” He asked but she didn’t repeat it.
Linda suddenly held his face.
“Who are you? You’re handsome,but you’re no match for my Kris” She smiled drunkenly and closed her eyes.
Her hand dropped from his face.
Charles eyes fell on her lips and he gulped. They are just too tempting to ignore.
‘She won’t recall tomorrow anyway’ His subconscious mind said.
Slowly,he began to leaned towards her lips,his lips brushed hers a bit. Like that,he held her face and kissed her.

<NIGHT>
Ricky keep pacing in front of his apartment waiting for Lily.
“Why is she not coming?” He thought.
His phone suddenly beeped,it’s a text from Jiwoo.
•I ALREADY GOT THE ADDRESS,YOU DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ME•
He read and immediately dialed her number which she picked instantly.
“Aren’t you bored? Should I come over?” He asked her.
“Not at all. You know how long I’ve dreamt of leaving that beast and I finally got what I want. You can visit anytime you’re free” Jiwoo replied.
“Okay”
“Goodnight son,I love you” Jiwoo said and hang up.
Ricky suddenly caught sight of Lily. She was just heading back.
Their eyes met for a moment,but she quickly looked away,trying to walk past him.
Ricky grabbed her hand,stopping her on tracks.
“We need to talk”

Lily was sitting down across from Ricky,cradling White in her arms. An uncomfortable silence hung in the air,neither of them willing to speak first.
Finally,Ricky cleared his throat and broke the silence.
“I want to apologize….
“I’m no longer angry with you” Lily cuts in.
Ricky’s face brighten up immediately.
“Really?”
Lily nodded and dropped White.
“There’s no reason to be angry,I understand why you did it and I’ve forgiven you” She said.
“So,will you be my girlfriend again?” Ricky asked.
“Don’t tell me you actually took the break up seriously? I just said that out of anger” Lily replied.
“I was devastated when I thought you really break up with me,” Ricky said,and Lily let out a soft chuckle.
“About the song at the second round competition. Was it for me?”
“Yes” Ricky replied.
“Really? Can you hear it from you again?” She giggled.
“Like right now?”
Lily nodded.
“I want to be sure it’s you I saw on stage. Please!” She pouted cutely.
“Let’s do that later”
“Why?” Lily frowned.
Ricky placed his hand on her waist and pulled her closer.
“I miss your lips badly”
“Me too….”
Ricked leaned closer and almost kissed her but she suddenly placed a finger on his lips,stopping him.
“Is something wrong?”
“Let’s kiss with your mask on… Idol” Lily replied.
