Without saying a word, Ryan turned around leaving the library. Vanilla glared at Hilda who smirked before running after him
“Why will everyone be happy while I’m not?”Hilda muttered going to seat
Camilla didn’t say a word, she only watched Vanilla who was already afar

FLASHBACK
MONTHS AGO*
The whole atmosphere was chilly. Yes! It rained the previous night
Flora got down from the bed. She brushed her hair backward going to the bathroom.
The running sound of the shower could be heard as the warm water poured down on her. Few minutes later she was done bathing.
TEN MINUTES LATER**
Flora descended from the stairs heading directly to the dinning. There, she met Vanilla who was already prepared and seated
Mrs Kaitlyn….Hilda and then, Camilla
She went sitting beside Vanilla. Yes! They are best of friends just as Camilla and Hilda are.
“Hey rag! Didn’t your mom teach you some manners?” Came Mrs Kaitlyn
Hilda chuckle
Flora kept quiet. She ate silently.
That was how it had been. The ill treatment she got…. Just because she was the daughter of a mistress who ran away months after she was birthed.
“Mom!” Hilda pouted
“Must this douchebag sit here? I thought I’m the only legitimate child dad has” Hilda said again
“Hey! Watch it. Flora isn’t a douchebag” Vanilla flared
“You’re in my house remember?” Hilda sneered
“Your dad owns the house and not you….monkey” Vanilla smirked
“Mom!” Hilda cried
“Get out of here you both!”mrs Kaitlyn growled
As fast as they could, Flora and Vanilla ran off.

ON THEIR WAY TO SCHOOL
“What? Why are you silent?” Vanilla nudged Flora
“You don’t have to talk back at her” Flora sighed
“For goodness sake you’re been bullied. I h@ťě the fact that you’re a weakling”
“I…I’m just an illegitimate daughter. All there is fated to happen”
“Because you allowed it”Vanilla hissed
“Are you being angry right now?” Flora smiled
“Of course. You don’t even get up to what Hilda spends a day. You can always report to your dad but you won’t, you’re always scared” Vanilla chided
They continue walking and talking. Immediately they got to school, Ryan ran to them. He hugged Flora first before facing Vanilla
Jealousy flashed on her face when she didn’t get any hug but, she was quick to replace it with a smile. Well, he has been her crush
“I checked out your result and you did absolutely great” Ryan said to Flora who smiled
“What about mine?” Vanilla pout
“Uhh, you can check yours”Ryan replied
“But…I’ve been there before Flora came. I’ve been your best friend” Vanilla hurtfully said
“You can check yours” Came his voice again
He dragged Flora away while Vanilla stood, staring at them
“Do you feel heartbroken?” Hilda said from behind
Vanilla cleaned her face before facing her
“Who told you I am?”
“Isn’t it obvious? Uhh…Camilla?” Hilda faced Camilla
“Really obvious”Camilla replied
“I told you…..”
“I know you h@ťě her will all the blood flowing through your heart and veins but I won’t agree to what you want. Got it!!” Vanilla cuts in.
“I know you love Ryan but guess what….he won’t ever look at you as far as she’s around. You introduced her to him and she stole him away from you. That’s who she has always been. A bad aura!”
“Shut up!”
“Are you scared that I’m saying the right thing?” Hilda smiled
“I said shut up!!” Vanilla yelled and ran off.

TENNIS COURT*
Flora ran in immediately she saw Vanilla.
“I’ve been searching for you” she said
“What?”Vanilla whimpered without looking up
“Have you been crying?”Flora asked sitting beside her. To her surprise, Vanilla moved away
“Yes!”
“I….”
“You caused it” came Vanilla’s sarcastic voice
“H..how?”
“Don’t pretend you don’t know you devil! Why must you take him away from me. You knew I loved him and you went for him…why?”Vanilla screamed taking Flora aback
“Nilla….I…” Flora paused playing with her fingers
“I don’t want to see you again. Leave me alone!” Vanilla stood up walking away

CAFETERIA**
“Have you seen Flora?” Ryan walked up to Vanilla when she walked into the cafeteria without Flora
“Do I look like her bodyguard?” Vanilla replied coldly and left
“Why the cold shoulder?” Ryan ruffled his hair
“Wow! Look who we have here!”Hilda smiled after she looked up and saw Vanilla
“You said that you want to teach Flora a lesson.” Vanilla said
“Of course”
“Tell me about it”
“Now? It can’t be now. I’ll tell you at the appropriate time. So are you part…”
“Take that $h|t outta your mind. I wish to teach her a lesson doesn’t mean I’ll choose you over her, become your friend or h@ťě her. You’re still the devil here” Vanilla cuts in and walked away
“Has anyone told you that your sister behaves like a witch?”Hilda faced Camilla

DISMISSAL HOUR*
“Ain’t you leaving?”Ryan asked Flora who stopped walking
“I haven’t seen Vanilla. I’m gonna wait for her” Flora smiled
“But…”
“Your friends are waiting” Flora cuts in pointing at Rover, Range and Emerald who stood far from them
“Alright!”Ryan uttered defeated
“I’ll be waiting at the party tonight”he winked while Flora smiled
He ran off
After standing for close to five minutes, Flora made to leave but immediately she took a step, Vanilla jumped on her
“f-__-k!”Flora yelped as they both landed on the floor
“Haven’t you been eating good food lately or your step mom wouldn’t allow you?” Vanilla laughed as they sat up
“Seriously?”flora frowned
“I’ve been waiting for you and this is all you could do?”She chided
“I’m sorry” vanilla apologized and Flora scoffed
“Wow! Do that again. This personality will suit you”
Flora grinned
They started walking silently
“ I’m sorry” Vanilla said
“I allowed my emotions get better side of me. I’m very sorry”
“I should apologize. I didn’t know that I’ve been causing you hell of pains” Flora muttered
“Do you wanna cry now?” Vanilla mocked
“Maybe”
“Cry baby!” Vanilla laughed
“You…should stay away from Hilda. For now”
“Why?”flora raised her brow
“Because I think i did something I shouldn’t have. I went to her. I wanted to teach you a lesson and I deeply regret doing that” Vanilla said
Flora went mute
“I forgive you”she said after being silent
“Really?” Vanilla’s eyes brightened
“You should know that you’re the only friend I have”
“Don’t go there again” Vanilla rolled her eyes
“There’s a party tonight” Flora informed
“I know and I’m attending”
“I can count on you” Flora hugged her

SAME DAY~8PM
The booming of music could be heard from afar. Students were all over the places drinking, dancing and talking
“Ryan over here. Let go of the girlie”Rover waved
Emerald was busy with Hilda. Camilla was making out with a guy
“I’ll just go to… Vanilla”Flora withdrew herself running off before Ryan could utter a word
She was putting on a pink bikini which revealed her long straight legs
BESIDE THE POOL••
“Hey sissy”Flora hugged Vanilla who’s legs were inside the pool
“I thought…you and…Ryan”
“I left him. You’re bored so I came”
“Wooowwww!”
“I’m d@mn hungry. I’ve been drinking”Flora pout
“Let me get us something”Vanilla stood up
She dashed out of the pool. When she got far away, someone pulled her
“What?”Vanilla frowned when she saw Hilda
“Have you forgotten?”Hilda reminded
“I’m free to change my mind ain’t I?”
“Seriously?” Hilda raised her brow
“Yup! Back off!” Vanilla hissed and walked out
Minutes later, with two trays on her hands Vanilla walked back to the pool
“I got this”She smiled giving Flora a tray
“Wow! I’m sure you have good taste” Flora said perceiving the aroma
“f-__-k. I’m salivating”she said again, about to dig in but stopped
“What?”Vanilla asked
“I smell potatoes”
“You must be joking. Why will I put potatoes when I know that you’re allergic to it?” Vanilla cussed
Flora said nothing
“Are you doubting me?” Vanilla asked. She used her chopsticks to search for potatoes but couldn’t find any
Unknown to then, the potatoes were diced into smaller pieces
“You should eat up. Me putting potatoes in your meal means that I want to ki|| you….and you know I can’t”Vanilla said calming Flora down
They dig in, eating and talking and laughing
Vanilla’s phone rang which made her excuse herself
She went a bit distance from Flora
“You think I will just let it slide? You wanted to teach her a lesson so, watch with joy while she react to the allergy” Hilda’s voice said from the other side
Vanilla faced Flora. She ran to her quickly but was already late because the allergy already started
Flora was shaking vigorously with foam coming out of her mouth as she fell into the pool
“Flora!!!!!” Vanilla screamed capturing the attention of the students
She swam into the pool dragging Flora out
“Please don’t leave me!!! I’m sorry!!!” Vanilla cried pressing Flora’s chest
Her hands were shaking
Ryan ran to them. He was shaking too and when he touched her, she was already stiff
“Y….you ki||ed her”he said with a darkened face
