Xavier is down already, he’s even dressed up for church service.
June finally came down on a blue gown and heels.
“Good morning!”he smiled and June stopped to see who he’s greeting.
“Na me?”she asked and turned right and left again.
“Yes, you”he smiled again.
“Morning, how your night?”she said when she got to the dinning.
“Amazing”he smiled more.
“Ahah, you don ready for church?”she asked after scanning his outfit and he nodded like a child.
“You fine”she said and he smiled more. She wasn’t even looking at him.
“We no fit eat this morning”she said and he finally stopped smiling.
“Why?”
“Fasting na, make we follow God too no chop”she said and he frowned.
“I’m very hungry this morning, I can’t skip meal”he said.
“Na true, I don forget say you dey sick”she said and he frowned.
“Wetin?”
“I’m not sick”he said and she nodded.
“No vex ehn, I go buy you sweet”she pat his check but he kept frowning.
“I go buy you sweet na”she said.
“Do I look like a child?”
“You be pikin for me na”she let go of his check.
“I’m nineteen, I’m an adult”he said.
“Oya oya, because you dey happy today make I leave you but if you argue with me again I go remind you say we no be agemate”she said and he nodded before smiling.
“Eat make we go”she said and he sat down, smiling.

< 1pm * Wallace Mansion >
Finch has been in his room all day with Alma. She wouldn’t let him rest once he’s home.
“There’s a woman and a girl downstairs”little Alma said.
“Don’t peep on them”Finch said.
“I was just too curious to peep”she said and he frowned.
“And I heard she telling mom about you and her daughter..”she stopped.
“Why did you stop?”
“You said I shouldn’t have peeped on them”she said and he faked a smile.
“Come on little Alma”
“You’re going against your words”she said and he stood up.
“Sometimes I wonder if I should have been the second child”he began walking to the door.
“Then let’s go to mom now and get in her stomach back”she said and he laughed.
“We’d be hurting her by doing that, why don’t you act as the little girl you are, it’d solve everything”he said as they head to the living room.
“I should be acting like the first born since you wanna be the second child”she said and he was about replying when they saw Gold. She was obviously coming to his room.
“Hi Finch!”she smiled and Alma chuckled silently.
“Gold! What are you doing here?”he asked.
“Your mom and mine are good friends so I tagged along with my mom when she said she was visiting”she said.
“Oh…”
“Hi pretty”she smiled at Alma who returned it.
“I’m Alma”
“Gold”
“You don’t look like one but you’re pretty”little Alma said.
“Thanks”
“I’ll be in my room big bro”she waved and ran off.
“Let’s get to know each other since I’m here”Gold said.
“Sure”he said.

“Finally I can breathe”Xavier groaned as he fell on the couch. They just came back.
“Na because of only church way you go”she sat on the other couch.
“I had to bear the noise just for you”he said and the app translator machine on the table translated.
“You see this thing way dey do you, if you follow me go my place, we go go meet pastor way go pray for you and e no go do you again”she said and he sat up.
“Forget about me and let’s talk about you. Don’t you wanna speak good english?”he said.
“Wetin make you ask?”she said.
“Cause I want to help”he said.
“Sometimes you go act as person way get sense another time you go act like person way no get sense again”she said and he frowned.
“See now, you don dey vex”she said.
“Why won’t I be angry when you just insulted me”he said.
“See why I say you be pikin, no worry na ice cream I go buy for you next”she smiled and he frowned deeply.
“You no fine when you dey vex”she laughed and he stopped frowning.
“Na you fine”she smiled.
“You should say handsome”he said and she eyed him.
“If you no like am, I go say you no fine, you ugly”she said.
“Fine is okay”he smiled.
“Put film make I watch”she said.
“I still have few questions”he said.
“Oya ask fast”she said.
“What do you have in mind to do?”he asked.
“I no even know when I go go my country back but if I go back, I never know wetin I go do”she said.
“You don’t have parents?”he asked.
“They don die, na my uncle I dey stay with”she said.
“Ohh….”
“My uncle na wicked man, he no even allow me go school, make I even learn work na lie, e no want make I do anything. If I later make am, ah! e go know wetin I go do am”she said and he kept staring at her, feeling sorry already.
“Let’s watch the movie”he said and she nodded.

< Next day * College * Cafeteria >
They had an early lecture which just ended so they’re all in the cafeteria.
“You should be with your girls Noah”Mimi said and he groaned.
“My dad said if I fail this semester he wouldn’t pay for coverage, so I’m gonna repeat”he said and they laughed.
“Oh my best friend!”Xavier said sarcastically.
“I shouldn’t have said a thing”Noah scoffed.
“How was your outing with Finch?”Mimi faced June and Xavier expression changed.
“I enjoy myself”
“Wow! My mom finally set me on a blind date”Mimi said.
“At last, I was thinking you’d remain single while you keep looking at me secretly”Xavier said and it was now Noah’s turn to laugh.
“I told you already! I don’t like you Xavier, you’re not my type!”she frowned and he laughed.
“Hope the guy likes you cause you’re too tiny”Noah said and she hit his head.
“I don’t even know why I started talking to you both”she scoffed.
“You can’t resist our charm!”they said and she made disgusting faces while they laughed.
Mimi stood up and pushed Xavier away sitting on his seat since he’s close to June.
“Do you know how to dance?”she asked.
“Dance?”
“Yes, any style”

“Good, we should have a ticktock dance, we’ll dance and post it”she said and June nodded.
“You can really dance?”Noah asked.
“Yes na”
“Excellent, can’t wait to start having much followers”Mimi giggled.
“You wanna use her?”Xavier asked.
“Come on Xavier, don’t take it personal, if they don’t like her, am I still using her?”she said and he sighed.
“Here comes your girlfriend!”Noah said and they turned to the direction he’s facing.
“She isn’t my girlfriend!”
“Hey guys!”Diamond said as she approached them.
“Hi!”
“Xavier can we talk?”she asked and just as Xavier was about talking, Finch came.
“Let’s go June”he said and she stood up.
“What? Just like that?”Xavier snapped.
“Zavier I….”June trailed.
“She’s not going with you”Xavier stood up.
“Why?”
“Come on Xavier, let them go”Diamond tried holding him put he took his hand away.
By now, everyone diverted their attention on them.
“She can’t go with you”he said again.
“Still why?”
“Cause I don’t like you being with her, it angers me to the point that I feel like punching you!”
“Stop trying to confuse us and let your deal out, even if you h@ťě me, you wouldn’t care if I’m with someone you h@ťě”Finch said.
“And who told you I h@ťě her”he said.
“Seriously you started liking older…..”
“What if I do? What would you do?”
“Stop this child act and let her go with me”Finch said.
“For the last time Finch, stop being close to her, I h@ťě it and stop telling me she seems to get your attention, say it to her and know her reply and if you need a babysitter, get one cause I’m not sharing my own babysitter anymore!”he said and held June’s hand, walking out with her.
