“Tell your dad I am not going to any honeymoon. I have works to face here in Texas. ” Madison said to Neil who was sitting on the bed.
They were both in the room and Madison wasn’t buying Chairman Armstrong idea. Staying with Neil for a week all in the name of an honeymoon.
“It’s just for a week. You know there’s no way to convince Father. What ever he wants he tries to get it. So let’s just play along. Even though it’s for the meantime” Madison scoffed.
“I’m not ready for that. I’m not leaving Texas and that’s final” Neil sighed before speaking up.
“You know my Dad would never agree”
“And I don’t care even if I have to escape from this house then I’ll do it. It’s like I’m suffocated here. Everyone trying to dictate my life for me” Madison yelled.
“Don’t talk about my family that way Madison. You’re just the one who isn’t making it conducive for yourself” Neil gritted his teeth.
Madison could sense that he was already getting angry by her words but she ignored him.
“What are you gonna do? Beat or f-__-k me. That’s what you’re best in anyways” She rolled her eyes.
“You’re very mean and no one can ever like you that way.” Neil uttered.
“And you also manwhore” she retorted.
They were about to start an argument but then a knock came on the door of the room and they both turned.
“Who’s there”
“Sir, Ma’am the chairman said I should call you both down for dinner” The maid said from outside the room but it was loud for the both of them to hear.
“I’m not going down there. I will eat in the room. I can’t bear the tension down there”
“Suit yourself. I’m off” Neil said and left the room. Madison stomped her foot on the floor.
“Urrggghh!!. I seriously h@ťě this” Before leaving the room also.

Everyone was seated in the dining room. The maids were yet to bring dinner and that’s because they’re waiting for Madison and Neil to First arrive.
“Daddy you’re back. I missed you so much” Anastasia pouted as she hugged Chairman Armstrong.
“How’s your studies. Don’t forget that the principal and teachers are giving me updates about your movement. If I hear that you’re still moving around with that boy. I’m taking you back to Paris and you’re never returning back” Chairman Armstrong said sternly.
“Yes Daddy. I promise to focus only on my studies” Anastasia said with a plain expression looking at her fingers.
“Good girl” He patted her head and she went back to sit. Her Dad was part of the reason why she broke up with Andy.
“You didn’t ask about me. I’m I that insignificant even to my own brother” Aunt Marie said with a slight frown.
“You’re not Marie. What about your daughter when is she coming back to Texas” he asked.
“She still insists on staying in the United States and I can’t oppose her decisions so l let her do what she wants” Marie said and He nodded.
“I just hope she doesn’t turn out to be like her mother” Madison said dragging out a chair for her to seat down.
“What’s that suppose to mean” Marie turned to her glaring.
“Nothing just stating facts” Madison replied innocently.
“Brother. You see she’s getting on my nerves. This girl is so insolent she doesn’t respect her elders” Marie said.
“She didn’t say anything bad Marie. She was just looking out for you. ” Chairman replied.
“Why can’t you just see that she’s getting on my nerves”
“That’s enough Marie. If you’re going to cause a rift here then you’re free to leave” He banged his hands on the dinning table and everywhere went silent.
Aunt Marie casted Madison a glance and she winked at her. That added more to her anger.
Neil was the last to enter the dining room and he kept a poker face as he sat beside Madison.
“What took you long ? Everyone was waiting for you” Chairman asked but Neil didn’t reply.
Madison also wondered. He was the first to leave the room before her but she arrived first.
Or is there a secret route to the dinning room that she wasn’t aware of that made him arrive late.
Then the maids came in and the foods were being served and everyone dig in. But there was something different.
Lora’s action. She was so silent throughout the whole dinner. She didn’t even say anything but one could notice how shaky her fingers were on her cutleries as she ate.
After the dinner Madison and Neil retired to their room but none of them spoke to the other. Madison was the one taking the bed this night while Neil was sleeping on the couch.
THE NEXT DAY*
Madison shifted in her sleep and she could feel her hands wrapped around a strong body. She was inhaling an intoxicating manly scent.
She snuggled closer but she remembered something. She was the only one on the bed. The bed was even more comfy than normal.
The breeze entering the added to her weird suspicions and then she flapped her eyes open.
“Arrrggghh” Her scream rented the whole place and Neil was forced to wake up from his own sleep and the sight made his eyes widened.
Madison looked round the room and then jumped down from the bed going to the opened window in the room.
She gasped again. They were in the middle of the sea. That only means one thing. They were on a sailing ship.
Then she turned to Neil angrily, “How did we get here?” She asked and he scoffed.
“How am I supposed to know” He replied.
“I was sleeping on my bed and now I am finding myself in the middle of the sea stuck with you” She yelled angrily.
“Why are you shouting at me. I’m as confused as you are. I’m still trying to figure it out so just calm down” Neil said calmly.
“That’s my problem with you. You don’t take things serious. I need to get back home” Madison said.
Neil stood up from the bed ignoring Madison’s rants. Was this a dream or what?
Then he walked around the room. There was a wardrobe in the room there and it was filled with both male and female clothes and he guessed that it belonged to both him and Madison.
“How did all these get here” He muttered but then his eyes widened.
“Wait… Don’t tell me it was…..” He paused as the realization hit him.
“Dad. He’s responsible for all this. That old man. He had all these planned out” Neil palmed his face.
“Are you telling that it’s chairman that did this. Is this the honeymoon he was talking about”
“Why didn’t I figure this out. This man had something up his sleeves” Madison clenched her fists.
Then there was a knock on the door and then a dark-skin bearded man came in. He had a phone on his hand.
He gave Neil the phone and that moment the phone ran and Neil answered the call.
Chairman Armstrong laughter filled the whole room and Neil frowned.
“I’m sure you both are amazed and surprised about where you are right now. “
“The ship you are right now was bought by me and it’s taking you somewhere. You both shouldn’t flare up and enjoy your honeymoon. Don’t forget I need my grandson” He said and then he cut the call instantly.
Angrily he smashed the phone on the floor and it broke to a million pieces. The bearded man left the room while looking at the expression on the couple’s faces.
“What are we going to do now?” Madison asked calmly. She also heard what Chairman said on the phone.
“What a foolish question to ask. Simple we do as he wishes”
