“Oh it’s my boyfriend Dean”
“You’re too young to have a boyfriend Pearl. What were you thinking” Donovan yelled at her and she blinked her eyes twice.
“How’s that your business?” She retorted and Donovan went speechless for a minute.
Pearl had never talked back to him before. The glint he was seeing in her eyes was so different.
She would have just listened to him and then she would complain later. How much had they influenced her in her stay at Cambridge.
“I’m not gonna let you ride with me with his@zzhole tagging along” Donovan said using an eye to glare at Dean who was chewing from a bubble gum.
“I’m twenty-three Donovan for goodness sake. I’m not a child anymore so if you don’t want me to ride with you then I will call mum to send a driver to pick us up” She snapped and he sighed.
He closed his eyes and exhaled before replying, “Fine” .
“I love brother” She smiled and kissed his cheek.
He collected some of her luggages as he led them into the car. He dropped the luggages in the booth.
Pearl wanted to go into the backseat with Dean but he held her back.
“Stay in the passengers seat. I’ve missed you” He said and Pearl smiled.
“Okay”
ARMSTRONG MANSION*
Madison alighted the stairs. She was wearing a purple tight off-shoulder gown with high black boots. Lora saw her from the sitting room and smiled.
“Good morning Mum” She greeted forcing a light smile on her face.
“Where are you going this morning” Lora asked and Madison breathed before replying.
“I have a meeting with my manager this morning” She replied and Lora nodded.
“Be sure to come back early. I bought some tickets to the cinema we would be going this evening” Lora said.
“By ‘we’ you mean” Madison asked.
“Oh just you, Neil and I” Lora replied and Madison scoffed.
“I’m sorry but I’m not interested. I would be very tired when I am back” Madison rolled her eyes when replying.
“I know you don’t love my son. Just do this for me. You can just ignore him during the movie. Huh… Please” Lora caressed her hand and Madison sighed.
How can she refuse this woman. She desperately wants to say no but her pleading eyes was convincing her so badly.
“Urrggghh… Fine i’ll go” Madison sighed and Lora smiled widely.
“The movie is by 5pm so we have to leave before then” Lora smiled and left. The forced smile on Madison face fell and it turned to a frown.
“I thought you disappeared after I didn’t see you for the past two days” Aunt Marie said and Madison rolled her eyes.
This woman hasn’t learnt her lesson. Is she trying to pick a fight with her or what. She wasn’t ready for that this early morning.
“It would have wished to disappear since I wouldn’t get to see your ugly face anymore” Madison said with a silly smile and Marie clenched her fist.
“I wish you a bad day at work. Enjoy” Aunt Marie said and turned to leave.
“And I wish you a miserable time at home since you’re jobless” Madison hissed and left.
The driver was already waiting so she hop in and left instantly.
NA ENTERTAINMENTS*
“The proposal for new intakes of….” The secretary paused on what she was saying when she saw Neil rubbing his thumb on his lips as he stared into space.
“Boss… Sir” She called and then Neil snapped out of his thoughts as he hummed in response.
“Just go and do wh@ťěver you want. I’m exhausted” Neil said holding his forehead.
“Sir but you just came to the firm two hours ago” His PA said but Neil glared at her.
“I’m sorry sir” She said and ran out of the office.
Neil ran his hands into his hair as he couldn’t get Madison’s red face from his head. How she kissed him in her drunk state and he couldn’t get it out of his mind.
“Sir there’s a lady outside looking for you” His PA came back into the office and he slammed his hands on the table.
“I told you to get out” Neil raised his voice and she flinched. Neil had never raised his voice at her no matter how wrong she was.
The PA left the office to the lady that was waiting outside.
“Ma’am the Boss doesn’t want to see you” She said politely and she was kinda surprised. Neil had never refused her presence.
“Did you tell him I am the one” Georgia said. She was Neil’s friend from childhood and also his f-__-kmate. She was also an actress and she detests Madison so much maybe because she had loved Neil secretly but he didn’t end up marrying her after f-__-king her for years.
“Ma’am I tried to tell him but he didn’t let me speak” The PA said and she hissed.
“You can’t do your job well. I’m sure that if you’ve told him that it’s me he would have told you to let me in…… Excuse me” Georgia pushed the PA out of the way that she staggered.
Then she walked into the office where Neil was still lost in thoughts. There was thorns of documents to sign but he left them undone as he couldn’t focus.
“Babe you didn’t want to see me?” Georgia let out a naughty smile as she sat on the arm of his swivel chair.
She traced her hands from his shoulder down to his chest but he pushed her hands away which shocked her.
“First you don’t want to see me and now this. I have a ongoing film and also a busy schedule but I ignored it all to come see you but now you’re giving me an attitude” Georgia yelled and Neil sighed.
“You said you have a busy schedule and attend to it.” Neil said nonchalantly. Like what she was complaining about wasn’t affecting him.
“How could you say that… Wait is it because of her” Georgia asked and Neil turned to her.
“Who’re you talking about?” Neil replied with a question.
“Madison… Don’t play naive with me. You’re thinking about her. “
“Don’t tell me you’re in love with her already. Neil answer me” She raised her voice and Neil ruffled his hair.
“Get out” Neil snapped pointing at the door.
“You’re telling me to leave your office because of that Ɓîtçh who doesn’t care about anyone else but herself” Georgia said standing up.
“I’m not in love with her so just leave I want to be alone” Neil said a little bit calmer this time around.
“I’ll leave just for now. I’m not ready to let go of you even though you’re married so don’t be in love with her. I want you for myself and sooner or later I’ll have you” Georgia said and stormed out of this office.
“I can’t be in love with her never. It was just a mere kiss and just a little distraction will make me forget about it” Neil said to himself before grabbing a pen to sign some files that was on his table.
EVENING, CINEMA HALL*
Lora, Neil and Madison came to the cinema. It was only Lora that looked happy coming here maybe because she had a motive in mind.
She was the one who selected the film they would be watching this evening and that got hergrinning.
She got some popcorn and Coke and gave them each before they went to the cinema hall.
It was a romantic movie they were watching. She made Neil and Madison sit down together even though they protested.
The movie started and it got interested to a point that their attention went to the movie.
Lora was munching on her popcorn as she watched the two angry birds who’s sole attention were already on the movie.
The movie heated up when it got to an erotic part. The male and female lead where kissing and then they got rid of their clothes before engaging on a hot steamy s*x.
Madison turned to her side and she saw some couples already kissing and making out and she her face back to the movie.
She didn’t want to continue watching cause it was slowly having an effect on her but anytime she looked away it was to see different couples having their own steamy moments.
She turned to Neil and then she saw that he was staring at her. They both held gazes for minutes.
Both she and Neil wasn’t looking away from each other it was like they were trapped but none was ready to make the first move.
Then Neil started leaning closer. Those her irresistible pink lips were drawing him closer to have a taste of them again.
The fact that Madison wasn’t saying anything or turning away made him continue leaning in and by now Lora was enjoying the show that was going on.
Neil was just inches close to her face and that was when Madison spoke up,
“What are you trying to do?”
