Don’t know how many hours i was asleep but I woke up to see everywhere is already dark. I need to get home, I can’t sleep here to avoid any sort of unnecessary connection.

“I’ll drop you” I hear Jesse voice and I turn back to see him coming downstairs dress up in a black short a tank top.

“Okay, I’ll text you”he says and I nod.
“Wait Beverly” he says grabbing my wrist as i was about stepping out. I turn back to him and my eyes widen with confusion written over me as he grab the back of my neck. I walk out of his car to my apartment without looking back at him.
I open the door to see that my lights are on. Did i forget to put it off this morning.
“You are back” a voice say making me jump in surprise. I look up to see Roy and Summer sitting on my sofa.
“Uh.. yeah” i say not ready for what’s to come from Summer.
“Bestie, I know you and Jesse can’t get enough of each other as per the relationship is new and stuff. But you should have place a call to let us know you are safe, we were worried since you left morning. You didn’t even visit your Bakery today, Bev..” she rants then pull me into a hug.
“Chill, what the heck” I say pushing her away.
“Congratulations Beverly” Roy says coming to me for a hug making me step back.
“Congratulations for what?” I almost scream.
“You and Jesse, aren’t you with him all day” summer says and Roy nods.
“Yes, but I’m not dating him” i tell them and they glare at me.
