CHAPTER FORTY SEVEN: THE RED PRIEST
Alucard watch snow as they remain seated in the carriage, heading back to the kingdom, she appear to be lost in thoughts, her gaze fixed outside the window ” what is it sweet snow?” Gaining her attention, she turn around to stare at me.
” am worried ”
” what worries you”
She sit properly then exhale ” what if going back make things worse, what if something bad is about to happen, something that may tear us apart ”
” then we fight it sweet snow ” I smile ” just promise to always stay with me snow, just promise and I will make it happen ”
Her face light up then she nod ” you know I want to be with you forever”she lean close, placing her head on my shoulder” and you need to know your food was delicious, I loved it, it was amazing ”
” too much compliment is not good for my health”
” aren’t you hungry?” When she said that I look at her, her eyes burning into mine ” if you are, you can have a sip ”
That made me chuckle ” a sip? ” smiling I lean close, our face one inch apart from each other, her cheek turn red instantly, she still blush from this ” if am to sink my teeth into you, am taking a drink cause am starving ”
” I don’t mind ”
” well I do ” using my hands I rob her lower lip ” am too hungry that if I taste your sweet blood I won’t be able to stop myself from taking all so forgive me” giving her lips a quick kiss I shake my head ” am not embracing you tonight”
” but…..”
The carriage stopped suddenly and only that alerted me, something is wrong, holding snow hands I step out only to discover that the coachman is dead, his head cut off and a parasite feasting on him has been taking us to devil’s knows where ” Alucard?”
” stay still, quite and don’t let go of my hand ” looking around the whole place I grit my teeth in anger, I was so occupied with snow I didn’t notice that the red priest has got to me.
A man who believe that all people like me were created by the devil and should be set free by inflicting pain, serious pain on them.
” do you fear God”
” I do not have time for this” I growl, looking around, the atmosphere is red, indicating that he has already set the barriers, no way out.
Snow draw closer and I swallow, I can’t let harm come to her, she is too precious to me, no one should harm her ” once again do you fear God ”
” your Savior can go to hell ” I growl out of annoyance ” no body is more powerful than I, I am who you should fear not a creature you haven’t and will never see” this however made him step out, his long red hair, black deep eyes and pale completion, staying away from sun is dangerous for humans.
” he look sick ” snow whisper and he stop, title his head then smile.
” a woman?” He murmur more to himself ” you, woman do you fear God “Snow look at me and that made him smile” if he confuses you, I will separate light from the dark ”
” wait …..” Before snow could complete her sentence, she disappear, out of my sight making my anger increase, my gaze move to the priest who is grinning.
” return her”
” do you fear God ” he step close, our face an inch apart ” deny him once more and……” I swiftly grab him by the neck and to my surprise what I was holding appear to be an ash which means right now he is with snow.
Why do things keep going wrong, problems back in the castle and now this possessed bastard that calls himself a priest is messing with me.
My fear is snow, if he touches her, I might just do something, everyone will h@ťě, every single person.
Snow step back with each step he use to move towards her direction, what are his motive, why separate me from Alucard ” do you fear God?” He asked for the second time and am left thinking, my father have always train me up to be a religious person, I grew up worshipping and believing in his wonders, so yes i do fear God but should I tell him that?
Will he set me free if I do?
” yes ” that made him stop walking, he look confused.
” a confessor ” he smile ” a confessor that fears God” within few minutes he is standing right in front of me, those dark eyes burning into mine ” you can confessed me if you wish to but you won’t ”
” why do you think….”
He cut me off with a shake of his head” it don’t work on me, I have the power of reflecting magic, instead you will confess yourself ” that was a blow to my ears, how do I stop him now ” but if you truly fear God then be mine ” he use his cold hands to touch my cheek, I try moving but it appears my legs are molted into the ground.
” what are you?”
” a priest with divine powers” he lean close and kiss my lips, a slow not deep but calm kiss ” being waiting for my Queen, be mine snow ”
How did he know my name?
” I love another ”
” that vampire?” He smile ” matters not, he will be dead soon then you shall be free”
” I do not wish for his death” my voice commanding
” I know what you wish for snow ” his appearance suddenly turn to that of Alucard, no. Ares” I know exactly what you need and trust me, I will give it to you ”
” you?” I gasp ” how”
” plans snow ” he smile ” I have been planing for centuries, waiting, setting stones and now all is working but that aside ” he lean really close, his hands around my waist”Won’t you be mine?” His blue eyes glitter ” be my queen snow, forget Alucard and stay with me”
