Mica’s POV
After eating, I sat down waiting for the boss to stand up and leave but he was busy with his phone. I couldn’t leave because Clara told me not to – saying nobody leaves the dining before him.
I kept waiting for him to leave but to no avail, I started feeling sleepy but Clara kept reminding me not to with her eyes.
The maids came to clear the tables and one mistakenly poured water on him, before anyone could say jack, he has already given her a sounding slap.

I ran up stairs to my room, the room is so beautiful and has a balcony. I opened the doors to the balcony to receive some flesh air.
I noticed so many guards walking up and down. It was already dark but lights reflected everywhere and I wondered why the gates and so many guards and maids. There was a knock on my door and I went to open it to see Clara standing there.
“Hey, you’re still awake?? “She asked and I wondered why she is being nice to me. She doesn’t know me.
“Yes, am still awake. I was at the balcony “I replied.
“Come, you have to get ready”she said and dragged me inside the bathroom. I wondered why I should get ready for. Shouldn’t I be sleeping by now??
Minutes later, three maids came in with some clothes – lingerie actually. They dragged inside the bathtub and started scrubbing my body like I have disease. I wondered why, I could bath my self.
After that, I was made to wear the lingerie and they left after that leaving Clara and me.
She gave me details of what I will be facing soon and I became so scared and my body started burning up.

“My name is Ruth, I was among the maids bathed you”she answererd.
“Oh.. Ok. My name is Mica. Nice to meet you “I said stretching my hand for a hand shake and she took it.
“My pleasure, I have to go before Rose the witch sees me here”with that said, she scurried away.
Who is Rose??
I was so happy that I escaped tonight but I wouldn’t have to escape every time. Would I??
