“How could the he be the Duchy?” Plato asked Julius who stood with his arms folded. Augustus was also sitting in the room with his eyes close.
“Zameil must have had him under a spell. There’s no way the king would put him above us” Julius said.
“Zameil of all people?!” Plato spat again.
“Y’all should just shut up!!” Augustus yelled and they both went mute.
“If you two had bought a good idea to win the war them this wouldn’t have happened. Instead you both were fighting like chickens!” Augustus stood up to leave.
“And you were also busy with your mistresses” Julius muttered.
Augustus stopped when he heard those words, he slowly turn his head to Julius.
“What did you just say?” He asked, raising his brow at him. His eyes cold.
“I never said anything” Julius shook his head.
“I thought so” Augustus muttered and left the room. He breath out when he was out and went in search for the king.

“ki|| her!” One of the people among the crowd yelled. Alice knelt before them all bloody with many h@ťěful gaze on her.
“What?” Alice raised her head up, her messy hair covering her face. Her hands were tied above her and he body aches so badly. She could hear many swears from different angles.
“What’s going on?” Her voice barely above a whisper.
A woman with tattered cloth was bought before her, she was covered in blood and was unkept too. Alice eyes widened seeing the face of the woman.
“Mom” she muttered. The woman looked up to Alice.
“My daughter” The woman whispered, her face filled with bruises. She could only keep one eyes open.
Just before Alice could try to understand the situation. The man behind her raised an axe and cut down the woman’s head. Alice eyes widened as she was blood splashing all over.
“Mom!!” She yelled. What the actual f-__-k! She heard the people Laughing at her. Her heart beating so hard against her chest. Her eyes spot a familiar figure in the crowd.
Zameil? His hair was white and long, his eyes gold as he stared at her. Baal! In the next second, he disappeared.
Her eyes dart around the crowd but she didn’t see him. She suddenly felt a hand snake around her neck from behind.
“Hello sweetheart” Baal’s deep voice sounded behind her, his aura dangerous. She felt his claw on her tender skin.
“Do you like what you just see?” He asked, his voice calm but one could sense the danger in it.
“Alice!”
“Alice!!”
“Alice!”
One the third call, Alice eyes flew opened. Her whole body was sweaty and trembling. Her eyes met with Zameil staring down at her with worries and confusion.
“Zam…”
“Hey, it’s okay. It was just a dream” He said calmly to her and drew her close to his chest. His scent seems to cool her down.
What a nightmare.
“Do you want to talk about it?” Zameil asked after she was calm.
“I.. I rather not” She whispered, then pulled herself away from him and yelp from the pain in her head. Noticing she was naked, she gasped.
“Hey! What happened last night?” She asked drawing the sheet close. “Did we do it?”
“Did what?”
“Did the.. uhm.. you know what I mean”
“I don’t, say it” Zameil shrugged, his hand behind his head as he stared at her with am amusing look on his face.
“How could you?! You should have taken my permission.. but wait? Why can’t I remember anything? Did you drug me?” She asked.
“You got drunk after one cup..”
“One cup?” Alice blinked severally.
“Thought you were a good drinker”
“I am!” She yelled at him.
“Yes you are”
“I’m really serious. You must be mistaken, how could I have been drunk after one cup?”
“Yeah, I believe you” Zameil’s said, his voice and expression saying the opposite.
Alice felt like punching his face.
“Beside, you were the one all over last night. I couldn’t hold myself” He said.
Alice rolled her eyes.
“Did you remember what you said?” He asked, his face a bit serious this time.
‘I love you Zameil’ that words kept ringing in his head.
“Huh? Did I say something? What did I say? I didn’t insult you right?” Alice eyes widened.
She didn’t remember. Maybe he didn’t hear her right.. he decided to change the topic.
“I had a good gift from you last night” He smirked.
“I’ll ki|| you if this happen again. How could you take advantage of a drunk woman” Alice garled at him. Zameil furrowed his brow.
He swiftly pulled her and hovered over her. Before she could speak, he was kissing her hard. Using his teeth to nibble her lips turn by turn.
Alice made to speak, but that gave him the opportunity to dive his tongue in exploring her mouth with his tongue. Alice felt the man knocking every breath inside of her, as if he knew it, he broke the kiss.
Their eyes stared at each other before Zameil broke the silence.
“That woman is my wife” He said, he shift his gaze down her hand holding the sheet against her chest. He remove her hand slowly.
“And she shouldn’t be shy before me. Cus I’ll have her whenever I want to” He whispered, then draw his lips close to her ear. “You like it when I touch you Alice?”
Alice breath was shaky at the moment. His hand was busy massaging one of her br**st. She bit her lips prevent the Mõ@ɲ thr_@tening to tore out from her wet lips. Her Ɲīpplë harden when he gave it a light squeeze.
His touch was fire, igniting her body in a way she could ever imagine but she won’t admit it easily.
“Answer me” He whispered in a husky voice again. This time his hand was trailing down to her wet core.
“Zameil..” She could help but let out those Mõ@ɲ, parting her leg. His two finger massaging her sensitive nub.
“What? You don’t want it?” He asked and was about to remove his hand but Alice held it.
“I love it when you touch me” she admitted quickly. She was too wet for him to treat her this way.
“How bold” Zameil smirked. He slamed his lips on hers kissing her gently this time. Her arms wrapped around her neck.
“Ouch!” She Mõ@ɲ out when he dove two fingers inside her at once. She felt what she wanted and wanted more.
Her Mõ@ɲ filled his ear as he f-__-ked her hard and fast with his finger until she $h00ts her wetness.

While having breakfast, Alice kept thinking of the nightmare. She could get her mind off it.
“Is there something bothering you wife?” Zameil asked. He was sitting across her, while reading an old book.
“Why aren’t you eating?” She asked.
“I needed to check on something. I’ll be really busy today, is there something I can do for you?” He closed the book with a smile. Alice seems to think for a moment.
“Can I see my mom?” She asked, she feel like the dream was telling her something.
“Of course, I’ll ask my guard to escort you to her, your husband now have power you know?” Zameil said and she chuckled.
“Be careful” She said and he nodded. There are many enemies lurking around, the last thing she had on mind is for Zameil to get into trouble.

“Did you do it?” Queen Delphine asked Old Gytha standing behind her.
“Yes your highness. He’ll start feeling sick soon. His inner organ will destroy bit by bit, it’s going to take days so it will leave no trace and…” Old Gytha said.
“I don’t need to head all of that” Queen Delphine raised her finger.
“Yes your highness”
“I guess it’s time to clear him out of the way. He had done enough” She turn to look at the maid who has head bowed.
Queen Delphine stride out of her room but her eyes met with her daughter staring at her in terror. With just one look, The Queen knew she heard everything.
“Mother…”
“Say those words out and I’ll ignore the fact that you are my child and make you dumb forever” The Queen warned and Riya kept shut.
The Queen stepped towards her..
“Forget what you’ve heard today Riya, if you love yourself. Don’t worry my love, I’m preparing a better life for us” The Queen said with a smile and left the place.
Old Gytha followed behind her.
“What’s going on?” Riya stood with a confused look.

The cell opened with a loud creak sound. Alice thought she won’t feel anything once she sees this woman, but she did. It felt like needles piercing through her heart.
This woman was lean, she wonder if she had ever eaten before. She was weak laying on the floor with dirt all over. Alice didn’t realize her eyes tearing up.
Why haven’t she come to see her after many days she had been in the palace. Even though this wasn’t her real mother, she h@ťěd seeing her this way.
The woman named Ruth looked up to her in shock.
“Elizabeth” Ruth shifted from her place and sat up.
“Mom?” Alice tear flows down her face.
“My child” Even with the situation, Ruth smiled, her eyes tearing up too. Alice went to kneel before her.
Ruth lifted her trembling hands to her hand. “I’m glad you’re okay and here”
Alice’s eyes teared up the more.
“Why are you so lean huh? Talk to me.. did those stupid guards didn’t give you something to eat? Why the hell are you here in the first place?!”
Ruth smile dropped as her face turn confused.
“You’re not Elizabeth” She muttered. Alice bit down her lips.
“You know what? Can we leave that aside for now? Tell me what I need to know, I’ll get you out of here first no matter what” Alice said with utmost solemnity.
She was glad when Ruth nodded instead of arguing or asking her questions.

At night, when Alice found Zameil.
“Why are they treating her like that?” Alice asked, he chest heaving as she could hardly breath.
Seeing her angry expression, Zameil send the guards away and walked to stand before her.
“What happened?” He tried to touch her face but she slapped it away. Her eyes was swelling in tears.
“I feel ki||ing myself Zameil. Why didn’t I go sooner. She eats once a day and bath once a week and I’m here doing nothing to help her out. I might have h@ťěd her but I h@ťě seeing her this way. She’s suffering from something she knows nothing about and.. I …” She stopped an hiccupoed.
Zameil pulled her for a hug, he kissed her head lightly.
“I’ll get her out, I promise” He said, while she cried on his chest. He didn’t know her mother was suffering so much since he had no power but now that he does, he’ll find every means to get her out.

In the next morning,
Mirabel was with Hunter and Phaedra in the garden as the played under the glowing sun.
Macbeth was watching from a distance. Mirabel look so happy, maybe Mirabel was right about her. She was indeed becoming a monster.
“Can I play too?” Macbeth asked Phaedra and Mirabel. They both looked up, same with hunter.
Hearing no reply, she spoke again. “Hunter is such a cute wolf”
Hunter growled in reply.
“He said thank you but he prefers handsome to cute” Phaedra replied and they both laughed.
Macbeth looked over to Mirabel staring at her with a worried look.
“Macbeth are you okay?” Mirabel asked.
“Huh? I.. I am fine.. thank for asking..”
“No, your face look so paled. Are you sick?” Mirabel asked. Phaedra also noticed Macbeth paled face and got worried too.
“I was feeling weird since last night. I’m sure it’ll go away once I see the physician” Macbeth said.
“Better do, I’m leaving” Mirabel said standing up to leave.
“Mirabel? Are you still mad at me?” Macbeth asked. Mirabel stop walking, and faced her.
“Of course I’m still mad at you! You threw all our sisterhood just because of a boy and I had to tried to make things work. You have no idea how bad and lonely I felt, it was as if I had lost my only family and it hurt so much..”
At this time Macbeth breath was heavy, her eyes tearing up.
“Right now, I don’t want to have anything to do with you and mom” Mirabel finished all with huge breath but then noticed blood coming out from Macbeth’s nose.
“Macbeth?” Mirabel’s eyes widened but she watch her sister collapse unto the floor.

At the same time, Zameil just finish preparing his horse, he faced Alice standing behind him. Derek and some guard waited for him. Today, Zameil and Derek are going to Ava’s town to make a research about her.
“Why do I feel like you don’t want me to leave?” He asked with a cute smile.
“I’m just worried” Alice said.
“Is that so?” He asked stepping closer to her, he draw her waist to himself. Her face blushed hard.
“There are guards behind you” She said.
“Let them watch” He said, then lean down to kiss her lips. It was just a short kiss. Alice couldn’t pull away, but only blush.
“I’ll make a research about your mother too, I’ll be back wife” He said, kissing her forehead before turning to leave.
Derek took a deep breath. Now he wish Phaedra was here to so he could kiss her but.. he had already say his goodbye before she went to play with hunter and Mirabel.
Alice watched them leave the place. Her face suddenly turn cold as she step back in.

Alice walked into the room and found Eleanor knitting on her bed with a blank look on her face.
“Finally” Alice said, her jaw harden.
“What do you want Alice?” She asked, not looking up.
“Explanation” Alice replied. “I feel like you’re two faced. Acting good but what is inside you is evil”
Eleanor stopped knitting and dropped it gently on her bed. She took a deep sigh and looked up at Alice.
“Evil? I still don’t know what you are talking about” She said, keeping her calm face.
“You ki||ed the maid in the hall, you ki||ed Helen and you tried to ki|| me..”
“I wanted to ki|| you” Eleanor cut in and Alice was shocked.
“What?”
“But I changed my mind. And yes, I ki||ed the maid and Helen just to cover up my identity, but I guess it’s useless since we are all gonna die” Eleanor said. Alice couldn’t believe what she was hearing, in fact she could not believe Eleanor was the one saying all of these.
“Why did you do this?” Alice asked swallowing the lumps raising in her throat.
“Your soul and body are different so I thought you were one of them” Eleanor shrugged.
“What? One of who?” Alice glared at her.
Eleanor face remain hard as she replied.
“One of those demons”
Alice felt her heart pounding hard against her chest.. One of those demons???
“What do mean?” Alice asked.
“Baal and Delilah aren’t the only demons out there Alice. There are more of them…
“And they are coming…
