“Fight!” The announcement was made and they both lauched towards each other.

Their sword clashed and sparks could be seen. Both figure swing their sword swiftly as they move around the field, trying to draw the first blood of their opponent.
Augustus jumped, sending his sword down to him. Zameil was fast enough to block the attack. Their face close as both glared at each.
“What’s wrong Zameil, you seem weak” Augustus smirked.
“Trust me, I’m not even trying” Zameil smirked.
Augustus scoffed, and in the next moment, he pushed his sword further, it slide forward aiming for his face. Zameil duck backward, and sent a kick to Augustus’s side. It wasn’t hard enough for him to fall though.
Augustus didn’t waste another moment as he attack again. Veins could be seen on his forehead, he swing his sword dangerously at Zameil.
‘ki|| him’ Zameil eyes widened as he heard a voice in his head. Baal! Seeing he was distracted, Augustus landed a blow on his face sending him down to the floor.
Alice who was watching but her lips hard. Why is she feeling so uncomfortable? Beside what’s the need for this fight. The Queen must be the one who suggested, judging from her serious look.
Zameil eyes widened in horror. Why the hell is Baal creeping out? This is a bad time! He rolled over to the other side when Augustus made to stab him to the floor.
Riya was in a hot sit.. already. She doesn’t know who to support.. Her brother or the man she crave for.
Getting up to his feet, Zameil shook his head a little. He should get over with this as soon as possible. He look around hoping to see Derek but he was nowhere to be found.
“Looking for your friend?” Augustus asked, Zameil gave him a questioning look. “I’m afraid you won’t get to see him ever again”
“What are you talking about?” Zameil asked taking one step close.
They are the only one who can hear each other.
“As soon as I become king Zameil” Augustus smirked, he shifted his gaze to Alice. Zameil did the same. “I’ll ki|| you and make her mine”
Zameil held his sword tight.
“You can change that Zameil. How about you steal my title and become the next king.”
“You know I don’t care about that”
“Why not? This is your chance to impress the king at least. Your parents doesn’t give a f-__-k about you. They didn’t think twice before sealing that demon in you. You’re not loved, you just like a shadow…”
“Don’t talk about them” Zameil growled, shutting his eyes.
Alice stood up slowly, she couldn’t hear them but she knew Augustus is up to something.
“Or what? Are you going hurt me? Just like you hurt your friend when you were a kid? You’re a monster Zameil accept that fact. You’re cursed since the you were born..”
“Stop!” Zameil yelled launched towards him. His made to slash Augustus arm but it torn his cloth instead. That was because he tried to hold himself.
Years ago, Zameil’s close friends were two. Derek and Ava. They play a lot together when they were kids. Not until one day, Ava who had no idea about the demon in Zameil met with him on the full moon. He slashed her on the stomach. Thankfully, it wasn’t deep enough to ki|| her.
Seeing what he had done, Zameil h@ťěd himself and isolated from people except Derek…
“I wanted your friends to know what you were” Augustus smirked. wait! Does this mean Augustus was the reason Ava showed up that night?
A painful groan left him lips and he held his head, his claws sipping out. He tried his best to fight Baal back in but it wasn’t working. Augustus is trying to put him into a deep $h|t.
The guest frowned, same as the king..
With his head facing down, Zameil slowly stood on his feet. Augustus could hear the soft growl coming from him so he held his sword tight.
Zameil slowly raised his sword to his arm and cut himself. Blood dripping down his arm.
“I yield” He declared under his breath. He dropped his sword and quickly find his way his way out of the field.
Augustus eyes widened, Zameil was able to control himself?!
Alice stood up too and left.
The Queen took a deep breath.

Alice head her way through the hall. She made to enter a room but a guard stop her.
“I’m sorry my lady, his highness wish to be alone and had asked not to let anyone in” the guard said politely.
“Huh? Why not?” Alice asked with a frown.
“That’s what he wants my lady, I’m sorry” The guard apologized.
“Right” Alice breath out gently. On her way back, she met Caesar. “Hey” she smiled awkwardly.
“Hey, how have you been?” He asked.
“Good, can we talk later?” Alice asked.
“I just need few minutes. I can’t keep this in me” He said. Alice couldn’t reject him.
Caesar and Alice walked into a room having a piano and a flute.
“Can we play just once” Caesar requested. His voice pleading. Alice wanted to reject but he added. “Please”
“Fine” she muttered. Caesar set the piano, he looked up to her.
“Play something” He requested. He watch her sat beside him, taking the flute to her mouth. Soon, a melodious sound filled the room.
Caesar rest his hand on the piano and began to play. They both looked at each other and smile. The slow music was so pleasant to the ear that they got lost in the pleasure.
After a while, the music end and they both chuckled.
“Ha, that was awesome. d@mn! You’re so good” Alice said.
“Yeah, you’re perfect” Caesar said but his smile disappeared the next moment.
“Uhm, Alice” He took a deep breath when their eyes met. “I know what I’m going to say won’t matter anymore cus your heart belongs to someone else even though you try to deny it. I regret not meeting you sooner. Yeah, you must have noticed the feelings I have for you..” Caesar face dropped with sadness.
Alice sighed. “Caesar..”
“I’m not trying to take you from him. I’m not that kind of person. I just hope he treats you well.. we can be friends right?” Caesar asked.
Alice smiled. She knew Caesar likes her and she is glad he is not the kind of guy who get obsessed with a girl they want.
“We can friend of course. You’re a good person Caesar” Alice smiled.
“Tssk.. I’m flattered. Just let me know if you need anything while I’m here. I’ll do everything I can to help you”
“Sure” Alice nodded cutely.

“The crown prince won?” A maid asked another.
“Yes, his highness cut himself and yield out. I saw everything” The other maid spoke.
“Oh my, why would he do that? Is he that weak. I thought he is said to be the most ski||ed prince when he was young and that his brothers were jealous of him”
“I know right, I guess he is losing his ability”
“Oh goodness, I hope he’s alright”
“He locked himself up in his room, he must be feeling ashamed right now”
Saverina who was listening them while washing the dishes rolled her eyes.
“His wife seems useless, she just sat there without doing anything”
Saverina gaze turn cold..
“I wish I’m the destined wife of his. I’ll do everything it takes to make him win. Is that girl only meant for his bed…”
A loud clash made the two maids jump. They turn to see Saverina glaring at them with her arms folded.
“How about you two should shut up and mind your f-__-king business” She snapped.
“What is your problem?!” The first mid snapped.
“Bring your head to me and I’ll tell you what my problem is” Saverina raised her brow. The first maid scoffed and walked close to Saverina, she draw her face close.
“Okay fine. Tell me” she dared. Saverina immediately bought her hand down to her face. The maid fell on her butt with her eyes widened. The second maid was shocked too. Other maids could only watch.
“Insult my friend again, and I’ll ki|| you” Saverina warned. Her cold gaze made the maids swallow. What does she mean? Is the princess her friend?
“What is going on here?” Old Gytha walked into the place and saw the scene.
“She’s bullying!” The maid standing spoke.
Old Gytha gaze went to the maid on the floor. One part of her lips was bleeding.
“Give her fifteen lashes” Old Gytha said to the guards behind her.
As the marched outside, they met Alice. The maids behind whispered among each other. She was on her way to see Saverina. Seeing the guards holding her, she frowned.
“Stop?” She ordered and they all did. “What did she do?”
Old Gytha stepped out. “Your grace. She was bullying her fellow maids, she need to be punish” she explained. The maids thought Alice wouldn’t care but..
“She must have done that for a reason. Let her go” Alice ordered the guards.
“Your highness, you can’t do that..” Old Gytha spoke.
“Why not?” Alice raised her brow. These people, she doesn’t like them.. especially those close to the Queen.
“Because the Queen ask me to decipline whosoever that offends” Old Gytha replied.
Alice scoffed and walked closer to Old Gytha, her face cold.
“Saverina was bought here by my husband.. Are you questioning my authority?” She raised her brow.
“But the Queen…”
“Say that one more time and I’ll have the guards make your butt swollen and red that you won’t be able to sit for days” Alice warned and Old Gytha kept quiet. She return her gaze to the guards. Just a glare is enough to tell them what she wants.
Saverina was released..
“Since I lost my maid.. from now on, Saverina will be by my side”
Old Gytha stayed silent though her blood was boiling inside.
“Come with me” Alice said to Saverina and they bothe walked away.
“Maybe they are truly friends” one of the maid speak. Old Gytha gave them a dirty look and they all rushed to continue their works. Looking back to Alice Old Gytha scoffed.
“She has grown wings aiit?” She muttered.

Getting into the room Alice faced Saverina.
“I’m not your maid” Saverina said.
“I never said you are my maid. I only said you’re going to stay beside me” Alice shrugged.
“Why do you interfere?”
“Because I knew you did that for a reason. Was it for my sake?” Alice asked.
“No!” Saverina immediately reply.
“Hmm. Now you’re free, but you still need to stay in the palace” Alice said.
“You came looking for me for a reason. What was it?” She asked and Alice sighed.
“I need to find out what The Queen and Augustus are planning.. tonight”
“Sure. I should tell you this too, Zameil is not in the palace. He went to find Derek”

The next morning, Phaedra woke up due to the knock on her door. Her face was sad not seeing Derek, she slept off while waiting for him. Hunter growled a little beside her bed.
The Queen and some guards stepped in. Hunter stood up to its feet and growled dangerously at the guards. The Queen look down at the wolf.
“Take it away” She ordered and the guard step close. Hunter roared and they jumped back.
“Control it, or I’ll have the guards ki|| him” The Queen said to Phaedra. Phaedra squat before Hunter.
“It’s okay, I’ll be back before you know hmm?” Phaedra pat its fur. Hunter calmed instantly.
“There’s no need to take him away, he can stay in the room” Phaedra said.
“Come with me” The Queen said and turn to leave. Phaedra gave Hunter a smile before leaving. Hunter howled sadly.
Getting inside a hall, Phaedra found the king and the guests waiting for her.
“My dear come closer” The kind said and she obeyed.
“We heard a terrible news about Derek. His pack was attacked and he died while trying to save it” Phaedra eyes widened.

Meanwhile, Augustus was on his way there, his eyes widened like that of the moon seeing the tall figure walking slowly towards him. He held his head high, with a mocking smile on his face. He doesn’t even look hurt.. what the hell?!
“Ah, father in-law” Derek chuckled. He was a bit taller than Augustus. “I kinda miss you”
Thanks to Zameil’s help he was able to deal with his pack issue.
Augustus stood frozen.
“You don’t look happy to see me? That’s heartbreaking, I thought you’ll jump with joy” Derek said.
“How did…” Augustus muttered. Those rogues sent to Derek’s pack are d@mn strong. How did he manage to save his pack.
“I met with their leader and had a cool deal with him. It wasn’t that hard. Not all things should be settled with fight. That’s one thing you should know dear father in-law” Derek said.
“Stop calling me that” Augustus glared.
“Ah, you didn’t know. My bad I forgot to tell you” Derek stepped close and draw his lips close.
“Her walls were tight. I wonder what your mistresses are enjoying” He draw his face back and look down to his bulge.
Getting what he meant, Augustus made to punch him but Derek held his arm.
“Oh come on. I can’t fight with my father in-law, remember I’m an alpha..” Derek face turn cold. “I won’t let this slide if something like this happen again”
He tapped Augustus shoulder gently before walking towards Zameil, Alice and Saverina standing from a distance. Augustus face was red with anger. He didn’t even bother going there again, instead he head to his room.

“I can still feel he’s alive, Derek is not dead” Phaedra said boldly.
“She’s right” Derek’s voice sounded behind.
“Derek!” Phaedra ran to hug him tight.
The Queen felt like she just see a ghost. After all her plan last night? Alice smiled seeing her shocked especially.. she exchange a look with Saverina and they both smiled.
“I don’t think this is necessary father” Caesar spoke up this time.
They all turn their head to Caesar.
“I know you’re trying to get me a wife from the royal family so you can be more closer to the king but I think you are closer enough. Beside I have someone I love..”
Zameil’s face drop, and he waited for what he was about to say.
“Back home” Caesar completely.
Alice was squealing inwardly. she was the one who asked him to do this. Lord Jacob sighed and face the king.
“I should respect my son’s decision” Lord Jacob said and face Phaedra and Derek. “Beside she has someone who cherish already. We’re still friends and we’ll always be”
The king nodded in agreement.
“No” Queen Delphine spoke up. “Phaedra and Caesar should get married. That would be a good collaboration”
“I know my Queen, but let’s respect their decision” Lord Jacob spoke.
Queen Delphine look over to the five people smirking at her.
Alice gave her a f-__-k you sign.
Anger took over her, triggering something in her. And that, Saverina noticed. The Queen stormed out of the room and Saverina eyes widened.
“Did her eyes just glow?” Saverina muttered looking back.
“She has dark powers”
