She immediately landed a lash of the belt on Maggie’s thigh.
“Arrrggghhh!!!”
Maggie screamed out as her lungs as Lucia lashed out her rage on her. She cried, rolled, whimpered but Lucia didn’t stop, not even once with the beating
When Kingsley saw it was already escalating, he immediately stepped in.
“Okay, Lucia that’s enough. You’ll seriously hurt her” Kingsley pulled Lucia away by the waist.
“Let me go!” Lucia kicked her feet in the air and Kingsley carried her at a safe distance away from Maggie.
“Security!” Kingsley called and two men walked in few seconds later
“Take her away and make sure that she never steps foot again in this company” Kingsley said, gesturing at Maggie who was still crying.
“No… Argh, Kingsley” Maggie cried and the security guards heaped her up and left the office with her.
Kingsley then released Lucia who ran her hands in her hair. He could see her anger hasn’t yet cool down.
She glared at Kingsley who immediately raised his hand up.
“Don’t kick me in the balls. My balls are innocent” Kingsley immediately said, referring to their first encounter
Lucia rolled her eyes. “Why is she so obsessed with you? Not like you’re even the most handsome man in this galaxy. Can’t she just read the signs and just rest” Lucia flared out.
“What? Are you jealous?” Kingsley smirked with a raised brow.
Lucia gave him a look from head to toe before she rolled her eyes
“Pick those papers, Miss. Stewart wants you to sign them. I’m out of here” Lucia said and made to walk away but Kingsley pulled her into his arms, hugging her from behind.
“What the hell are you doing?” Lucia snapped at him.
“You’re angry, I can’t let you go when you’re in a bad mood. Once you’ve calmed down, I’ll let you go” Kingsley said, resting his head on her shoulder with his hands around her waist.
Lucia took a deep breath before she exhaled out. “I’m calmed now, will you let me go”
“No”
“You-“
“Shut up or I’ll kiss you” Kingsley whispered to her ears and she clamped her lips tight. Kingsley smirked, he knew that will make her shut up
“Can I ask a question? Each time you seem to get furious when someone bullies you, is there any particular reason to that?” He asked
He felt her stiffen in his arms when he said those words and slowly she was lost in her thoughts.
“You don’t have to say if it makes you feel uncomfortable” Kingsley said, inhaling her sweet scent
“I.. I was bullied very much. They all laughed at me, made fun of me, even the first guy I once had a crush into, he humiliated me publicly” Lucia replied slowly.
“I see… But why would any guy reject you? That person must have no taste in women” Kingsley frowned

“No, why?”

Andrew was seen in his room, the squeaking sound of the bed and the slapping of skins were heard and he drilled a girl from behind.

Andrew wore his shorts before he walked out of the room. He met Jayden and Kyle at the living room watching TV, completely unbothered with the slur sounds that rented the whole place minutes ago.
“Did she faint?” Kyle asked, eating from his popcorn.
“Well I don’t know” Andrew shrugged and sat down, picking from Kyle’s bowl.
“Can’t wait for the day love will humble you” Jayden said.
“Nah, I can’t commit to just one p**sy forever” Andrew shrugged
“What about you? I saw the way you kissed her yesterday” Andrew smirked.
“Do you like her now?” Kyle joined in the discussion.
“Yes”
“But I fear I have a competitor” Jayden added.
“Let me guess, Kingsley” Kyle said and he nodded.
“Then you gotta be faster and smarter. You have to make a move now dude” Andrew said

“Can’t wait to know who’s the prom King and Queen!” Scarlett exclaimed as they walked in the school
The voting were held during the weekend and now the winners were going to be pasted.
The girls walked in and couldn’t help but notice all eyes were on them.
“Oh my freaking goodness!” Scarlett exclaimed when she saw the poster.
Lucia’s eyes widened. “I and Jayden won?” She muttered.
“This is such a big surprise! No one has ever beaten Maggie. This calls for celebration” Scarlett hugged Lucia
“You and Jayden will be the face of the school, congratulations” Eva smiled.
“Thank you!” Lucia grinned.
“Lucia, you look really pretty today” A guy complimented her, taking her by surprise.
“Uhh thank you” She said awkwardly
One walked up to them with a shy smile on his face. He scratches the back of his neck nervously
“Umm, Lucia can you-” He paused when he saw someone giving him a murderous glare.
“N-Nevermind” He said and immediately scurried off
Lucia looked back to see it was Kingsley. He winked at her and she immediately looked away.
โLuciana Park, to the principal’s office. Now.โ A voice blared in the speaker.
“Huh? Why’s that?” Becky questioned.
“Only one way to find out” Lucia muttered before leaving for the principal’s office.
She got there and just like a deja vu, she met Maggie sitting beside her mother, Jade.
“Good morning” Lucia greeted but Jade just casted a murderous look at her.
“Please have your seat” The principal said and Lucia sat down. She already knew what was going to happen.
“Look at Maggie’s, did you do all that to her” The principal spoke.
Lucia looked at Maggie who held a pitiful look on her face with tears in her eyes.
“Yes” Lucia said and Jade immediately spranked up
“I told you mom, I told you she did this to me. She attacked me because I went to see Kingsley and she…” Maggie broke down in tears.
“It was an act of self defense, she attacked me and I gladly gave her what she was looking for. I don’t regret any bit of it and I’ll do even more if your daughter doesn’t know her lane” Lucia said, looking straight in Jade’s eyes
“f-__-king expel this piece of nothing right now!” Jade barked.
“I’m sorry, I can’t” The principal said and Jade glared even more
“What? Are you disobeying my orders? I own shares in this school!!!”
“What share exactly?” A voice came from the door and Jade turned to see Kingsley leaning against the door. He smirked and walked in
“What the hell are you talking about!”
“Ma’am Kingsley,, bought your shares of the school” The principal said.
Jade and Maggie’s eyes widened and they turned to Kingsley who looked unfazed
“What…” Jade said, more like in a whisper.
“My mom didn’t give her permission for her shares to be sold” Maggie said.
“Money makes the rules, you should know that since you’re as twisted” Kingsley said before facing Jade
“From today, I want you out of my school and don’t dare step a foot in here without my permission. You can go and complain to my dad but he can do nothing. All my wealth are registered under my name so there’s no way, you’re getting those shares back” Kingsley said with a smirk on his lips.
Jade folded her fists tightly as her anger began bubbling like she would explode anytime. Not knowing what to do, she stormed out of the office, slamming the door violently
“Mom!” Maggie exclaimed
“And to you, be careful. You never know when you’ll get expelled” Kingsley smirked and he looked at Lucia then smiled before leaving
Maggie stared at space in shock. She glared at Lucia who gave her a scornful smile before leaving too.

A smile kept beaming on Lucia’s lips as she walked through the corridor. She was ready to confront Maggie’s mother even if she gets expelled, she didn’t expect Kingsley to come save her…again.
She began thinking of all the moments he saved her and couldn’t help but feel grateful.
“I really need to thank him” Lucia muttered to herself.
“Lucia”
Lucia turned to see Jayden walking towards her.
“Hi” He smiled out
“Uhh… Hey” She said awkwardly. Ever since the kiss, things had become awkward between them
“Can we talk privately?” Jayden asked
“Ohh. Sure” Lucia said and Jayden led the way.
They headed to the rooftop where they both took a seat on the bench there.
Lucia smiled with her eyes closed, enjoying the breeze that hit her face, dishevelling her hair.
A faint gasp escaped her lips when Jayden tugged a piece of her hair behind her each, his hand lingering on her cheek
Lucia opened her eyes to look at Jayden. The look he was giving her at this moment was different from the usual. This one strangely made her feel giddy.
“Lucia, I have feelings for you” Jayden dropped the bombshell and her eyes widened.
“I don’t care about the rumors, whether they’re fake or not. All I see is you and you alone” He said, rubbing his thumb on her rosy cheek
His gaze went to her lips before he looked back at her eyes
“Will you be my girlfriend?”
